I love that this fresh&co is in close proximity to the Stamford Train station, which makes it easy to grab a bite on my way home. I got the falafel crunch bowl and it was good, but was a bit disappointed with the price. Seemed a bit on the higher end compared to similar fast casual places like Naya. My falafel bowl here was about $2 more. They also upcharge .75 cents for additional toppings. I will say, their hot bar foods did look tasty. Will probably return if I feel like splurging. read more

I had the pleasure of getting acquainted with Maria who conversed with me while I decided what to order. She was the perfect example of being able to connect with a customer, building that relationship for more visits to come. I ordered a PB Monster Smoothie which I loved. She told me that I can grab it from the shelf on the side and bring it over to her to prepare. That's actually pretty neat because I can grab the pre-prepped cup myself and even make it at home. The taste was exactly what I had been looking for in a peanut butter chocolate smoothie which I couldn't re-create or find elsewhere for at least 10 years now. All the ingredients are fresh. Even the bowls are custom to the way you like it. The establishment was very clean and had plants everywhere. I was able to admire the beautiful plants while there to sit, eat and drink. A few days late, but I figured I should put a review in here since I came all the way over to have something to eat here. So I had actually learned about this place due to an Elite Event that took place here. Now because I did not get my pass for the event, I had to come in as a regular customer. That said, I couldn't not go because by the time I decided to go I wasn't doing myself any good sitting at home and letting myself wilt away. I actually was going to come here on the Friday night but I was way too sleep-deprived and just not doing too well. Yeah, January for me hasn't gone as well as I would have liked. But let's get into the visit! The location is very convenient for commuters in the area. If you're arriving in Stamford for work, you can come by and get some breakfast on the go! It's also a nice, clean place for casual occasions, maybe even a first date. The fact it was so close to the train station is a huge plus in my book! Employees are nice there too. Helped me along as I was deciding what to order. Since I came in as a Plain Jane customer, I ended up grabbing their French Toast, adding in chocolate chips and bacon. Food's hot when you get it, but you have to wedge the chocolate chips in between slices for them to melt. All told, this is a pretty solid breakfast from them! I also grabbed up a double shot coffee, and for that they give you a cup with the espresso added in. The coffee you self-serve, and the same goes for milk and sugar. Mine needed whole milk and three sugars. That one tasted pretty good too. I think based on these first impressions, 4 stars sounds about right. I do think I would need to come back here to try more stuff before I can even think about giving them that fifth star. read more

First time there and it was good! Nothing too crazy, but seems reliable! A good spot for breakfast and lunch. I had the chicken shawarma bowl, my husband had a chicken buffalo wrap. We both liked our food just fine. The bowl was massive, so you definitely get every dollar's worth. If I get another bowl, I'd like ask for less wet ingredients as my bowl was somewhat drowning, but not the worst thing. Beautiful space and good prices. read more

The food is extremely fresh and compartmentalized , the service members are very friendly and doesn't make you feel rushed they even make suggestions, it's very clean inside and out, I can't wait to eat outside in the summer they have tables and you can bring your puppy. read more

I can not stand by my previous rating. It's frustrating to spend money for more things and they don't get included inside the omelette!! wtf!?! Then you give me VERY COLD Potatoes. First thing when an omelette is ordered you should ask if customer want potatoes or not. If they do, put them on the grill top asap. not at the end cuz how and who wants to eat cold potatoes? the topper was getting a crossaint for later and he asked if i want it heated. No please. leave it plain and whole. then he cuts it in half and i say i wanted it not cut. his response "oh". still wraps it and i have to ask for a new one. only to get home and it's been heated!!!!! i call to speak to the manager who as I am explaining he rudely interrupts me with "you have to understand we are so busy here we can't do what your asking"! what!?! I was very excited to give this spot a try. Ordered an online delivery that was suppose to be delivered at 7:35am. At 8:00am i decide to call the restaurant and ask if my order was placed since i hadn't heard from anyone and the order was marked delivered on my app. I was told that they do not offer delivery i explained that i was charged a fee and would i get it back if i came to pick it up i was then told that delivery was through a third party and I'll just have to wait! I get a call back 20mins later from the owner that he'd deliver my order although it was a pickup order and i wasn't charged 5.99 for delivery or i can cancel. Received my now cold breakfast and watered ice coffee because the ice melted. At least i got some free cookies. I will say the owner did try to make it right. My husband and I are so happy that there is a healthy lunch or dinner option right around the corner from us. We've been waiting so long for them to open. I had the Mexican Caesar salad with blackened chicken thigh and it was great, down to the dressing and mix ins. The chicken was juicy and not dry at all, with some flavorful seasoning. They mixed the salad with dressing and all the mix ins and even asked how much dressing I'd like to go in it, which is a plus if you're health conscious or want a little more of it! Since it was the soft opening day, there were long lines which seemed intimidating at first, but they went by pretty quickly and efficiently. This place reminds me of sweetgreen or chopt. I don't see how you can call it fresh & co when the sandwiches and wraps are premade on display instead of being made by hand to order. Plus the smoothie ingredients being out on display in a cup for a week with customers handing them to the employees to blend days later is questionable and just silly. read more

Ordered ahead so that I can pick up food and be able to eat during lunch hour. Came in at time promised and was told a few minutes. As I stood there watching people get their food and go I asked to check on my order in which was told a few minutes. I stood for half hour at restaurant this is on top of the 15 minute ordering ahead so now 45 minutes I have to ask again where is my food. Hence this is a salad nothing to cook! They find my order ticket and now have to rush to make it. I get my salad back to work and the "add-ons" I paid for are not with the salad. How did it take me so long to find this gem?! IT is indeed FRESH! Lots of began options, salads and bowls and everything is super fresh, made to order. Dressing are artisanal and inspired, not your run of the mill "chain". Cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. Some discrepancies between website & actual menu for online ordering but easily handled in the "special instructions" section. Staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We've tried ordering breakfast from Fresh & Co several times and each time the order has been very delayed and/or incorrect. Also, they seem severely understaffed in the mornings as the wait times are incredibly long. We were excited for this location given that we live upstairs, but unfortunately, we will not be ordering from here again. read more

For me, fresh in the name means fresh and made warm or to order. Don't get me wrong I understand staffing issues and busy times, but when it comes to breakfast reheated eggs can be truly awful. Starbucks/DD get away with a lot with a bad ingredient list but simple bold flavors that can you can still differentiate once rewarmed. I appreciate the fact that this is real food and that they're trying to cater to all meal options but I had the vegetarian breakfast wrap when it was made fresh versus, having it rewarmed and handed to me today and the quality in flavor differences was HUGE. I did call and ask and the manger said if they weren't busy they could make it to order if I ask, while also saying that this was to be the new standard for the pre made foods, going forward as of a few weeks back. That is super disappointing to me, because this wrap was barely rewarmed mush, because it had been sitting and not thoroughly warmed. If this is the standard for the food and deemed good enough, you won't find me returning for the price point when I could get a fresh warm breakfast wrap elsewhere. :( read more
