Outside of the bartender stating they didn't have happy hour on Fridays, when they did until 7pm for small bites. It was nice to enjoy a glass of rose and enjoy their decor and quiet ambiance.

Gotta start the day with a solid breakfast. If you're in the neighbourhood, make sure to drop by here! Their omelettes were light and made to your liking. I had the spicy sausage, mushrooms and jalapeño. A touch salty for the sausage but their smashed potatoes made up for it! (That's why I had to take a pic of that by itself). The absolute must order breakfast dish is their waffled cheddar grits. Highly recommended by their staff and it doesn't disappoint. The waffled cheddar grits are nice and crunchy with chopped jalapeños buried within. The combination of thick cut bacon, feta and honeycomb make this one of a kind! I'm getting a bit hungry just thinking about it!

Probably will become out brunch "go to", We had a glorious meal! We came for Sunday brunch, having been to the amphitheater a few times. It did not disappoint. Staff was excellent, super friendly and professional, food was out of this world! And our wine was half price, as it seems to happen on Sundays for wines under $100. Recommend a visit and trying: - WOODLAND MUSHROOM TART foie gras, duck confit. grilled rapini. ricotta, egg. truffle. pecorino - TUNA CONFIT 'NICOISE" TARTINE sourdough, egg, olive, tomato, arugula, red onion, avocado - Blue cheese broccolini - Banana pudding - Chocolate and strawberry croissant

Enjoyed the Thanksgiving pre-fixe menu - three course meal with a cold Classic City lager. Went to their website to make a reservation and the link took me back to Yelp. Received a text message to confirm. Our server was attentive and apologized that he didn't know the entire menu - found out the menu 30 minutes before they opened, no biggie. The lamb was very tender. The turkey was well cooked and moist. From start to finish, was about one hour. Tom showed us the terrace on the 9th floor. Gave us a quick tour. Hand sanitizer station on the left as you enter. All the staff wore mask and none of them wore gloves.

Everything I have to say about this restaurant is super positive. I went last night with some friends because we were out celebrating a promotion that I got it work. Yay me! So I chose this restaurant because I have been wanting to go check out the epicurean hotel because I have heard such great things about the restaurants. So I will say that our waitress was a delight. She got her started with a bottle of champagne. And she was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was also very honest about the items that were really good and things that she would not recommend. And I really appreciated that good night. So the girls and I all got a small plate to share. So here's the lowdown on the food: Small plates Shrimp and grits Croquetas $17.00. You get 3. They were just ok. Nothing special. But the benton's aged country ham underneath is to die for. Chichironnes Surf & Turf $18.00. You get 3. The pork belly was very chewy. Another just ok dish. Moroccan Duck Meatballs $19.00. You get 4. These are delicious! You must get these. You will not get disappointed. Main dishes: We all chose the pork Wood fired Double Heritage Pork $44.00. Let me tell you how amazing this dish was! Th pork chop was cooked to perfection and the sides were equally as amazing. There was this cooked pear with an arugula salad on top, potatoes and broccolini OMG. So good. I would definitely go back. The service was A+.

    TODAY'S STEAK FRITES

Had a wonderful dinner at Reverence located at the Epicurean Hotel. Food and Service: The food was amazing!! Must tries are the steak frites and the foie gras. We also enjoyed the duck dumplings. The wine list is extensive. I love the wine wall they have. Blake, our server was so knowledgeable, polite and knows the menu well. He also suggested the perfect bottle for our meal. If you love a good Syrah and French wine, definitely select the Chateauneuf Du Pape Clos Du Roi. This resto is fit for foodies. The menu can be seasonal so be ready for that. A note to the chef: the steak is delicious! The sauces you served to accompany it are not needed. Trust me. It was that good. Parking: self parking is available. If you valet, resto can validate your ticket. Make sure to visit soon and check out the rooftop. It's a beautiful view. They also have a brunch menu. I can't wait to dine here again.

    KARAAGE FRIED CHICKEN

Ambiance was on point. Located inside the Epicurean hotel, this low-key restaurant sets the stage for an evening of romance. I was pleasantly surprised when the hostess was able to pronounce my name correctly, which is an amazing feat. It wasn't busy for a Saturday night but I was good with that because I dislike dining in loud places. Our server was very delightful and answered all our questions about drink suggestions and items on the menu. We had the karaage fried chicken which was bougie chicken nuggets. It came with pickled kimchee, an aioli, and a citrus chermoula. They were good and flavorful. The main entree was the ricotta truffle agnolotti with shrimp. It was similar to ravioli and it was topped with corn and pea sauce. It was very light and my drink was a fancy margarita made with tequila, pineapple, and jalapeño. All in all, it was a good experience but very pricey. The fancy nuggets were $18! They were made from chicken thighs! Our server was wonderful and made the dining experience very pleasant. Not sure if I would go back but I would say that it's something you should try.

    The FULL EPICUREAN BREAKFAST
    Steve C.

My only experience was the complimentary breakfast courtesy of my Elite membership. My wife had the Full Epicurean Breakfast which was wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. I had the Steel Cut Oatmeal and also ordered a Chocolate Croissant. The oatmeal was fine, however, the croissant was perfect - so light, flaky, and buttery with just the right amount of chocolate. Likely the best croissant I have ever eaten. Looking forward to a return visit to try them for dinner.

This restaurant is located in the Epicurean hotel in Midtown. It's so convenient to be able to roll out of bed and grab breakfast so that's exactly what we did. They have a typical breakfast fare for the most part but no pancakes! I ordered a vanilla latte. I noticed that it tasted like it didn't have any vanilla in it so when I asked for more, the waitress admitted, they had just run out. So that was disappointing. I also ordered one of their healthy smoothies, which tasted pretty good, but was very small for the price. My daughter got a chocolate croissant that was really good and their scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. I also really liked the chicken sausage. Her açai bowl was a little on the warm side., but the fruit was fresh. Overall, the food was pretty solid, but not cheap. It's also awkwardly right near the check in. It was weird, like you're checking in and can be seeing people eating right in front of you. Strange layout. I would not seek out this place but if you're staying at the hotel, it's convenient and pretty good food.

Restaurant only accepts reservations through open table which was convenient as we got same day availability. The floor manager was very pleasant and personable. Made great recommendation to our wine. Food was excellent as seen in pictures. 4 star only cause: 1. The service was way to slow. We had grab our servers attention to place orders. 2. Our wine preference not available, though we were substituted with a great recommendation 3. They should have a sign outside showing valet is free for restaurant customers. 4. Restaurant was freezing cold. FYI: use the valet parking instead of self parking . Valet is validated by the restaurant and self is not

My family and I decided to do something different this year and eat out instead of home. I was skeptical about Reverence because the menu seemed a bit skimpy in terms of selection, especially for the price but we decided to give them a try. We had 430 reservations but arrived at 4. The setting and ambiance was beautiful. The hostess greeted us with a smile and sat us right away. Our server was Bethany and she was great. She asked if wanted still or sparkling waters, and we let her know we were okay with tap. We were not aware until later that soda coffee or tea were part of the buffet. She did let us know we could partake of the buffet when we were ready. Our evening sort of went downhill from there. The buffet options really left something to be desired. They had a carving station, which was the turkey. The side options were cauliflower stuffing, a roasted mixed vegetable, cornbread dressing, mashed sage sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, turkey pot pie, pumpkin coconut soup, various rolls, kale salad, string bean salad and for dessert, mini macaroons, mini pecan tarts, and what might have been a key lime tart. The presentation of everything was beautiful, however the flavor was not there for anything and the pot pies were cold. This experience was so disappointing and extremely overpriced. I wish I could say I would recommend Reverence to family and friends but it's a no for me.

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.
