I don't know how I first found out about this place, but when I first heard of it my mind automatically went to a ghost kitchen specifically designed to cater to GrubHub or DoorDash. When I did some more research and found that it was not a ghost kitchen, and had it's own storefront, right next to Whole Foods in Greenwich I had to try it. I went yesterday and I didn't even see it from the front but if you round the corner there is an entrance in the back with a ton of more parking, much more than what you would get in the street. Just be warned if you park in the back there are stairs leading up to the restaurant so if you're in a wheelchair or have leg issues you might want to try your luck grabbing a space in front. Once up there I found the place to be very clean and the employee was very friendly. I ordered the "Hot Bird" sandwich along with a side of brussel sprouts to go. The sandwich itself was $11 and brussels were $8 so after everything it was around $20. Could it be a little on the higher side for some? Yea, possibly, but overall the sandwich is much higher quality and a lot bigger than what you would get at say Shake Shack which costs about the same for their chicken sandwiches. The brussel sprouts were very tasty and the sandwich was great, however they put a little too much red cabbage slaw on it than I was expecting, but now I know for next time to have them go lite on it. Overall this place is definitely a surprise and it's a spot I will definitely be back to. Oh and sorry for the bad quality on the photo, I tried not to be too obvious when taking pics in businesses like that.

While driving on Putnam Ave, passed this new little cafe and since I was hungry, decided to pull over and try this place out. This cafe has both outside and inside seating. Walking in I noticed there was a strong smell of food being cooked, more like smoke from cooking oil. The place has a display of bakery items upfront. There is a board with menu items which consists of wraps, sandwiches and snacks. I decided to try their BBQ bird and the Buffalo Bird sandwiches, which actually came in burger buns. If I was to pick from the two, the barbecue one was awesome for the side I also picked a chocolate chip cookie which was really good. The prices are kind of steep but for that area they are appropriate. This is a good addition to the Greenwich vibe Which lack such cafes

I have been here twice and love it! It's all about the chicken. They air fry it so no guilt! What could be better than that! I really like the variety of burgers they have. The salads are good too. I like the freshness and ingredients. Healthy and satisfying. The coffee is not my favorite. The service is great. The owner is hands on and friendly. It's gets busy during lunch yet they are all still smiling! The inside has some bar type seating around the perimeter and it's nice to people watch at the window. There are a couple of tables inside and out. We ate outside in the summer and it was really nice.

I really hate to give a bad review but i feel compelled to, as someone who makes most of my restaurant choices based on Yelp reviews. I walked into the store to order takeout yesterday. When I got home, I forced myself to take three bites of this sandwich and threw the rest in the trash. The chicken was DRENCHED in sauce and the sauce wasn't even good. Neither was the piece of chicken itself. I also ordered waffle fries - ate a few of them the second I got into my car and they were soggy and not hot. Was hoping to snack on them on my way home because I was starving. Seemed like they'd been sitting around for a while. $18+ dollars down the drain. Sorry, Freebird! I won't be revisiting :(

It feels hidden in the sense that you could drive right past it and miss it, but once you find it, it is absolutely worth it. There is parking out front which is a plus. Inside, it is exactly what you would expect from a classic mom and pop Italian deli. Small, warm, welcoming, decently lit, and clean. They also have a huge menu with tons of options, not even counting everything available at the deli counter. I took my time looking over the menu and the staff was patient while I decided. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese with black pepper on a wedge and a bacon, egg, and cheese lightly toasted on white bread. The wedge was the highlight. Big portion, very filling, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. It was cooked and put together really well. My only small critique is that the bread was very soft and the eggs were falling out a bit, but I also did not ask for it toasted so that may be on me. The bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread was good as well. The only downside was that it was very lightly toasted, almost not toasted at all, and it used bacon pieces instead of strips. Overall, this is an excellent local deli with quality food, generous portions, and a welcoming feel. I would definitely recommend stopping by, and I will absolutely be back.

And I reasoned that if I could keep the tab under $100, I would somehow walk away with the upper hand, assuming of course that the food was epic i'd say half the menu is fairly straightforward renditions of the classic originals - matzoh ball soup, pastrami, pelmeni - and half are what can be thought of as chef- driven elevated immigrant food - eg pastrami donut with baked been essence. my goal here today is to see how they deliver the classics. here we go: matzoh ball soup - 4.2 out of 5. great matzoh ball flavor and texture, delicious broth pelmeni - 2.5 out of 5. Just can't see anyone seeking these out except for nostalgia purposes and they just had literally nothing to say. pass. fried potatoes - 4.3 out of 5. unique. expertly cut and double fried. Dill in the background. Just awesome and worth the health indulgence grilled hot dog - 5+ out of 5. Home run. I would return for this. And this handsome dog was the most modestly priced of everything, a steal at just $12. Made in house, awesome depth of flavor, fantastic bun, great sauerkraut. this really is the gold standard.

My all time faves are the home fries and french fries... seriously the best around. i could eat them all day every day. They don't even need a condiment they're that good. i wish their salads came with more dressing, ever since getting the one in the pic attached i always ask for extra dressing bc one little container is definitely not enough. Other than that their sandwhiches (breakfast and lunch) are sooo yummy. i've also gotten a chocolate croissant too that was wonderful! For coffee/latte's they do have dairy free milk options which is always a plus. There's also plenty of snacks to choose from whether it's diff types/flavors of chips, chocolate/candy, yogurt, fruit cup, salads from the deli like potato/macaroni, or a baked goodie. Some reviews previously complained about price... if you go to their website you'll see how inexpensive they really are. Especially for this area!

Two warnings: 1) there are only a couple of street parking spaces that aren't 15 minutes M-Sat and there are threats of towing if you part in the very large and mostly empty lot behind the deli. 2) The bathroom door doesn't lock. Station a guard outside it if you don't want company. We would stop by again driving through the area (if it's a Sunday and we can find parking).
