Almost walked passed if it wasn't for yelp reviews. House red wine and mix tapas platter was amazing and fed 4. We also had the power soup and Sardinihas. So filling. Followed by a an evening walk to portas do sol. Definitely recommend this cozy location. Music vibes on point too.

The stuff was really nice and the food was really delicious! We had a mixed Tapas for 2 people for 30€, which is really cheap for the amount that we got. We didn't even finish it because it was too much, but you can take it home.:)

Happened upon this restaurant after working up an appetite exploring castelo jorge.Glad we did not stop at the cute restaurants just outside the castle. My daughter sniffed out this little wine bar called Marcelino pao and vinoh and boy was it a treat! The specials were hung on chalkboards outside and we immediately went for the tapas for two. It included smoked black pudding chorizo, a plethora of tasty cheeses a lip smacking ornament of fruit and delicious breads to accompany! The platter of food was eye popping and scrumptious.Add with two beers and a glass of wine it was the best value so far for €40.Friendly service and eclectic decor.Highly recommend! If I were to talk about the great music and floating hats Im sure I would run out of space!

Highly recommended right after the Castelo De Jorge, wanted something light and filling, super delish from the hike up.

Highly recommended after the walk from Castelo De Jorge. Light and filling portuguese lunch for us, was outstanding and delish.

Amazing place in Lisbon! It was our last night in Lisbon and we wanted some food nearby. We found this little cute spot close by. It was a hole in a wall and we would have missed it if we walked too fast. My cousin ordered omelette with some veggies in it because she was in the mood for some breakfast food. I ordered the behest Ian toastas. It was amazing. It came with a side salad. All for less than 8 euros. Would highly recommend it.

Very nice staff and location! Been there several times for breakfast, always had the "Bom Dia!" (coffee, grilled sandwich with tomatoes, ham and cheese, a mini pastel de nata and a fresh homemade lemonade). The other meals looked nice, too.

My taste buds got together and learned Portuguese they could write a thank you note to the kitchen staff. I took photos of everything including the signature cocktail and made my social media friends look at them. This place rocks! (Literally. They have a rocking playlist and live music at night.) No matter your appetite, this place has snacks and full entrees that span a range of palate-pleasers. You cannot go wrong here ordering something out of the ordinary or sticking with what's familiar. The staff are always in motion serving patrons and checking on tables. They seem very happy working together as a team. Their smiles were not just for guests but for each other. Comfortable indoor seating as well as relaxing outdoor seating to accommodate any size of party. Happy Hour specials and 2-for-1 pizza Sundays after 7 PM make this a great spot for anyone on a budget. They do not skimp on creativity or flavor. Treat yourself and try them early in your stay. You'll be better off than me with the option of returning here once more before you have to go back home. Manga!

Didn't have much expectations thinking it was gonna be a tourist trap but I was wrong everything came out to be exceptional. My group got 2 pitchers of their sangria and it was delicious and tasty. Their seafood is pretty fresh and everything came out to be very flavorful. I personally enjoyed the camarones y cahuil which is shrimped drenched in garlic and butter. Only mistake we had was the pizza and ceviche but nonetheless everything else was delicious. Big plus is the atmosphere. Music was on point and the vibe was what we needed after a long day. Would recommend this place if your in the area. Take note they have happy hour for drinks and their cocktails are exceptional.

However, we eventually grew tired of this and wanted to enjoy a cocktail or two with the locals. After doing some shopping, we stumbled upon The Bar. Unlike some of the other bars, The Bar does not have outdoor seating. Therefore, you have to keep your eyes peeled for the entrance. Upon entering the dimly lit intimate bar, we were warmly greeted by a bartender named Joao. We took in the romantic ambiance (they have a Louis Vuitton Virgil Abloh collector's book!) as we found seating on one of their cozy + comfy couches. My wife ordered the Porn Star Martini (you gotta love an establishment that has a little fun with the name of their drinks) and I ordered the Long Island Iced Tea (this used to be my go-to back in my clubbing days). I knew the drinks would be delicious when I saw Joao carefully crafting the drinks as if he was bathing a newborn. Six minutes later we were sipping on our delectable drinks. In fact, the drinks were so delectable that we slowly sipped them to not finish them too quickly. We made repeated visits to The Bar during our stay in Lisbon, specifically for their Happy Hour that takes place from 5pm to 8pm. With the exception of the signature cocktails, all cocktails are $7 during Happy Hour. If you're looking to consume an adult beverage in a comfortable, cozy, and non-touristy environment...I highly recommend The Bar!

Our server informed us they close at 11 but still served us at 11:10, we apologized but he insisted we stay. This was the main reason I am going with 5 stars. This server was very kind and brought us our drink that we drank rather fast so that he could get home as soon as possible. Both of our drinks were expertly made and the ambiance only added to the experience.

English language menus definitely help, and so does an establishment that identifies possible food allergies. We made online dinner reservations here for our first night in Lisbon with high hopes of being able to make it til 8pm. HA! Luckily, they took pity on us when we showed up around 6:30. Servers were super friendly and helpful. I was so relieved when they greeted us in English - - my attempt at learning at least some Portuguese failed miserably. They sat us at a table right in the front window. They had a nice cocktail menu - - so we started with the ginjinha cocktail - - so refreshing. Nice sized menu with something for everyone.
