I've been in Lisbon five days and it's on my last day that I discover this place. :-( Every bite of every dish I was served here made my tongue do somersaults! My taste buds got together and learned Portuguese they could write a thank you note to the kitchen staff. I took photos of everything including the signature cocktail and made my social media friends look at them. This place rocks! (Literally. They have a rocking playlist and live music at night.) No matter your appetite, this place has snacks and full entrees that span a range of palate-pleasers. You cannot go wrong here ordering something out of the ordinary or sticking with what's familiar. The staff are always in motion serving patrons and checking on tables. They seem very happy working together as a team. Their smiles were not just for guests but for each other. Comfortable indoor seating as well as relaxing outdoor seating to accommodate any size of party. Happy Hour specials and 2-for-1 pizza Sundays after 7 PM make this a great spot for anyone on a budget. They do not skimp on creativity or flavor. Treat yourself and try them early in your stay. Great find located in the center of downtown. Love the vibe and the ambiance. Very modern and eclectic. Didn't have much expectations thinking it was gonna be a tourist trap but I was wrong everything came out to be exceptional. My group got 2 pitchers of their sangria and it was delicious and tasty. Their seafood is pretty fresh and everything came out to be very flavorful. I personally enjoyed the camarones y cahuil which is shrimped drenched in garlic and butter. Only mistake we had was the pizza and ceviche but nonetheless everything else was delicious. Big plus is the atmosphere. Music was on point and the vibe was what we needed after a long day. Would recommend this place if your in the area. Take note they have happy hour for drinks and their cocktails are exceptional. read more

walk in.. Bar seats that are reserved for two outside for smoking who from the looks of it are drinking a coke and water... Party of six of us wanted a simple drink.. Sorry these seats aren't available aka friends of the bartenders... Got it.. we took our group and racked up a $410 tab at another bar.. This was a weird place. Kind of good though. First of all, this place was trendy af. Imagine a European hipster, then picture that hipster as a restaurant and that's this place. My chair was witawee made of grass, witawee. Every server had at least 3 piercing and 5 tattoos (but they probably had even more in private places ). There was no music when I walked in and then at some random time they started playing live music that sounded at like a billion decibels or something. Good music though. Nestled amongst the touristy restaurants in Chiado, this bar/restaurant stands out, both in its colorful, non-traditional decor and its lack of neediness. It does feature two happy hours per day, but in the middle of the afternoon, it was an oasis amongst the tourist traps. The vegetarian appetizer was surprisingly good, though the description made it sound simple. The coffee was okay, but the red wine quite good and very generous. For a fair price, I got all three, plus some much needed peace. I'm very glad I found this place, because after being approached by countless restaurant hosts on the street, I feared I would not find real food in Chiado. read more

We went here on our usual premise that if a place is packed, it's probably tasty. And it was- for those of us who received our food. My mother in law had ordered a salad and a steak sandwich. We had other tasty food- the shrimp in garlic sauce, two pizza, some tapas- but we never received her food until we asked for it three times. LOVE! If you're an American in your mid-late thirties, (or anyone, but especially that demographic), you will love this place. My friend and I went two nights while in Lisbon. Old school American hip hop and/or similar live music. Great shrimp risotto. Very reasonable drinks. Such a funky atmosphere. Many times we go to a restaurant because of its charm. This place has great appeal. A fresh new look and I was first intrigued by the waiter - Matteus' attention to the customers and I thought I'd have the same experience. I waited a good 10 minutes before anyone came over to me. Then after waiting 20 minutes for a gin-tonic - that was not even begun to be made I decided to leave. When leaving I informed the waitress I was waiting for twenty minutes for a gin and her response was bah-oh well! And the other waiter heard and seemed like all went in one ear and out the other.
