Either way I had to go to get my purchases. This Target is located in Windsor, there's a substantial parking lot. I was here on Black Friday weekend, surprisingly there weren't many shoppers. This is a much larger Target than the one I typically frequent in West Hartford. There's a Starbucks and a CVS inside. Some of the isles could've been a bit better organized and better stocked, but not bad. At the customer service counter I showed them my bar code and gave them my name. They also tested and verified various cables and equipment - in wall wiring can be notoriously temperamental - so the clarity here was much welcomed. They pretty much told me that its NOT their problem, I've have 2 statements with NO fee now this months statement has a statement fee. That was NOT in the agreement, I was suppose to have NO fees as long as I paid in full for 6 months. I have budgeted for 6 months and on my 3rd statement I have a statement fee. I was never told I would get a fee for having a statement and P.C. RICHARDS didn't want to help me. For a Family owned business they really don't care about their customers. I in the past bought a washer and dryer from them and knowing how important to me is to buy local and family owned, my next purchase of a Refrigerator and dishwasher or anything else will not be purchased there because they are not honest people and they do not care. In short, They run like a small business that cares about its customers. Our last two purchases had defects from the manufacturers. ! item was a Fisher & Paykel refrigerator where the water dispenser stopped functioning after one year. Shore TV got the manufacturer to replace the item with a new one and even threw in the $70 water filter replacement. The unit had been incorrectly insulated and evidently the water line was frozen by Fisher & Paykel running it too close to the freezer. The second item was a GE induction range. The unit was DOA on arrival as the oven kept shitting off. It was going to be several weeks to get a replacement and Shore TV had already removed our old stove. We would have been out of luck but Shore TV offered (and we took them up on it ) to provide a temporary replacement stove (electric and basic) until the part for the GE came it. While I skeptical that replacing a part on a new stove was not a great idea (I wanted a brand new one), Shore assured me the item would be correct when they got the part. It was . They were extremely accommodating by getting us a stove to use until the replacement part came in (3 weeks) . I am only concerned now because they have combined with a company called Hallocks and their Yelp rating is poor at best.

My CD's, which played with no issues…read morein other CD drives, were unplayable on my Bose device -- they would stop and start (or stop and not restart). The proprietor of JB Electronics, in less than 24 hours, thoroughly cleaned the CD drive and tested it without any help from Bose. Now it plays perfectly the same CD's on which it had been failing. Moreover, the service was relatively inexpensive -- about $75 (which certainly beats paying $600 or more for a new Bose device). The proprietor is semi-retired and works out of his basement. Don't let that fool you -- he knows what he is doing, and is perfectly honest and straightforward. I recommend his service without qualification.

Only needed the electrical connection, so JB hardwired it to the board, for 1/5 of what the TV cost, or buying new. Well worth it, and unconventional to the big box option of ordering a whole new board + labor cost, which is what "squad" told me was required. Go to this guy. He's much more practical! Now I've got tv back in perfect working order! Both my wallet and I are happy.
