This is a vintage looking gift shop located in the downtown of Los Altos . It is filled with holiday items now and very festival style with stuffed animals, desk top decorations, light up home decorations, a few old fashioned looking TV and when it lights up , it is a moving musical box with street scene in cold winter . Many cute cards and home decorations. Prices are reasonable. The lady will give you free gift wraps for either birthday or Christmas . We bought a Christmas photo frame ,a desk Decoration with a cute mouse and the candle lights , plus a soft bear which is a " warmies" that you can microwave for headache . They recently relocated the store to Main Street from State Street. This is a gift store with very nice quality items.

This store has great gifts and the owner is very helpful and friendly! They will wrap it for you which is very helpful. They have everything to greeting cards,wrapping paper, Thanksgiving and Christmas presents oh and baby gifts. I love that the prices aren't bad either. read more

Unfriendly and Rude! No greeting, no smile but a glare. Despite this and thinking "maybe if I make a purchase, they will warm up", I purchased a $45 candle. Still no smile. Just rang it up without saying a word. Who does that? I had to ask if they can wrap it in a bag to which she retorted, "I will!" in an annoyed tone. OMG so sorry to inconvenience you. Handed me the bag without so much as a "have a nice day", "thank you for your business". Nothing. This place oozes white lady energy. It's too bad. I love to support local women-owned businesses but they could not have made me feel any worse about my purchase. I'd avoid this place as there are better options out there. My inclination right now is to return the item and get something else, anything else. It's not special anyways. read more

Downtown Los Altos is so charming and underrated. I walked into this gift shop because I saw hats inside. I bought a hat in a neutral grayish white color with a wide brim made by the Wallaroo Hat Company in Denver. A bit spendy at fifty bucks for a hat made of polyester, however really a very good deal considering all the tiny brown moles that keep sprouting on my neck and shoulders (hopefully not cancerous). I'd much rather buy three or four really wide brimmed hats than get skin cancer. read more

super rude staff, always getting glared at when I just want to browse their selection of nice items. when i ask for a price of an item thats not obvious, instead of a simple direct answer i get a passive aggressive response that feels like an attempt in making me feel stupid for even asking. as a result of the unwelcoming behavior i left the store as i decided i would buy that item somewhere else and noticed the staff staring at me from the window. i will not be returning as the staff are terribly rude and unwelcoming. read more

This is yet another wonderful business in Los Altos that I can't get enough of. The staff are so friendly and available to answer questions, find what you are looking for. They sell jewelry and nice homey gifts for friends and family. Every time I visit Northern California I just have to visit this store. I went over here about a week ago to find earrings for myself (yes I admit it a terrible shopaholic) had my 3 year old granddaughter with me who also wanted earrings. Alas I had to inform the little missy she did not have the required holes in her ears to which she replied immediately with "but I have ears". On a recent trip, I saw a girl on the airplane with an adorable laptop bag. I asked her where she got it, and she said it was a Vera Bradley, but she got it at a boutique in LA. Deflated because I couldn't get a cute laptop bag in my vicinity, I went back to work the next day in Los Altos. Fortunately, by chance I saw a giant ~Vera Bradley~ sign in Cranberry Scoop while walking downtown! And to my delight, there was a whole wall of adorable handbags, purses, and travel bags! Unfortunately, I felt like I was under surveillance the entire time I was in the store. I wasn't greeted (other customers were) when I came in, any time I reached for an item I could feel hawk eyes on me, and the "Can I help you with that?" I finally received was more accusatory than courteous. It doesn't quite make me want to patron the store. So, we'll see who wins this battle: my absolute hatred of being treated like a possible criminal or my absolute love for cute prints and fabrics on handbags. read more

Another place i stopped in while wandering around downtown Los Altos on Saturday afternoon. They sell a variety of cute, somewhat kitschy, and unique items. Lots of cards, stationary, seasonal decorations,plaques,magnets, small trinkets,etc. This seems like the perfect place to find a great little gift when you're unsure of what to buy, or just want to give someone a little something. Prices are reasonable, and I don't think they're any higher because of the location. I ended up buying some adorable magnets. I love this store! They have the cutest gifts and sell the Pandora bead line, which is hard to find in this area. The pricing is okay- not too expensive, but the sales are pretty fantastic. Go in a few days after any major holiday for some excellent savings. The staff is really friendly, too. They get bonus points for their wide range of panoramic sugar eggs this Easter!
