We had a morning to explore Greenwich and this was the first coffee spot we saw, so we decided to check it out. It is truly adorable in here, very rustic and cozy. We waited for about 10 minutes before someone took our order, which was a little frustrating because there were a lot of employees working, but it was like they were all too busy to take our order. It was also strange because there was no one else in line! Eventually someone did take our order. I went with an iced latte and an almond croissant. Both were good! The drink was little for what you pay for, and the croissant looks better than it tastes. Like I said, both were good, but I was sort of expecting more.

The atmosphere was nice however I was not a fan on the quiche. I thought it was a bit bland however, i did love their raspberry pound cake slice. Also the chocolate cookie tasted like home

Cozy new coffee spot with a warm, charming vibe. Tried the lavender hot chocolate and honey lavender latte--both were unique and delicious. Great breakfast menu too. Perfect place for a relaxed morning.

The atmosphere is inviting with the pops of greenery and rustic furniture. The servers are very friendly and polite. The espresso is smooth and has a medium roast with a nutty flavor. I'd come again for the coffee. There are lots of beverage and food options to choose from, which is almost overwhelming, but nice to have. The calories are listed for every item, which is good for those mindful of their calorie intake but easily could deter someone from choosing something that would appeal to your taste due to the high calories. Some food can be made gluten free. The omelette, wilde salad, squash salad, papa's breakfast bowl granola parfait, and oats are naturally gluten free without request. Desserts are not gluten free friendly. My partner had the tartine au saumon (can be made gf upon request and additional charge) and felt it was super flavorful, fresh, and filling. Make note: Mon-Fri you need to order at the counter and if you purchase a meal, it will be served at your table. Sat-Sun has standard dining service at the table.

Nestled on Greenwich Ave, this aesthetic cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere. From the interior wood design, to the various pastries and drinks to choose from, it's worth a visit. Service was friendly and fast. Would recommend stopping by.

Stopped by maman on a busy Saturday afternoon and had a very pleasant experience. It gets pretty crowded but I was lucky enough to grab a seat. They have an array of different pastries to select from as well as some breakfast items. I opted for a breakfast bowl which was very filling and tasty! I also enjoyed their pastries. Overall, really lovely place to stop by and enjoy.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, took a bite into it and realized they gave me completely raw bacon. It was not cooked and the fat was slimy and limp, definitely not crispy. You can get very sick from eating raw or undercooked pork. Will not go back.

This is a pleasant addition to the cafe scene on Greenwich Ave, which I feel has always been lacking in the cafe departmemt. The place is pretty large with wooden chairs and tables inside and a few small tables outside with cute little umbrellas. They offer coffee, tea, desserts and a nice selection of food items. This is part of a chain so you will also see some cookbooks by Maman there too. I tried their nutty chocolate chip cookie to start with and it was pretty dense in flavor and filling. They carry tea by Sloane, which was very nice as well. The food items looked appealing too, but will come back to try them. Glad they opened here and provided us more options to sip on coffee and tea while strolling through Greenwich Ave.

The newest hidden gem in Greenwich, CT! Maman just opened up their brand new location in Greenwich, CT! We got to visit on their opening day to try out their decadent desserts and pastries, along with the refreshing coffees and teas! We got to try the s'mores cookie pistachio chocolate croissant, pain au chocolat a mango passion fruit croissant, and an almond croissant. For our drinks, we got the honey lavender hot chocolate and an iced Matcha latte with pistachio milk. The vibes were so aesthetic and immaculate, and the plating reminded me of my own plates @thegreeneyedmama (instagram) The service was great! Definitely going back.

The lavander blueberry was delicious! The kouign-amann was hard to cut and bit sticky. It was alright though

This location is very clean, modern and fresh decor/style all in one. They have friendly staff especially the older guy who went out of his way to make my visit a rememberable one. I had the deluxe breakfast sandwich. The sausage was terrible: tasteless, egg was that foamy egg beater stuff, and the cheese was basically velveeta, and they microwaved it so the croissant was a soggy mess. It had no flavor at all (look at my photo) and looked like a used diaper. My wife had the avocado toast which used plastic bag guac and also had no flavor. And to top it off: no plates at all, we were expected to eat from an aluminum foil wrap and a cardboard box. We also had a cappuccino and a lavender cold brew. The former was milky beyond belief, couldn't taste the espresso, and served too hot; the latter was incredibly sweet. We threw them both out. Again, skip this place. It's horrible. Clearly they're cutting costs by serving low quality repeatable food in easy cheap packaging. They don't respect their customers.

Since it was around lunch time, I thought I would browse the Avenue to see if I could grab a bite. It was a short search since Le Pain Quotidien was right down the block - and since I'm a fan of the brand I thought it would be the ideal place to go. Le Pain is a fast-casual chain that serves soups, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods. The best way to describe the workflow is to compare it to Panera, though Le Pain has better aesthetics, offers better food, and has table service if you choose to dine in (okay so maybe it's not appropriate to compare it to Panera). Decor is nice - it's semi-upscale without being stuffy, totally accessible to the casual shopper on the Greenwich Ave. Anyway, I was dining in so I had a seat and started browsing the menu. I didn't want anything too heavy, and the mozzarella melt looked perfect. This was kind of like a big crostini topped with cherry tomatoes, arugula, chicken, and mozzarella. The dish was great, all the ingredients were fresh and complemented each other well. It was also the perfect lunch size - I felt satisfied but not stuffed. Service was good, everyone was really friendly. Overall, I had a great experience at this Le Pain - the food is good, the employees are friendly, and this is an ideal place to stop in for a quick meal. I would definitely return for another meal (and some baked goods) if I'm ever in the area again.

The trio and their families all live in Greenwich. Collectively, they were all sick of taking their families out to dinner and the bill adding up to hundreds of dollars. They also realized that Greenwich was one of the few towns in Connecticut that didn't have a brewery. The business partners made it their mission to open their own family-friendly brewpub where consumers could get good craft beer as well as quality food that didn't break the bank. When a space previously home to LobsterCraft became available, the partners jumped at the chance to move in. I recently visited Greenwich Brewing Company for the first time. I was heading to a concert nearby, so I thought I would stop in a grab some beers and bites for a pre-show dinner. I noticed right away that GBC has a nautical theme. The logo features an anchor, and the entrance wall features the name of the brewpub spelled out in nautical flags. The place is a little on the smaller side, cozy and inviting; there's seating for about 52 customers. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the menu. Some of the staff informed me that they were celebrating their one-year anniversary and had some menu specials. To drink, I ordered a sampler flight that featured "Day Sailing" (Strawberry Lemonade Sour), "Oktoberfest" (Märzen), "Hop Anchor" (New England IPA), and "Catamaranic" (Hazy Double IPA). My favorite of the flight was the Oktoberfest, and I ordered a full pour afterwards. I also noticed that there were no beer tanks anywhere to be found on the premises. A staff member informed me that all beer is currently brewed off-site. They hope to move to a larger location in the future where brewing can be done in-house. Overall, GBC's beer is ok. It's their food menu, however, where they really shine. I first started off with some delicious "Toasted Pretzel Logs" (w/ Cardinal Red beer cheese sauce & stone ground mustard). Then I finished with the "Hot Honey Chicken" (2 tenders, hot honey drizzle, shredded mustard slaw, pimento cheese, on a roll, served w/ fries). It was phenomenal! My only complaint was that the bun was a little too small; it was no match for those massive tenders. I ended up eating most of it with a knife and fork as it fell apart. That aside, it was a delicious sandwich! If you're looking for an affordable, family-friendly place in Greenwich to grab some good beers and bites, then head to GBC!
