I had a painting which needed a good frame to match with the paint and all the other things I have at home. There were plenty of choices there but it wasn't easy to pick "the one" that would do it. Jeff, patiently showed me different things and gave me suggestions. He knew at once what will really work best for the picture. I did trust on his judgment and his impeccable work done carefully and right on the promised time. The result was even better than I expected. I am very happy with the result and the whole experience of it. I returned, and once again I was very pleased with his work. This time I had a simple poster that I wanted to mount without a frame. It needed to match other paintings nearby. Jeff suggested that we mount the poster on masonite. It worked great! One can tell that he not only knows very well what he is doing but also that he has a sense of quick understanding of the needs of the client. He is a very patient, friendly and has the passion and care of a real artist. Thank you Jeff for your good and professional work! Yes, I do recommend him again and again!

Such a beautiful place to have lunch, we brought it from Green Lotus in San Jose, and then got to enjoy the garden area as well as looking at all the art fixtures on the property! The blown glass was beautifully and eloquently designed, but all of the pieces were at least $50 at starting. It was nice to see a 15 minute demonstration of how much detail And how much thoughtfulness goes into creating a pumpkin blown glass project, I really want to sign up for classes now!

I asked the employee at the counter, who was blowing up balloons, if there was anyone else working who could help me. He replied, "lots." Yet he was unwilling to actually help and instead just pointed me toward random aisles, none of which had anything to do with what I was looking for. When I asked if one of the "lots" of other employees could assist me, he responded that "they're all on break." I've shopped at this location before and have never had such a disappointing customer-service experience. Group discounts are available for groups larger than 12. Before the workshop everybody got to pick the design they wanted to do as well as the type of backing/framing (coaster, wall hanging, or mirror) they wanted. The person leading the workshop was amazing, very patient and friendly. The workshop was roughly 20 minutes of tutorial, 1 hour of tufting with the gun (varied widely person to person), and then 1 hour for everyone to glue and trim and clean their rugs. I was surprised at how well our final pieces turned out considering none of us had ever rug tufted before. At the end we also each got a cute free tote bag to hold our creations. Online customer service suggests buying it full retail online, then chatting with them AGAIN abou tthe price discrepency and they would "see what they could do". Are you kidding me? Where has customer service gone? Why couldn't the manager come out and talk to me at the store? Why couldn't the ONLINE customer service price adjust or coupon it for that one transaction or something? Apparently management and online customer service is gone at Michaels.
