It's your standard Chinese take out place but everything is great. We get the house fried rice probably twice a month along with a new dish every time and haven't been disappointed. I'm not looking for "authentic" Chinese food when I'm paying maybe $7 a dish so not sure what the other reviews going on about that are thinking. They're super fast and always polite and include free pot stickers once you order over a certain amount. read more

I ordered the mongolian beef lunch. The menu said that it comes with ham fried rice and 2 dumplings. The Mongolian beef was tasty and had the right amount of spice. The dumplings were fried and ok too...but the "ham" fried rice was horrible. It had no flavor and I got two tiny, cubes of ham that tastes like a hot dog. Yuck read more

Rice wok was very tasty and yummy chinese food! i especially loved the chow main noodles very thick and flavorful! we decided to call and have it delivered to our house. on the phone they told us it would take 45 min. it ended up being about an hour and 10 min. Quality food does take awhile to prepare and deliver I understand I just wish we had notice that it was going to be a little later. But the food was very good I will be back for more!!! read more

Excellent cheap take out Chinese food. Try the Mongolian beef, Kung pao chicken or the pon pon chicken. You won't be disappointed.

We usually eat here at least 3-4 times a month since they are close and usually really tasty. However tonights experience may change that. Called to place an order, and was "put on hold".....meaning the phone was laid on the counter and I listened to the counter person take 5 separate walk in orders while I waited....and waited.....and waited. I yelled, I beeped, I screamed for attention. Nothing. I called back, and was "put on hold" again even when I tried to tell them NO but I wasnt fast enough. I listened to them take two more walk in orders before I just gave up and hung up. I'll eat dry cereal before I'll call them again. Update: Called and ordered from another local place with no issues. Called back on a lark to see what would happen, was asked to be placed on hold...told them no. Had the nerve to tell me that there are others that have called in BEFORE ME that he needed to take first. Explained I had tried TWICE to order before THEM and was forgotten about on the counter. Said he would take my order then......and now the wait is over two hours. I declined. I understand tonight is busy, and I was willing to wait the ONE HOUR I was given when I first called, but to be left hanging not once but twice, and then have an extra hour tacked onto my wait because of their failing? I love going to Rice Wok, they're always incredibly fast and their food is always good! I love ordering their Orange Chicken and Sweet n Sour Chicken, so much flavor packed into every bite! Even the rice is good as a standalone item, just make sure and eat it while it's nice and warm, I've noticed it loses its flavor and nice texture if you refrigerate it and warm it back up. All in all its a great place to grab a quick bite of Chinese food and the owners/employees are always very friendly! read more

Underwhelming. The food was monochromatic (all pale brown), and didn't represent the decription of the food. My sesame chicken was beyond bland, and left me with a greasy stomach ache. I am sorry but when I comes to inexpensive Chinese take out this place is bomb. I have been ordering from here for years and it is EXACTLY what you would expect from a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. It has a tiny near 2-3 tables with bar on wall seating on either side and a counter to order at. Don't plan on eating here, do the take out. And call in you order ahead of time as they are busy busy busy. The immediate local area knows how good they are and I never see them slow. Again, best Chinese takeout for the price in the area. Ordered delivery from here and didn't get one meal that was ordered. We even had to have it delivered, as where I work is too far away to drive, order food, and drive back. Special Won Ton Soup - Be prepared for every type of meat you may (or may not) want in this soup. Shrimp, pork, chicken, beef. The broth tasted fishy and I couldn't figure it out until I found the shrimp in the soup. Your other option for won ton soup is a BBQ won ton soup so neither one will satisfy a simple won ton soup craving. Orange Chicken - sauce was good and flavorful but the chicken used was sub-par. I had chewy bits and bones. Not appetizing. Mongolian Beef - Decent but not the best I've ever had. Two types of beef (?) - long strips and flat square-ish pieces. I wasn't sure what was supposed to come with it. More peppers and onions than beef and for $8, I wish there was more beef. Pork Fried Rice & Pot Stickers - I'll lump these two together because it was all I really ate. Pork Fried Rice was really good - chunks of pork and veggies. Good flavor. Pot stickers were just like I remember getting them from my favorite Chinese place in NY. Good crisp exterior, flavorful filling and that sauce :) Our container of sauce spilled open on our way home but I wouldn't complain about that, it made them even better. All in all - it was okay, but did not satisfy my expectations or what I wanted. Still searching for a good Chinese restaurant in Utah county. This was impressively bad. Went here with my brother. He got the Mongolian Beef. He ate about 4 bites and threw the rest in the trash. Spat out the pot sticker. I got the General Tsao's Chicken. It was sweet and sour chicken with peppers added to it. I got about 6 bites before throwing it away. I was also able to choke down the pot sticker, but it took some effort. I don't even know what was wrong with the rice but it wasn't good. I also got an order of the wontons, they were simply okay. I write this review with a growling stomach that I'm sure was caused by the food. I will not be back. read more

Aw, man, this was really great Chinese food! We had a larger party for this small venue, but the food came out quickly and freshly cooked. The service was with a smile and a wave, too. Each of us had a deferent dish, and all commented on how tasty it was, even those who said they normally don't go for Asian food. The ham fried rice, which came with the combo plates was the perfect consistently, not overtone a and not underdone. I had cashew chicken, which was loaded with both cashew and chicken. This place may have good food, but their customer service is atrocious. I will be telling everyone I know never to go here, or order to-go or delivery. My office placed an order for a team lunch. We wanted delivery. There was a mix-up with the address of the delivery and the driver was one street away from our office. (Less than 0.25miles) When the food arrived we apologized for any inconvenience and tipped well. We ordered three items. 2 appetizers, cream cheese wontons and potstickers, as well as a sesame chicken entree. The appetizers were very tasty and the delivery was quick and polite. The entree on the other hand, was sorely disappointing. When I expected chicken completely covered sweet sauce with sesame seeds sprinkled on top, We instead received something much unlike sesame chicken and more like a rubbery and soggy piece of chicken with a sprinkling of of sub-par sauce and covered in sesame seeds. It was essentially like eating lightly flavored rubber. While I did enjoy the appetizers, the entree was not good. Hopefully they have better entrees than this. I would not order again. read more

Extremely poor customer service. First thing I said when I walked in the door was, "I know what I want, orange chicken!". Both my dining companions & another customer heard it. However, what the lady taking the order heard was me telling my mother she did NOT want the spicy kung pow vegetables. Which is what she gave me. I took it in right away & explained the mistake, and she repeatedly insisted that she had heard correctly, even when the others confirmed they had heard my earlier order. The food that we did receive was mediocre and the setting was terrible--sweltering hot inside and no shade out. Poor in comparison to the sushi bar next door. I will certainly not be going back! I suggest the Chinese buffet across the way, all you can eat and good (though more Americanized) food! read more
