I just walked into Jake's Vitamin Shop for the first time, and honestly, I was blown away…read more From the moment I walked through the door, Jake, the owner, greeted me with a huge smile and made me feel welcome. The shop itself looks fantastic. It's clean, organized, fully stocked, and has an incredible selection of products. Whether you're a serious bodybuilder, a busy parent, a kid, or someone simply looking to improve their health, Jake has something for just about everyone. But the store is only the tip of the iceberg. What really stood out to me was Jake himself. His customer service was absolutely amazing, and his knowledge of supplements is on another level. I walked in knowing very little and honestly was just going off information I had seen on TikTok. I had so many questions, and Jake was able to answer every single one. You can genuinely tell that he knows his stuff and understands the products he sells. I've been to other vitamin and supplement shops where the employees only seem to have a basic understanding of what's on the shelves. Jake was completely different. He was knowledgeable, patient, and actually took the time to explain things instead of just trying to sell me something. For a new store, Jake's Vitamin Shop is already doing an incredible job. Great selection, fantastic atmosphere, extremely clean and organized, and most importantly, amazing customer service. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend checking this place out!

I had a phone screen and two onsite visits with Heidi when she was still at her Northgate location back in November 2017. Ancient Yelp post, I know. She has since then moved to her Lynnwood location. I underwent the screening and paid out of pocket for the lab work up. She was very thorough, personable, and passionate about her profession. Upon first meeting, you knew she really cared about your well-being and listened to your concerns. I ended up with a lot of information to digest, but in the end I did not pursue one of her tailored programs. What I did greatly appreciate though seven months later, there was no pressure and the information provided enough guidance for me to make tangible changes in my diet and lifestyle.

I first saw her when I was struggling to recover…read morefrom a virus that had lingered for months -- it seemed like every time I started to feel better, I'd have a setback and feel tired and miserable again. I started feeling some improvements within a month and by four months was feeling so much better than I've felt in years. To be honest, the foods Heidi told me I needed to avoid.. I already knew I should avoid. But, what really helped me were the things she had me add to my diet, both whole foods and supplements. Many of us have tried dietary changes that center on what you can't have. If you're like me, you focus on what you can't have or can't do, and eventually your will power fades. It helped that Heidi handed me a list of foods I actually like to focus on eating, but really what made it doable is that Heidi is very kind and doesn't expect or want perfection from you. When I have a hectic week or am traveling and can't make ideal meal choices, I am able to rely on my supplement regime to fill in the gaps. These days my health and energy level are a little up and down (depending on how closely... or not... I follow Heidi's recommendations, so there's a NYE resolution somewhere in that). When I was following my plan pretty strictly, my primary care doctor was so thrilled with the improvement in my health that she said she wasn't going to ask questions about what I was doing because she loved the results. :)
