Absolutely the only place to go for proper wheel balancing! I called early this morning and was able to make appointment at 1:30 to bring my Twin Turbo Raptor powered 1966 F100 in for road force balancing. With 600+ hp at tire on a 56 yr old truck things have to be done right. No waiting when i got there they were able to start at my appointment time. Wonderful crew did a phenomenal job. Priced right for the amount of work on a very special vehicle and the custom made wheels. Even more impressive was on the way home when i hit highway speeds. All i can say is perfection. I did hand mount the tires myself as more than 1 competitor said not possible to add TPMS to old truck. Then recently was guided to Rim 1 for proper balancing. Huge roadtrip coming up next week and wanted it done right. I think they liked my truck too! read more

I was looking to put a leveling kit on my new 2020 4RUNNER and was suggested to use Rim1 from two Toyota dealerships, I called a spoke with Jim and told him what I was looking for and what I wanted I also checked a few other other places that where a little cheaper but when I asked about Recalibrating the sensors up front on the grill they seemed confused so for that reason I went with Rim1 to make sure everything was done right and everything done would also keep the Vehicle under warranty. I meet with Jim at Rim1 and his team had me in and out in 2 hours Wow, they then took my 4RUNNER to the Toyota dealership to have everything recalibrate ( about 45 min ) and everything turned out AWESOME. I went with a 3" in the front and 1.5 in the rear running 285/17r/17 I did a leveling kit not a lift kit. WOW, Super happy I had checked Craigslist and found Rim 1, I had no idea they a retail shop in an industrial area. South of University on 46th street about half way down on the left. Well worth the drive over there. Spoke with Zach about the ones he advertised on CL for F250 Super Duty, Pioneer 35 x 12.50 x 20's All Terrains I was looking for. We walked into the warehouse and there they were, as advertised. Everyone has these Mud Tires, just too noisy for me, wanted All terrains with a great tread design. I dropped off my rims (I already purchased last month )around noon, called me 2 hours later for pickup, paid what he had advertised, no BS, No add on 's , just what he advertised. I started checking around about who to have do the lift and wheels on my new Toyota Tacoma. I kept hearing about Rim 1. Two of the Toyota dealers I was talking to have them do all of their wheel and lift work and highly recommended them. I called and talked to Jim, one of the owners, and he was very friendly and helpful. I could tell he was a "detail guy" and wanted to make sure everything was done exactly right and to my satisfaction. He scheduled my installation appointment for two days out. When I dropped the truck off, Jim patiently took me all around his shop to show me what was going to be done and let me verify the wheels and tires. A while back, I bought a Jeep Wrangler from a dealership and had Rim1 do the lift kit. Once the lift was done, I got some new tires and wheels from Discount Tire, but was never told by Discount that I would need to do a re-alignment. Three thousand miles later, my front two tires were wearing down way too fast and I initially thought it was Rim1's fault for not making sure the alignment was correct after they installed my lift. It turns out that it was Discount's fault for not informing me that the new wheels were going to mess up the alignment. Jim and Wayne over at Rim1 gave me a brand new tire and re-aligned my Jeep without charging me a dime. There was no hesitation on their end - they just wanted to make sure that I was happy with the job that they did. Rim1 went above and beyond and took care of someone else's mistake, even when they had no obligation to do so. I would recommend anyone to them! read more

I won't let any other place touch my babies, period! If you are as serious about your whip and wheels as I am, do yourself a favor and skip the rest. Avoid every and all Llanteras. Don't even let a certified dealership mechanic touch your rims once they're on! In a pinch I went to another place to have something minor looked at because they are nowhere near where I live but I will drive all day next time if that's what it takes to get to Rim 1. Not only do they offer the sexiest rims I've personally ever seen and now own :) but the quality of both rims and tires is spectacular! But what the most important factor for me is that these guys know their craft in terms of not only the work itself but the selection customized to each and every vehicle. Made a deal for some rims over the phone. Was promised that they would be there til 5pm. Drove 22 miles in rush hour traffic only to find they left 30 minutes earlier to go hiking. Called the next day to try and arrange getting the rims delivered to me and they were not interested in spending time in traffic and such to make the deal happen. I guess its okay for a customer to waste time and money sitting in traffic to buy something only to find the business closed 50 minutes before the advertised closing time. This demonstrates a lack of integrity and honesty on their part. Will not waste any more time with this business. Had they simply called me and told me they were leaving early and worked with me to make other arrangements, I would not be writing this negative review. read more
