I found the pizza OK to be honest I've had better in Stamford. I found the pizza having a little too much oil and cheese to my liking.

Hands down best New York style pizza in the area. Stamford is flooded with bar pizza and wood fired, so finding a New York style pizza place is so hard. The pizzas and other menu items are so fairly priced. They are so quick to fill the order. Great Sicilian and plain pie. Mozzarella sticks are also so good, not like normal frozen ones. A few years ago I would tell everyone that Belltown was my favorite pizza spot in Stamford. Today, not only am I disappointed in the service, but also the quality. The pizza boxes were left on the GROUND outside my apartment complex. We didn't get a phone call or message of any kind to be let in or to confirm delivery. The crust was thin & burnt and the cheese was a pool of grease. I have to accept the truth that Belltown just isn't what it used to be. read more

Hi, just had a chefs salad, a good portion of pasta Fuji, Oli, soup which is the best Fuji Oli soup I've ever had. Their sauce is excellent and their pizza is good but average.I usually order meatballs and a sausage or two, which is OK a little hard sometimes. I get it all al cart in the sauce and I ad my own spaghetti or not. No ambience, I usually pick up my order. So to finalize this little review, meatballs and sauce and soup are the best. From the pizzas, to the pasta, and chicken scarp, This place does it all. Been going here for many years and can always say I had a great meal. Great old school pizzeria. The woman behind the counter had such an unprofessional attitude. I asked her if debit cards are accepted (no logo of MasterCard or Visa etc. were posted on the door like other businesses do, & having no cash on me I needed to know before placing an order). She wears glasses, shoulder length brown hair. It wasn't until I sat down that I saw the signs on the side of the soda refrigerator. Had I confronted her on her rudeness, she would likely have messed with my food. Even if the signs were posted in an upfront, clearly noticeable spot & I asked her, I'm a customer. I had a slice of pizza for lunch, and its exactly what I wanted. Cheezy, thin crust, pepperoni and greasy to perfection. If your gonna have pizza, there has to be some type of grease stain on the plate or your shirt. I have not had pizza this tasty in a very long time. I ALWAYS order from Beltown and always have something good to say about their food! Tonight I tried to place and order and got hung up on when I tried to pay with my debit card, I called back and asked if I can pay with my debit card now because I wasn't the one going to pick it up... SHE said "I do not have time to take your debit card number down" in the RUDEST way. I didn't appreciate this tone at all. I cancelled my order due to this poor service and disgusting tone. As a worker you really shouldn't speak to your costumers like this nor hang up on them when they are still speaking to you. I will never order from them again. I am truly so disappointed. read more

Love this New York style doughy crust pizza. Doesn't completely flop down with a lot of toppings. Their meatballs are sliced Italian meatballs, not ground beef crumbles. They use raw red onion & fresh mushrooms. These make the pizza for me. The woman behind the counter can be rude. Is there a new owner? I just picked up and my order was a total disaster! The pizza slices never went into the oven. They were chilled!! I had to heat up my oven to cook them. I ordered a cheese salad for my kids and my salad was someone else's! Chicken and olives, no dressing. The pizza didn't taste anything like it has in the past. I think their small pizzas taste better then their larger pizzas. Their salads are, like another user stated, typical pizza joint salads, but the pasta is where it's at. The sauce is not watery and the portions are not overwhelming, and they're priced pretty well. I usually just get take out, but I've found it to be consistently good, quick, and the staff are always nice when I walk in. I'd recommend it over many of the other area pizza places. read more

Salads are typical pizza joint salads: lots of iceberg lettuce (crispy and fresh) and very vinegary dressing. All in all, one of Stamford's better pizza choices.
