The dishes were phenomenal and service exquisite. Only a few tables allow for an amazing experience while getting to look at all the antiques throughout! The chicken dish brought my fiancé to tears and of course she had to have the rest. If you are visiting Lisbon, you MUST get a reservation here.

This was our favorite place we ate in our whole trip to Portugal! The food was delicious and the owner and his wife were amazing. They fit us in without a reservation and made us feel very comfortable. Everything we ordered was perfect and the wine was amazing! I highly recommend

A friend found this restaurant on Yelp and we decided to try while in Lisbon. I'm not sure any meal I eat in Portugal will come close to how amazing the food was. The service was also top notch. It's a small quaint location and the staff knows the menu and can make amazing recommendations. The chef came out and we let her know how amazing the food was. The wine was amazing that we tried as well. We tried 2 starters and the 3 of us each ordered a different fish option off the menu. 2 more nights in Lisbon and the bar has been set high.

Great service, incredible food, and wonderful ambiance. Try the sea bass, and Poached Pears with Goat Cheese.

Amazing experience. Call in advance for a reservation this hole in the wall is worth the visit. The owner was incredibly nice, recommended top dishes and local wines. I can't recall my dish but look at this picture. The dish was incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious. I am definitely planning to return.

Came here this evening for dinner and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff is so welcoming and came to our table multiple times to check on how we were enjoying ourselves. The chef even came out a few times. The food was phenomenal. We had the stuffed mushrooms, the vegetarian meatballs and the penne with shrimp. Also, the ambiance made us feel like we were dining in a friends home. Highly recommend!!

This place is fantastic. Food was excellent and owners, who are also the servers, were very welcoming and fun. Went with family, including two teenage sons, and everyone loved it. Make sure to try the prawns. Owner jokingly said they were "probably" the best in the world. He just might be right.

We had a wonderful meal sitting on the table next to the street. The food had a wonderful set of flavors. We had the sangria which was also very special. We had the bruschetta which had a combination of flavors followed by the meatballs that were buried in a special meat sauce.

came in here unintentionally but were pleasantly surprised, one of our favorite meals in lisbon. the couple are super attentive and proud of their food. the place is super quaint and intimate. they were out of the octopus which was a bummer for me, but they assured me i'd love the tuna which I definitely did. we also got a curry shrimp appetizer that was to die for and beet/quinoa meatballs over polenta. servings were giant and we left nearly unable to finish. service was on point as well.

Our first meal in Lisbon, and a wonderful one it was. We staggered in exhausted from a long day of air travel without a reservation, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. So friendly warm and welcoming. Our server recommended 3 dishes which we decided to take her recommendations on: the shrimp appetizer, a delicious generous portion of fresh head on shrimp in a creamy sauce which you will use a spoon and the delicious bread to get every drop. Then the main courses of tuna and cod. I'm just going to let the photos speak for themselves. They were both delicious, generous portions and perfectly prepared. We had a bottle of house red wine with it which was tasty. The meal was not only delicious but very reasonably priced as well.

Too many great things to say about this place. 3 very hungry girls walked in and Pablo was very patient answering our questions about the ingredients. We went for his 2 top dishes and there was absolutely no regret! we also had the camarão à Antikuario-which was divine too! Their salmon was perfectly cooked and it came with a small fresh garden salad. Everything was fresh and perfectly flavored. The check came with 3 sweet chocolates and we loved the excellent customer service. We were the first to arrive but it soon got busy and for just reason, this is a GEM! We asked the owner about hours, the kitchen will close at 10pm so arrive 9:30pm latest BUT they will stay open and not rush anyone. I just loved this place so much!

Came for for our last meal and was exceptional- the best meal we had. For apps had the smoked corn and tuna ceviche. Entrees were steak w mushroom sauce, and tuna, both with sweet potato mash. Much care with the presentation and the flavors were top notch. Lotta love goes into the cooking here and the experience!

OK, but nothing special. Too much shtick, not-so-hot food. Better choices in the neighborhood.

My only wish is that these is more of a way to help navigate the canned selection. I know a lot about beer but it's hard to decide on these because there isn't much in the way of write ups, just suggestions from whomever is there working or drinking. I normally stick with the tap, in general. I suggest taking the drinks out by the park on nice days. I really like this little area.

This place has quite a nice selection of beer, for a small store. Mostly European, and I was excited to see all the BrewDog from Scotland and Mikkeller from Denmark. Also surprised to see many Rogue Ale's beers, even on draft as well. There is a shelf for Portuguese craft, some from Lisbon. The girl working there, Ann Marie, is the best. She's really knowledgeable about the beer. When I asked her about a label, she'd tell me - their best beer is XXX, which I don't have right now, but of the two I have, this one is better. She is honest about her opinion - they waited six month to get this beer, she was really excited to try it but felt rather let down. She also enjoys giving trivia - the label Electric Nurse from Denmark comes from the occupations of the founders - one is an electrician and the other a nurse. She lets me sample the draft before deciding which one I want. Last but not least, she is diligent with regular sampling of the beer to ensure quality. ; ) The place has a relaxed vibe, with some games and books for entertainment. We just sat at the bar and chatted with locals, about beer, food, and everything. A really lovely way to spend an afternoon of our vacation, rather than hurrying around like crazy tourists. If you prefer, Praça Das Flores is just across the street, a park where you can totally enjoy a little corner of nature. Beers are not cheap here. The bottles costs over €3 each, and drafts mostly €4-6. Whereas a Sagres usually costs me €2 or so. However, if you don't feel it's worth paying extra to support craft and quality beer, then by all means stay with your Super Bock.

The shops are set all the way in behind the tables and umbrellas, so unless you really walk up to it, you may pass by this place many times and not find it. I'm thrilled that with each visit to Portugal the local beer scene is getting more vibrant. While there are more micro-breweries, it's hard for a traveler to visit, as it's a challenge to find out accurate info about their opening hours - if they are open to public - and then trying to fit the visits into your schedule. You also need to pray that they open as scheduled. Now, there is Beer Station, which specializes in local crafts, is right smack in the middle of the tourist area, is open for long hours, and has very affordable prices. So you tourists can just sit back, relax, and have a jolly good time. Bottles are around €4, and for draft, you can get 20cl for €3 or 40cl for €5. A flight of three is only €5, very affordable (wish I have $5 flights back home!!) and a great way to go for trying different beers. And don't forget to go inside and check out their bottles selection in the fridge, and get some for souvenirs. The staff will be more than happy to help with your selection and tell you more about the Portuguese craft beer scene!

I have Celiac disease and so navigating food when traveling is always an experience for me and I immediately tagged this place as one we would return to. Sadly, when we went and I said I needed to be gluten-free and asked if they had a separate menu when I only saw three items the server said "We really don't have a lot." ...then why is it advertised in huge letters on the sign outside? Felt strange. The service was exceptional of course - none of this at all is a condemnation of the employees - they were all great and attentive and helpful... I just think the advertising of the menu and branding needs... some rework? The check arrived with major sticker shock for fries, wings, and sangria (that was way way too sweet). We spend a good amount of our disposable income on dining out, with intent, and the value ratio for this one was... off. Environment? Very chill neighborhood "burger bar" type place. There are some couches and lots of art on the walls for purchase and pretty extensive beer list - larger than I had seen at any other restaurant in Alfama and beyond.

Prawn sandwich was ok, not a lot of flavor but came with some sweet potato chips and a nice arugula salad. Wings were fantastic, fell off the bone, grilled perfectly with just a bit of heat.
