I came here with my family for dinner on a Tuesday night. The six of us were squeezed into a booth probably meant for four people. I had one of the salads, which was good. The pizza was indistinguishable from a frozen pizza that you might be served in a school cafeteria. I would not recommend. 2.5 stars would be more accurate. read more

First review of an out-of-state pizzeria for me. Rikos! Went over to Ridgefield CT to visit some family, and we ended up stopping by Riko's. We were seated outside, and the outside looked very nice, with a good amount of tables and chairs, and umbrellas since it was a pretty warm day. We got our pizza very quick, and I ordered just a pepperoni pie just to try it out, my dad got a plain one with hot oil. They put it on a nice dish for us, and I was digging in. The slices were on the smaller size, because they were only giving personal pies that I knew of. it was very thin, almost reminded me of New Haven/Frank Pepe's a little but. The crust had a great crisp to it, and the amount of cheese could not be any better, it just had a great bite to it. The inside I did not see much, but they had a nice set up and they had College Football on the TVs which was GREAT. The hot oil, per my father gave a really good kick to an already great pie. (Shout-out to our server Delaney, who brought us our drinks faster than we could say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious) That's all for this one! Pizza rules! read more

While perhaps not as renown as a Sally's or Pepe's, Riko's is a still good option if your final destination or foodie-related travels won't take you as far up I-95 to the greater New Haven area for some of the State's more popular pizzerias. Riko's is thin crust pizza done right. read more

Good thing pizza! I loved the crushed tomatoes on the Margarita pizza but I find the cheese lacking in flavor and I didn't taste any teriyaki on the small chicken pieces! Our older son and I were driving back to the Hyatt Regency from Pelham when my wife called and asked us to bring pizza for her and our younger son back to the hotel, suggesting Riko's. We stopped in, ordered a pizza margarita and small Nashville hot chicken salad and used their mobile web site to order another margarita pizza and green salad pizza fort them. Food came pretty quickly, the salad was very satisfying. Our son left a slice of pizza for me and it was crisp and flavorful. All in all, a pretty seamless process with good food. Parking was easy, but we were there at an unpopular time. read more

A little difficult to find the entrance I will say walked over from the ShopRite side of the parking lot in the rain and the door on this end of the building was closed so had to walk around the other end. They did have a take out side door which was very nice to see. Seated very quickly in a clean booth server approached almost immediately providing the menu and walking through the options so another plus. I chose a beer from tap and a half stinger and full hot oil pizza and she came out beautiful. Definitely need a warning that those stingers are HOT but still devoured the entire pie. If you're into thin crust pizza or looking to try something new 10/10 would recommend atmosphere was nice as well as the food and the price! read more

Yes and no. The pizza is very inconsistent. I've had it ordered a few times, sometimes it's really good and tasty. Other times it's overcooked and barely any cheese at all. The service is really not great. The servers are really stern and strict but The takeout lady is usually nice. We had this ordered in before where it tasted like cardboard. So it's really hit or miss. I think if you pick UP the pizza on time and eats it quickly it's a 3.5 otherwise, not a fan fav. read more

This is more of a delivery review (and advice). Pizzas were good, but cold. When ordering for delivery, DO NOT include the tip on your card at the time of placing an order. We did, and the delivery woman left the pizzas on a neighbor's front porch floor (like an Amazon package), and left. Tipping with cash upon delivery will encourage the long forgotten pre-COVID business delivery etiquette. Tip amount should be based on performance (going that proverbial "extra mile" for a customer), not on the total cost of an order. Delivery people- The main purpose of the insulated pizza bags are to keep pizzas (especially thin crust) as warm as possible until delivered? I guess TECHNICALLY they were, but leaving them outside defeats the sole purpose of using the bag. The courtesy of a phone call to let us know it's been delivered would've been nice, and food a little warmer. read more

The cowboy caviar was good but lacked the kick I was expecting, especially since I thought it would have more jalapeño flavor. The broccoli was also softer than I prefer..I rather have it a bit crunchy instead of soft and mushy. The chicken portion was on the smaller side for me, and I was still hungry after finishing my bowl. Overall, it's a good spot if you're looking for a quick, fresh, healthier meal. I recently had the pleasure of ordering the hot oil pizza from Riko's in Stamford, CT, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Even as a delivery order, the hot oil pizza showcased Riko's commitment to quality and delivered a flavorful experience that surpassed the average. First and foremost, the hot oil pizza at Riko's packed a delightful punch of flavor. The combination of their signature spicy oil, cheese, and toppings created a harmonious blend that left my taste buds craving more. The heat from the oil was well-balanced and provided a satisfying kick without overpowering the other elements of the pizza. If you're a fan of spice, Riko's hot oil pizza is sure to leave you satisfied. The crust on the hot oil pizza was another standout feature. It had a perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness, which contributed to an enjoyable texture with every bite. The crust was sturdy enough to hold the toppings without becoming soggy, showcasing Riko's attention to detail and dedication to crafting a well-constructed pizza. Despite being a delivery order, the hot oil pizza arrived promptly and still maintained its heat. The packaging was secure, ensuring that the pizza arrived in excellent condition. The delivery service was efficient, which added to the overall positive experience. In terms of value, Riko's hot oil pizza stands above average. The flavorful combination of the spicy oil, quality cheese, and well-executed crust showcases the expertise of Riko's in delivering a memorable pizza. Whether you're dining in or opting for delivery, Riko's consistently delivers a satisfying hot oil pizza experience. To summarize, Riko's in Stamford, CT, receives a 4-star rating for their above-average hot oil pizza. The bold and balanced flavors, paired with a well-crafted crust, make for an enjoyable culinary experience. If you're in the mood for a deliciously spicy pizza, I highly recommend giving Riko's hot oil pizza a try, whether you dine in or have it delivered to your doorstep. read more

BEST gluten free pizza in town, hands down. And, of course the regular pizza is great too. The delivery is slow, so you have to allow for at least 50 min. But it is really close to Colony style pizza. read more

My wife and I were the targets of a hate crime in this restaurant. While we were waiting inside to…read morepick up our food, two visibly intoxicated men began shouting explicit homophobic slurs at us and making sexually vulgar comments towards us. We asked the restaurant staff for help. They did nothing. They didn't ask the men to leave. They didn't speak to them. They didn't even acknowledge that something was happening. Eventually, the men left the restaurant, but only to stand across the street, waiting for us to come out so they likely could continue threatening us, or worse. We called the police because we genuinely feared for our safety and needed help getting home safely. Let me be clear - a pizza place is not responsible for everything its customers do. But it is responsible for maintaining a safe environment inside its own store, and when something dangerous happens, to respond with care and urgency. This restaurant failed completely. When we spoke to the manager on the phone, his response was shocking. He was cold, dismissive, and repeatedly asked, "What am I supposed to do about it?" as if it wasn't his problem. He even referred to the incident as "an inconvenience." My pizza being cold is an inconvenience. Being harassed, threatened, and fearing for our safety because of who we are is not. It's a hate crime. And they stood by and watched it happen. This experience was traumatizing and dehumanizing. The total lack of responsibility from the staff and management only added to the harm. We're sharing this so others know what happened here, and so this restaurant understands that their inaction made them complicit.
