We're at the Ribadouro restaurant in Portugal, across from the NH Collection Hotel. We started with a crab dip served with buttered bread as an appetizer. Then we enjoyed the lobster head shrimp dish, which might be the second-best meal I've had in years. It had all the flavors I love, with a sauce that tasted like garlic, onion, and butter--so good! A nice white wine paired perfectly with this meal. Wine is Verdelho. Absolutely delicious!

Came here for a nice group dinner. If you love seafood, then this is the place to go. Fresh seafood is what everyone gets. We had a variety of dishes included an amazing seafood tower that included lobster, crab legs, prawns, barnacles. Ambience is nice and staff are friendly. Desserts were a miss though. We tried several and I would recommend skipping dessert. There are so many better (imho) options in Lisbon. Price on the higher side given the high quality seafood but of you are coming from US, UK, etc then it's not too bad.

We are at Ribadouro and had the garlic shrimp and lobster tails -- both were spot on. Shrimp had that buttery garlic pop, and the lobster was tender and rich. Even the bread with butter was legit. No complaints. Solid spot if you're into good seafood without the fuss.

Very good, fresh seafood. A bit on the pricey side but great quality. Service was very good and friendly. Our waiter made great suggestions. Ambiance is not fancy at all.

was recommended by our hotel. entered and at first everything seemed great, packed, good service but expensive prices. we specifically asked if the seafood platter was cold or could be hot he said only cold. we said okay we are looking for something grilled. he says okay how about a few tiger shrimp, clams and other shrimp along with some grilled langostine? we go okay sounds great! we also ordered salad and side of broccoli well we got clams, cooked separate. then a cold seafood platter. I asked the waiter, you said this was grilled? he goes oh no no only cold and walked away. they then gave us grilled langostine separate. and no salad or grilled broccoli we noticed EVERY person in the restaurant was getting the same meal. soon put together the waiters hustle you into just agreeing to what they recommend, you end up with something you didn't even want and that will cost you a bill upwards of 170€ wouldn't recommend. don't appreciate over priced food and being taken for a fool

Went here twice during my stay in Lisbon because we liked it so much! Seafood is very fresh and cooked food has good flavor profiles. It was our favorite seafood restaurant in Portugal, and we went to quite a few. - fresh oysters (so fresh they were a little sweet) - shrimp salad had a rly nice sauce, a little sweet and quite unique - Tiger shrimp was nicely cooked - we also got green wine (not pictured) and I thought it tasted very clean! Similar to white wine

Very tasty, very fresh. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend the Cod and the crab appetizer. Paired well with the green wine.

My only wish is that these is more of a way to help navigate the canned selection. I know a lot about beer but it's hard to decide on these because there isn't much in the way of write ups, just suggestions from whomever is there working or drinking. I normally stick with the tap, in general. I suggest taking the drinks out by the park on nice days. I really like this little area.

This place has quite a nice selection of beer, for a small store. Mostly European, and I was excited to see all the BrewDog from Scotland and Mikkeller from Denmark. Also surprised to see many Rogue Ale's beers, even on draft as well. There is a shelf for Portuguese craft, some from Lisbon. The girl working there, Ann Marie, is the best. She's really knowledgeable about the beer. When I asked her about a label, she'd tell me - their best beer is XXX, which I don't have right now, but of the two I have, this one is better. She is honest about her opinion - they waited six month to get this beer, she was really excited to try it but felt rather let down. She also enjoys giving trivia - the label Electric Nurse from Denmark comes from the occupations of the founders - one is an electrician and the other a nurse. She lets me sample the draft before deciding which one I want. Last but not least, she is diligent with regular sampling of the beer to ensure quality. ; ) The place has a relaxed vibe, with some games and books for entertainment. We just sat at the bar and chatted with locals, about beer, food, and everything. A really lovely way to spend an afternoon of our vacation, rather than hurrying around like crazy tourists. If you prefer, Praça Das Flores is just across the street, a park where you can totally enjoy a little corner of nature. Beers are not cheap here. The bottles costs over €3 each, and drafts mostly €4-6. Whereas a Sagres usually costs me €2 or so. However, if you don't feel it's worth paying extra to support craft and quality beer, then by all means stay with your Super Bock.

The shops are set all the way in behind the tables and umbrellas, so unless you really walk up to it, you may pass by this place many times and not find it. I'm thrilled that with each visit to Portugal the local beer scene is getting more vibrant. While there are more micro-breweries, it's hard for a traveler to visit, as it's a challenge to find out accurate info about their opening hours - if they are open to public - and then trying to fit the visits into your schedule. You also need to pray that they open as scheduled. Now, there is Beer Station, which specializes in local crafts, is right smack in the middle of the tourist area, is open for long hours, and has very affordable prices. So you tourists can just sit back, relax, and have a jolly good time. Bottles are around €4, and for draft, you can get 20cl for €3 or 40cl for €5. A flight of three is only €5, very affordable (wish I have $5 flights back home!!) and a great way to go for trying different beers. And don't forget to go inside and check out their bottles selection in the fridge, and get some for souvenirs. The staff will be more than happy to help with your selection and tell you more about the Portuguese craft beer scene!

I have Celiac disease and so navigating food when traveling is always an experience for me and I immediately tagged this place as one we would return to. Sadly, when we went and I said I needed to be gluten-free and asked if they had a separate menu when I only saw three items the server said "We really don't have a lot." ...then why is it advertised in huge letters on the sign outside? Felt strange. The service was exceptional of course - none of this at all is a condemnation of the employees - they were all great and attentive and helpful... I just think the advertising of the menu and branding needs... some rework? The check arrived with major sticker shock for fries, wings, and sangria (that was way way too sweet). We spend a good amount of our disposable income on dining out, with intent, and the value ratio for this one was... off. Environment? Very chill neighborhood "burger bar" type place. There are some couches and lots of art on the walls for purchase and pretty extensive beer list - larger than I had seen at any other restaurant in Alfama and beyond.
