Peach tart with vanilla cream (7 euros)

My family and I stumbled upon this place after getting off the train station in Lisbon, and we loved it! The setting is very classy and elegant and was a great place for a family dinner. The menu was an interesting fusion of a lot of different cuisines, and they had a fairly extensive cocktail menu. I ordered the salmon salad with apple and pecans (12 euros) and sea bass ceviche (10 euros). The ceviche was interesting (not quite what I was expecting but still quite tasty), but the salad was amazing and really hit the spot. My family ordered the cod and the tortellini and really enjoyed it as well. The dessert, peach tart with vanilla cream, was alright though I probably wouldn't order it again. The bread provided was very good; I had both cereal bread and sweet potato bread. The garlic butter that came along with it was AMAZING. Overall, a really good dinner and would be happy to come back!

Classy, sophisticated, excellent service. Oh and by the way the food and drinks were amazing! We are staying at the BessaHotel Liberdade for the NOS Alive Festival and Tabik is their adjoining restaurant. Thankfully the place wasn't too busy pre-festival (we didn't head to festival till 8pm). Service was exceptional even by US standards. Very modern, beautiful space. Please try it!

The servers were top notch, and one of the best parts of the experience. Teresa and another gentleman helped us. We came here because we heard it was Michelin Star material, but then, it looks like someone else took over the kitchen. I have to say, while the food was good, it wasn't outstanding or super creative. It was good, it was solid, just nothing super innovative or unusual. We got there right before a party of 50 arrived, and it was impressive seeing how the small staff managed it all. Only one other table of two came in, besides the party while we were there. I had a basic steak with some potatoes and veg. Hubby had some sort of fish/ seafood stew with rice. The chocolate dessert was a decadent bit of heaven, perfectly paired with a berry jam and ice cream. Delightful. Most unusual discovery in this whole place: the toilet paper. It is BLACK. No sh*t. I laugh to say it, but that was worth the visit, I was so amused with it.

Want to eat at Lisbon's soon to be Michelin-star restaurant? Book a table at Tabik now!

All of them were friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond. Seriously, not only did they do their job, but they went out of their way to make us feel special and welcomed. It was such a great experience. Oh, did I mention the view? Amazing! The food there was great, we had mostly sushi, sashimi, tacos, etc, all of which was fresh and tasty. The wait team gave us recommendations which were spot on. No upsells, but honest and right on the money based on what we described we wanted. They knew their stuff and delivered. That was a highlight for sure. Well done, SEEN team. And as a side note, the folks - well one person in particular - who complained about the dress code, it's seriously not a "thing." It's very clearly spelled out and it's not a huge burden. Image attached. It's clearly referenced when you make a reservation, it's on their website, and it's frankly not unreasonable. We saw a range of people there and they were all welcomed. The bottom line is, this place is a nicer place. If you feel like being overly casual, or sloppy, this likely isn't the place for you. And that's totally ok. There are plenty of other rooftops you can go to and be overly casual or sloppy at and fit right in, no problem. But honestly, you have to proactively work to not meet the dress code here. Especially during lunch. All that being said, we loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

However, we eventually grew tired of this and wanted to enjoy a cocktail or two with the locals. After doing some shopping, we stumbled upon The Bar. Unlike some of the other bars, The Bar does not have outdoor seating. Therefore, you have to keep your eyes peeled for the entrance. Upon entering the dimly lit intimate bar, we were warmly greeted by a bartender named Joao. We took in the romantic ambiance (they have a Louis Vuitton Virgil Abloh collector's book!) as we found seating on one of their cozy + comfy couches. My wife ordered the Porn Star Martini (you gotta love an establishment that has a little fun with the name of their drinks) and I ordered the Long Island Iced Tea (this used to be my go-to back in my clubbing days). I knew the drinks would be delicious when I saw Joao carefully crafting the drinks as if he was bathing a newborn. Six minutes later we were sipping on our delectable drinks. In fact, the drinks were so delectable that we slowly sipped them to not finish them too quickly. We made repeated visits to The Bar during our stay in Lisbon, specifically for their Happy Hour that takes place from 5pm to 8pm. With the exception of the signature cocktails, all cocktails are $7 during Happy Hour. If you're looking to consume an adult beverage in a comfortable, cozy, and non-touristy environment...I highly recommend The Bar!

Our server informed us they close at 11 but still served us at 11:10, we apologized but he insisted we stay. This was the main reason I am going with 5 stars. This server was very kind and brought us our drink that we drank rather fast so that he could get home as soon as possible. Both of our drinks were expertly made and the ambiance only added to the experience.
