Fresh healthy and fast! Wish there was one closer to me. I would eat there all the time.

The food is extremely fresh and compartmentalized , the service members are very friendly and doesn't make you feel rushed they even make suggestions, it's very clean inside and out, I can't wait to eat outside in the summer they have tables and you can bring your puppy.

    VERY COLD Sweet potato hash
    Ali p.

I can not stand by my previous rating. It's frustrating to spend money for more things and they don't get included inside the omelette!! wtf!?! Then you give me VERY COLD Potatoes. First thing when an omelette is ordered you should ask if customer want potatoes or not. If they do, put them on the grill top asap. not at the end cuz how and who wants to eat cold potatoes? the topper was getting a crossaint for later and he asked if i want it heated. No please. leave it plain and whole. then he cuts it in half and i say i wanted it not cut. his response "oh". still wraps it and i have to ask for a new one. only to get home and it's been heated!!!!! i call to speak to the manager who as I am explaining he rudely interrupts me with "you have to understand we are so busy here we can't do what your asking"! what!?! I was the only customer in there. too busy? too busy making bad mistakes and having no responsibility in your rude badness. never again.

I was very excited to give this spot a try. Ordered an online delivery that was suppose to be delivered at 7:35am. At 8:00am i decide to call the restaurant and ask if my order was placed since i hadn't heard from anyone and the order was marked delivered on my app. I was told that they do not offer delivery i explained that i was charged a fee and would i get it back if i came to pick it up i was then told that delivery was through a third party and I'll just have to wait! I get a call back 20mins later from the owner that he'd deliver my order although it was a pickup order and i wasn't charged 5.99 for delivery or i can cancel. Received my now cold breakfast and watered ice coffee because the ice melted. At least i got some free cookies. I will say the owner did try to make it right. Unfortunately i didn't get to try the "Fresh of Co" lol

Mexican Caesar salad with blackened chicken thigh
    Soma M.

My husband and I are so happy that there is a healthy lunch or dinner option right around the corner from us. We've been waiting so long for them to open. I had the Mexican Caesar salad with blackened chicken thigh and it was great, down to the dressing and mix ins. The chicken was juicy and not dry at all, with some flavorful seasoning. They mixed the salad with dressing and all the mix ins and even asked how much dressing I'd like to go in it, which is a plus if you're health conscious or want a little more of it! Since it was the soft opening day, there were long lines which seemed intimidating at first, but they went by pretty quickly and efficiently. This place reminds me of sweetgreen or chopt. This is an overall great option for a quick lunch/dinner!

Enjoyed a delicious chicken wrap recently, was taken away. All of the flavors and ingredients made me feel as if I was doing something great for my body.. which I was.

Inside, the café is clean, inviting, and has a warm atmosphere that's perfect for grabbing a coffee or catching up with a friend. I ordered a large cold brew with vanilla syrup, and it was easily the highlight of my visit. Smooth, refreshing, and nicely balanced without being overly sweet. I would absolutely order it again. For food, I tried the Breakfast Burrito, although it's really closer to a Crunchwrap than a traditional burrito. It comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, peppers and onions, cheddar cheese, avocado mash, tater tots, and lima crema. On paper, it sounded like a home run. Unfortunately, the execution did not live up to the description. It ended up being extremely greasy, mushy, and surprisingly lacking flavor despite having so many ingredients. I kept expecting each bite to get better, but it never really did. It was one of those dishes that had a lot of potential but just missed the mark. My cold brew and breakfast came to $23.84 with tax, which felt a little expensive for a breakfast wrap and coffee. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee because it was excellent. As for the food, I'd probably try something different next time. If the kitchen can match the quality of the coffee, this place could be a real standout.

My…read moreserver was very polite and the free parking lot in back was easy but it was not my favorite diner experience of the year. Inside is fairly small but the tables are large and can host groups up to six per table. They do have a giant menu filled with all sorts of options, some of them are pretty crazy, especially the influencer section of the menu. I started off with a cup of the chili and wasn't a huge fan of it. It tasted more like the Cincinnati chili and had a large amount of oil. For my entrée, I chose the cheesesteak and was hoping it was going to be like a traditional Philly style, but it wasn't quite. I liked it more than the chili but still made me wish that I ordered a tuna melt or something else. I would give it a try again on a future visit but would want to try it again before I recommend.

Today was the first time we've eaten here in years. We were seated immediately but we waited more than 40 minutes for the food to come. We watched people leave because they could not wait for their food any longer. At first, I thought a chef must have called out. When our food finally came, I was forced to look at the most unappealing home fries that were molded to the plastic container they were stored in. At least try to make them look fresh bru. And the whole restaurant was cold. I was cold. The food was cold. This place should be called COLD Street Diner, am I right? And the coffee refill came like once. In the whole hour and a half we were there. The only times someone would walk by was to clear a table, or that guy idk who he is idk if he's the owner but he was wearing balenciaga sweatpants and then he would just go stand by the register to sip on some wine. My mother ordered the huevos rancheros and they were bland asl. I ordered the birria omelette and it was BLAND EVERYTHING WAS BLAND!!! The birria was just wet it didn't taste like anything bro. We haven't been to the Norwalk location but a lady sitting next to us noticed that we weren't happy with our food and she was speculating that all the good cooks got transferred there. Whether it's the cooks to blame, or the fact that it's a busy Saturday, it's safe to say we will not be coming back.

After doing a little research, I came across The Wheel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I made a reservation for Sunday brunch. Finding the entrance was a little confusing at first, and parking took a minute to figure out, but I eventually learned you can park for free at the Village next door, which made things much easier. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted and shown to the outdoor seating area. Walking through the restaurant, I was impressed by how beautiful the property is. It is incredibly spacious, sits right on the water, and even has an additional outdoor area next door where you can relax away from the restaurant. The views alone make this place worth visiting. Our server, Freddy, was fantastic. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and offer recommendations, which made the experience even better. Now onto the food. To start, we shared the Breakfast Pizza, topped with smoked bacon, crispy potatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella, two eggs, and fresh cracked black pepper. It was a fun twist on brunch and had great flavor. We also ordered the Shrimp and Grits, made with cheddar grits, wild caught shrimp, a poached egg, and chimichurri. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich looked outstanding. Made with organic Murray's chicken, hot honey, coleslaw, and dill pickles, it came with fries and disappeared quickly. For my entrée, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, featuring grilled hanger steak, two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and chimichurri. The steak had excellent flavor, although I ordered it medium and it came out closer to well done. It was my only real issue with the meal. We also tried a couple of cocktails. The Orange Crush was refreshing and perfect for brunch, while the bourbon, Aperol, peach, Earl Grey, and lemon cocktail was smooth, balanced, and equally enjoyable. Dessert was the perfect ending. The Take 5 Sundae with peanut butter crunch, pretzels, whipped cream, vanilla bean caramel, chocolate ice cream, and hot fudge was absolutely delicious. We also had the Tres Leches, topped with strawberries and vanilla whipped cream, which was light, moist, and a great way to finish the meal. Overall, everything we ordered was delicious. Aside from the slightly confusing entrance, parking, and my overcooked steak, the entire experience was outstanding. The waterfront setting, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and quality food make this one of the best brunch spots in Stamford. I will definitely be back. Next time I already have my eye on the Banana Buttermilk Bread, Village Breakfast, Braised Short Rib Hash, Wheel House Burger, Margherita Pizza, Smoked Salmon Pizza, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich for myself. For drinks, I want to try the Charred Citrus, One in a Melon, and the Orange Crush. And I definitely need to save room for the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake.

Favorite dish selections per voting of the table, were the brussel sprouts (~$20), calamari (~$20), and NY strip (~$50) specifically because of the tallow fried rice that laid underneath the steak! Although we enjoyed the quality and quantity of food, the service was quite slow. Our waitstaff didn't come by very often to take drink orders, refill water glasses, or follow up. It didn't seem too busy that evening, so we were a bit surprised. We stayed in the dining room on this trip, but hope to come back for a nice evening when the outside patio area is available.
