My wife and I went to SEEN rooftop today (March 22, 2026) for lunch and were thoroughly impressed. The food was fresh and delicious, the team from the hotel staff that greeted us in the lobby, to the hostess who met us at the elevator upstairs, to the bartenders that greeted us as we walked in and to eat and every waitress that stopped by our table. All of them were friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond. Seriously, not only did they do their job, but they went out of their way to make us feel special and welcomed. It was such a great experience. Oh, did I mention the view? Amazing! The food there was great, we had mostly sushi, sashimi, tacos, etc, all of which was fresh and tasty. The wait team gave us recommendations which were spot on. No upsells, but honest and right on the money based on what we described we wanted. They knew their stuff and delivered. That was a highlight for sure. Well done, SEEN team. And as a side note, the folks - well one person in particular - who complained about the dress code, it's seriously not a "thing." It's very clearly spelled out and it's not a huge burden. Image attached. It's clearly referenced when you make a reservation, it's on their website, and it's frankly not unreasonable. We saw a range of people there and they were all welcomed. The bottom line is, this place is a nicer place. If you feel like being overly casual, or sloppy, this likely isn't the place for you. And that's totally ok. There are plenty of other rooftops you can go to and be overly casual or sloppy at and fit right in, no problem. But honestly, you have to proactively work to not meet the dress code here. Especially during lunch. All that being said, we loved this place and will definitely be back. Found them on tik tok. It's the rooftop at a real nice hotel - high at tourist prices. Definitely dress up nice here. We didn't realize you should be dressed to the nines and everyone looked like they had moneyyy. Bring a jacket or cardi if you're visiting. We arrived in august and were pretty freezing with the wind. The drinks were good and the views even better. Drinks were definitely priced at American prices not local prices. The entrance is through the hotel Tivoli Aberdade. I initially made a dinner reservation for 11pm. But the hostess said Oh no go out to the rooftop that will be much more fun. Her advice was correct! I met a great group of guys from Turkey and we shared drinks and danced. The club became very full around midnight so less dancing more posting up to claim space. To note this isnt a true NY rooftop, but there is still Lisbon views. The crowd is very young but respectful. The wait for a coctail is typical for a crowded club, 20 mins for a drink. Made reservations several weeks in advance due to traveling and unsure of waiting. We were greeted warmly, downstairs at exterior glass elevator. We, also, were greeted well at hostess station. I had asked for a table with a view. Didn't get it. We sat at a high top near the bar. I felt like hostess was just blowing smoke with her explanation. Our server was congenial, professional, and provide suggestions and good service. Food was good. I'd go again to enjoy the ambiance, but actually think one can get better food and pay much less. Talk about a sky bar and it's one of the best I've ever seen And I tried to visit them all EVERYWHERE I go. Lisbon is full of beautiful views, and this location HAS TO BE the best in the city. The service was great although it can get busy so you may have to wait on the drink longer than you want to. However, the bartender guy made my drinks so well it made up for the wait. I had heard about Seen but didn't realize they had a Sky Bar as well. We couldn't get a reservation at Seen but saw that the bar was open when we go there and decided to go. The view is breathtaking (literally - I actually gasped when I saw it). It's a beautiful rooftop bar. The drinks are amazing, the service is good, the bar food is delicious. This rooftop bar is the perfect spot to watch the sunset or to hangout at night. There's a perfect view of the city. The aesthetic is so visually appealing. I got the waygu burger. This place was a bit expensive but worth it for the ambiance. I wasn't that impressed with the burger would probably go for something else next time. First time in Lisbon, and I actually saw this place recommended on Tik Tok. My friends and I went for a drink at sunset, but the sun set on the other side of the roof, so that was a bust, but the place was still great. Our bartender made drinks with so much thought and love and really made sure we were well taken care of. I enjoyed the views and the cocktails. For those of you looking to go here, I think it's worth it for a drink. It was our most expensive drink while in Portugal, but as American's we are used to paying this price for a quality cocktail (plus a view!). The bar is on the top floor of the hotel. My suggestion: Go up to the 16th floor to the Sky Bar and check out the view for a few minutes. It's amazing. Then get back in the elevator, go downstairs and get an Uber to go somewhere else for a drink. Both the management and staff have an over-inflated ego about this place, as though it was the latest hot spot disco in Europe. Even at 3:30 in the afternoon we waited 15 minutes for a waiter (even though they appeared to be OVER staffed) before we had to get up and ask a manager for service. Then of course, we got "the attitude." (Maybe we were not hip enough?) Overpriced and underwhelming - spend your hard-earned money somewhere else where they don't seem to have contempt for you. read more

I'll start by saying we only came for pre-dinner drinks, and on a dreary, rainy afternoon. The best part, other than the view, was the service. Our server was wonderful in translating the menu for us and answering questions to the point that we ended up ordering some food. I had the shrimp wrap which, unexpectedly came with cashews, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The place was pretty quiet until a very large group from a convention stopped by, so at that point service for us became non-existent, which was mostly ok since we had plans anyway. While Visiting Lisbon, a local mentioned to try this place out - he had me at rooftop bar. We arrived around 11pm on a Tuesday and were immediately greeted with beautiful views of the skyline (+1 star). Unfortunately, that was the one silver lining. The bar was not packed, given it was a weeknight but they were fully staffed - 2 bartenders, 1 cashier, 3 waitresses. I decided to approach the bar to order drinks since the waitresses kept passing by our group without acknowledgement (-1 star) . A few minutes later, bartender finally greet me and ask for my order - scotch neat and a whiskey sour. 10 minutes later, still waiting for drinks (-1 star). 5 minutes later bartender slices finger open but still proceeds to make drinks wiping blood on his shorts (-1 star). I decide to go back to our table to wait. Drinks finally arrive and she hands me the wrong bill (-1 star). Overall, great set up, cool artsy bathroom, and beautiful views but disappointing experience. The view is what you pay for here. A bottle of Corona and a large Superbock came to €15 so savour the vista. A DJ did his depressingly predictable deep house thing and when we left we were chased by the barman because he thought we hadn't paid. Not a good experience and I won't return. By all means, come here and take a picture because the view is worth a visit. read more
