And finally Peixinhos da horta, or fish of the garden. Which turns out to be tempura fried green beans. They were also very good. The great news is that with Mini Bar, you get the best of both worlds - the creative menu without needing a babysitter. Mini Bar is kid friendly, and the server we had was so awesome with our kids that I can't sing his praise though. We opted for the Tasting Menu, and ordered a pizza and fries for the kids. The food arrived pretty quick, until we hit the mains, then it slowed down a bit too much for my liking. The space is pretty interesting, and there's plenty of room, so you don't feel squished in. All in all though, great experience. Happy that I got to have my meal without having to ditch my kids with a stranger in a foreign country.

My taste buds got together and learned Portuguese they could write a thank you note to the kitchen staff. I took photos of everything including the signature cocktail and made my social media friends look at them. This place rocks! (Literally. They have a rocking playlist and live music at night.) No matter your appetite, this place has snacks and full entrees that span a range of palate-pleasers. You cannot go wrong here ordering something out of the ordinary or sticking with what's familiar. The staff are always in motion serving patrons and checking on tables. They seem very happy working together as a team. Their smiles were not just for guests but for each other. We tried a bit of everything: croquetas, cheese plate, potato skins, and bruschetta. I wasn't a huge fan of the bruschetta only because it didn't have any sauce.
