little hidden gem in the energy corridor area! Came here on a monday during lunch time with some co workers and they all liked their order which was a bibimbap and fried rice lunch bowl. I ordered the Black Bean Noodles with Tofu and it also came with mushrooms. Very flavorful! also got the Mozerella + Sausage Potato coated corn dog and it had a nice cheese pull. Good amount of seating and easy parking within the lot. would come back again!

I was excited to try this place and stopped in one Saturday evening. It wasn't packed but I feel like it will be once more people find out they're here. I decided on the bokumyun with bulgolgi beef and at the recommendation of the owner I also got kimbap with grilled chicken. I absolutely loved the bokyumyun! The noodles were springy, beef tender and they accommodated my dietary restrictions. The kimbap I probably won't try again. The chicken was good and tender but it was piping hot so the seaweed kind of melted into the rice. Both were huge portions and worth the price. A customer also waiting for her corn dogs told me they have the best in Houston so I'll need to try that next time!

The bibimpap is so good!!! The veggies are fresh and tasty and the bulgogi is super flavorful.

I am so happy this place is here. I work in the area and have gotten food from Rice n mix several times. The food is always super fresh and tastes like mom's cooking. The place is immaculately clean. Chris in the front is very detailed (One time I asked my co-worker to get lunch for me and he noticed she had my credit card). If you want fast, fresh Korean home cooking, this is the place. Highly recommend!!

    Delicious kimbab!

Great service, friendly staff and really filling food. It's yummy and I love that it feels like a nice home cooked meal. I got their bibimbap with tofu, I love the huge platter size, it justifies the cost. It's super yummy. The k hot dog is delicious too. I got ramen topping and it's crunchy, I like it. They have sugar on the front counter if you like to coat your corn dog in sugar and condiments on a separate counter with forks, spoons, and napkins.

Place looks ok inside. Outside looked a bit more tempting that I decided to forgo my boba and get a salty snack instead of the sweet stuff I would get from Muse Tea next door. I was wanting something that's easy to snack or munch on while I drive...but the guy ringing me up said his favorite was the black bean noodle thing...so I had to order that with Bulgogi as the protein. Food is tasty. Reminds me of the instant pack of Chappaghetti bulgogi meat is ok with the usual sweet flavor or bulgogi/ teriyaki (I can't really tell much of those 2 sauces being different). Egg is good. Something is missing to me for it being at this price point. Maybe add some veggies at least to balance things out? Like add in some sliced up raw cucumbers or carrots or something so it's not just all brown looking. Would I come back for this dish as is? Eh probably not. A half portion of half the price may also be a good idea. Fluff it up with some lettuce or sliced cucumbers too. That shouldn't bring cost up too much. It would be better with some crunchy fresh veggies in here. Makes it taste less like packaged noodles I can make at home. To make this better I'd put in pre-washed spinach but the store only had prewashed carrots so that was the only option at the moment. Was hoping to be lazy and not have to do extra work...that's the point of eating out lol

Bibimbap - bulgogi and side of kimchi

Ordered through Uber eats, food came right through n tight. Food was fresh, great amount, and beautiful presentation. I had a craving bougogi and kimchi, this place did not disappoint taste as good as it looks!

This location in spring…read morebranch is their original, and I grew up coming here for lunch every sunday after church. 1) Jjajangmyeon: My brother loves getting this one. It is sweet and a bit soupy from all the sauce. The noodles are chewy and bouncy, and get coated in the sauce nicely. There is a good amount of meat that comes with it too! The flavors are great. 2) Jaengbanjjajang: This is my go-to and personal favorite noodle dish to get here. It is similar to their original jjangmyeon except that it is less soupy and has a bit of spice. The spiciness adds a nice kick balancing the sweet and savory flavors. There are also lots of different mix ins like squid, shrimp, beef, and vegetables! The play on textures and contrasting flavors is why I love this dish 3) Spicy Chicken Wings (Yangnyeom): For not being a chicken wing restaurant, Paiks sure does serve some banger wings. Juicy big wings with a slight crisp on the outside. The sauce is amazing. It is that sweet and spicy yangnyeom korean fried chicken sauce. 4) Tangsuyuk: I never visit Paisk without ordering their tangsuyuk. Perfectly fried with a great chew. The pork is not too porky or gamey which is nice, and the sauce is a sticky sweet and sour sauce. 4) Gunmandoo: Their panfried dumplings are quite nice too! I haven't gotten them in a while, but they were solid Overall, I don't think there was a single dish I disliked here at Paiks. Service is standard, not too fast not too slow. The ambiance is not really one for dates or anything. It's super casual with metal chairs. It can get a bit cold. There are restrooms and water dispensers. They used to have the self serve yellow radish but now they just serve it with your meal. You have to clean your table yourself and put all the dish trays in the back

We got the combo thing with a bunch of different meats, and the large pork belly was cooked first so we ended up waiting for a good amount of time, and once we started slowing down the beef tongue cooked very quickly and faster than we could eat. The banchan were pretty hit or miss. The kimchi and salad were highlights. Overall taking away a star because I've had better experiences at other high end kbbq restaurants in different cities.

Clean cooking that wasn't oily and allowed the flavors of all the ingredients to shine. The japchae was light and refreshing, yet hearty. They were able to accommodate spicy levels well and they didn't disappoint! The sundubu was spicy and aromatic. It had noodles with the right amount of bounciness and fresh vegetables. The silken tofu was solid and among the better once's we've had. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient while we reviewed the menu. They checked on us appropriately to make sure we were satisfied. The restaurant was bright and it seems like they are always busy. The loud conversations within the other parties there speaks to the quality of the food also! Rate: 4.5/5, a definite recommend for those looking for Korean cooking without having to go farther West in the Houston area.

We did the 3 meat BBQ combo, which easily feeds around 3 people and added a few extra dishes to share. We ordered the jahp chae, which is a stir fried glass noodle with vegetables and beef. It was AMAZING and probably our favorite dish of the night. Super flavorful but not oily at all which is rare for stir fried noodles. This was both of our favorites. We also tried tteok bokki, which is chewy rice cakes in a spicy sauce. They offer the option to add cheese and in hindsight I think that would have made it better. I was really excited for this one, but it didn't fully hit for me. It was good just not amazing and a little more spicy than I personally prefer. Lastly, we tried the yachae jeon which is a vegetable pan fried pancake, and WOW. It was huge, super crispy, and had sooo much flavor for a vegetarian dish. The meats and all the BBQ fixings were incredible. Honestly, every single thing that came to the table was amazing QUALITY and amazing FLAVOR. I also loved that the staff helps cook the meat for you which made the experience way more enjoyable. I have to shout out the customer service. From start to finish, the staff was amazing. They were patient with us as first timers, explained everything clearly, and made us feel super comfortable. We had a vegetarian in our group, and there were plenty of menu options for him.
