Lobster ravioli

Fantastic food, great service, and a wonderful family vibe. Richard and the staff bring the goods. Highly recommend the meatballs, lobster ravioli, and... really anything else. It was all wonderful.

We came with some friends while we were visiting Boston and had a lovely time. The staff were very attentive. We sat in the bottom of the restaurant, which I think was like a wine cellar. I had a pasta special - the noodles had squid ink in them. It was delicious - some of the best Italian food I have ever had. And large portions. Worth the price tag for the leftovers you get.

I needed to get some Italian while visiting Boston and Ristorante Euno was recommended online so I swung in! It's a smaller space with more seating in the basement. I was able to grab a table for one and be seated right away on a Friday night with no reservation, but if you have a larger party I would reserve a spot. I ordered the Caesar and the bolognese which is apparently award winning! The Caesar wasn't anything special and was probably a bit too expensive for what you got (~$17). The bolognese is made with osso bucco as opposed to ground meat and it was very delicious! Generous portion too. The ambiance was stuck between classic Italian restaurant and wine mom with lots of wooden signs with sayings, which was a little odd. I also misunderstood the server, ordered still water instead of tap and paid $7 for a bottle of water which was frustrating but my fault! Overall solid stop but I would try other spots in the north end before returning here.

Linguini alla Vongole

The restaurant is a bit obscure. Took a while to find it with so many options of Italian restaurant in North End. Server was nice and attentive with extensive knowledge of the menu. They always provide their daily special menu to guest. We ordered calamari friti as appetizer, main course was linguini alla vongole, and dessert was their home made cannola. All of these food reminds me of my trip to Italy. Restaurant has romantic ambiance, perfect for date/anniversary.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Came here with my girlfriend on our Boston trip. The service was phenomenal and they made you feel like home. The two servers we had were attentive and friendly, even offering to take our coats at the door. Alejandro is one of the servers and he was so friendly and went above and beyond! The food was amazing and we had some of the best Gnocchi I've ever tasted. The ambiance is very beautiful, located in a charming brick building with darker lighting. It was a real treat for our stay in Boston and a must try for anyone new to the city!

Chicken special with gnocchi and mushrooms

We are here our first night in Boston and I'd highly recommend it. The inside was super cost, we were the first ones in and pretty much showed up right when it opened so we were greeted immediately and were tended to quite nicely. We were pleasantly surprised by how large the portion sizes were. I got the special chicken for the night which was a great choice. Mom got the halibut, dad got the chicken parm. The focaccia bread they brought out was some of the yummiest I've ever had

We stumbled on this little place as we were walking on the North End trying to decide where to eat. It was "Molto Buono" like being in Italy. The food was amazing, the service top notch. Great ambiance. I did not want the meal to end. The kids enjoyed it so much. Didn't get a chance to photograph the Buffalo mozzarella because the kids ate it before I could picture it. The manager was so nice and welcoming. I was undecided so I let him choose for me. Loved my meal. Definitely stop here. Recommend a reservation.

If you're in the Boston area, I would consider it a sin NOT to try Bricco's Salumeria. Not joking when I say that my favorite bite experienced during my entire trip to Massachusetts, came from one of the focaccia sandwiches I ordered from Bricco's. I have already made it a point in my mind to hit this spot in the North End of Boston any and EVERY-time I find myself in the Boston area. It truly is an Italian staple and a Boston Classic! I am a sucker for the majority of places that promote and sell to the public the local or imported ingredients and produce that are used in the making of the speciality menu items that make the spot a household name. Truly a traditional and classic Italian spot that speaks to the inner Paisan inside. It's like stepping into a part of Italy when you walk in here. The bakery is cash only and sells a variety of breads: baguettes, ciabatta, sourdough, & olive bread. In addition to the sfogliatelle, they sell muffins, croissants, and focaccia and muffins. The sfogliatelle was pretty good, the pastry was crispy and flaky and the lemon ricotta filling was very rich and creamy. I would've loved to have a couple loaves of the bread, but there was no way I was going to be able to bring it home as I was already maxed out with my carry ons!

I've tried prosciutto and mozzarella sandwiches from different restaurants in the North End and Salumeria Italiana uses the best quality ingredients and taste the best. People will say that the other restaurants makes a much bigger prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich for only a few dollars more, but the other restaurants don't taste as good. Walking through the front door is like walking through a secret portal to Italy (I'm not kidding). The smells and sights of fresh meat hanging from the ceiling is what I imagine heaven to be like! I ordered the Italian sub. First of all, it is HUGE in both length and circumference. One sub can easily be split between two people. The bread-to-meat ratio is perfect. I could taste each individual ingredient with every bite, which is a unique experience that only happens when everything is fresh and flavorful as can be. I think this place just ruined subs for me because no other will come close to being THIS good. If I were on death row, this sandwich would be part of my last meal. I feel like I cannot adequately put into words just how amazing it is. Do yourself a favor and check this place out sooner than later! :)

As the name "Mercato" implies, it's not a restaurant, so no place to eat, no place to "do your business" after, and if you've made it to the north end, you already know there's no place to park. -- Italian Sandwich: Long, soft bread, kinda like the kind you had in your school cafeteria, only a million times softer, a million times more crackly, and a million times better. Setting the base are oil, balsamic vinegar, lettuce, tomato, pickles, hots, and provolone. Italian sandwiches usually come flat-stacked or in a C-shape. Here, it's a fluffy stack, with the VERY-thin-sliced-to-order meats-- prosciutto, mortadella, salami-- piled generously but delicately, like tissue paper. More oil and balsamic on the other side seals the deal. It's a glorious sandwich that'll fill you up with the first half, but you'll want to keep eating the second half, because it's so good. The deep flavors of the meats comes through, and that's soft, crunchy bread is a delight. Pro tip #1: Get it with a small side of pesto. Have some bites with, some bites without. Pro tip #2 (in more ways than one): Plan your restroom visit at the nearby Boston Public Market. Pro tip #3: Plan your eating near the Paul Revere statue on Hanover Street, at the basketball court down Stillman Street, or on the Greenway down Hanover Street.
