We saw the pink elephants while walking on the street below, and I like the namesake brew, plus they had fun little balconies perfect for people watching. When we walked up to the inside, all the balconies were occupied. Oh well. Still enjoyed some Delirium Tremons on tap. The side wall waking up the steps was decorated with bottle caps, very colorful. They had a large number of good beers on tap. We didn't eat so no comment on that.

If you like Belgian beers, definitely worth a stop by since these are hard to find outside of Belgium! I had a nice delirium fruit beer and I had a de garre which is from Bruges! Definitely a great stop!

Super busy at 9pm but the hostess was able to find me a stool at the bar. I enjoyed two AMAZING beers to finish off an adventurous day. I love American beers and I love German beers but I really really love Belgian beers and DT has them in spades. A great QR-code menu provided a list and that got me going. Super to sit at the bar and while the beer masters were busy, I had a little chat here and there. Pretty darned awesome. I would definitely drink here again! Great beer house! Service is quick and provided at table of available. Place decor is very cool and psychedelic. Pool table available for additional entertainment along with some tvs throughout for watching game of the day. Place even has some two seater balcony opening where you can enjoy your tap overlooking the crowds beneath. Had a great time here and even got a shirt as souvenir.

2 Americans walk into a Belgium bar in Portugal... lol. We were walking back to our hotel from exploring and just happened to see the entrance up some steps down a random street and the pink elephant intrigued us! So we wandered in unplanned and had some great beers and snacks! I like the dark beers and got their delirium nocturnum and love it. Andrew got their signature delirium tremens and finished it off with a smile. We got some chips and dips and loved the unique atmosphere. There are cute little two seaters on the patios but they were full. The bar area itself was still amazing and great fun. Good service, good beers, great bar in the heart of Lisboa.

    Great time with family.

Cool bar over looking the balusy shopping district area. Great view, great service and loads of tap options

Love the people watching on the balcony seating. They the banana or coconut flavored beers.

This is the 3rd Delirium Cafe I've been to and although their beer selection isn't the best of the 3 (Brussels unsurprisingly wins that award), they do have the best food of the 3, beating Brussels and Amsterdam. We got the Portuguese Board which had tons of meat, sausage, cheese, olives, brad and lupins. Washed that down with a few Tremens and then thought it would be a good idea to order more food, so we did. Round 2 was calamari (or "breaded squids" as the menu states) and fries. These portions were HUGE and would have been enough for 4 people to share but they were delicious and we gave it or best shot....still couldn't finish though. Friendly service to boot. Worth a visit if in Lisbon.

Best beer selection in Lisbon. Very exotic and hard to find beers on tap. If you like dark tap beer with higher alcohol content, then go nowhere else. We hit this place four times in four days and drank different varieties each time. They have multiple varieties of delirium beer. Can't say enough about this place. Be sure to sit on the window balconies and watch the people go by below you.

I actually chanced upon this while walking up to Cafe Lisboa for lunch. I spotted a big pink elephant and immediately knew what it is. lol. So all through lunch I'm plotting how to squeeze in a stop among my busy itinerary. Portugal is definitely more renowned for its wine than its beer. If you are set on trying Portuguese beers, this may not be the place, as they only have one or two local brews, but if you are just searching for good beers, then this is about as good as it gets in Lisbon. As we all know, Belgium starts with BEer. The long line of elephant tap handles will entice you with the promise of different styles of Belgium brews. Some beers are offered in two different sizes. There are also lots of bottles to enjoy there, or to take home. The tap room, located on the second floor, is rather spacious, and you can look down onto the street from the tables near the windows. There are many cute elephant drawings on the wall. Standard pub fare is served as well though I didn't get to try any. There is also a gift shop area.

Big Belgian tap list and friendly service. Only negative was they were out of many by the bottle or can selections. Worth a stop!

Eventually one or two people started to join as we sat, but for how good the view was at this place I'm surprised it wasn't busier. Service was a bit slow despite us being the only ones there, but the food was really good. The avocado toast came with a perfectly cooked egg, and my scrambled eggs with pickled onions were also tasty. The coffee here was also strong and delicious, but really, you're here for the views. I don't know that I'd travel out of my way to stop here, but if you're in the area and are craving food with a view (and have time to spare) this is a solid option in my opinion.

We couldn't get a spot by the railing, but when some other people left, they moved us to a great spot just in time for food to arrive. Would definitely come back. We had the cheese plate, the bifana, and the meat croquettes. The bifana was surprisingly different than I expected, but tasted like a beef stew dip sandwich. The meat croquettes were filled with some super soft meat inside, and the favorite was the cheese plate with a huge bowl of toast and bread.
