Rob explained all the types of injectables and their effects, I went with Botox. He used about 10 units less than I'm used to getting which was great. I opted to get an IV added on to my services. I'm really glad I did. I felt 100% better the whole week and I want to start making it a regular thing. Fortunately the hospital had a small supply to last 2 days. Unfortunately...today is Thursday and we still have not received his formula. He has been living on 2 cartons of supplement rather than the 5.4 he requires. To add insult to injury the CORAM upper echelon has decided he doesn't need the duo bags (water and nutrition)...even though he is totally NPO...he cannot get water any other way than through his j-tube. So no food and no water. It's a pretty scary situation and even more frightening that executives are choosing money over patients and doctor/dietitian's recommendations. I'm desperately trying to find another company to help us.

The nurses are great and I have no complaints there but the branch office in Massachusetts is completely confusing and unpleasant to deal with. The various departments that address authorizations and deal with billing do not give consistent information or one department does not know what the other is doing. Although Coram is a National Company and their marketing emphasizes the advantages of their ability to provide services nation wide you will find the Massachusetts branch will not make it easy. If you have a choice I would recommend avoiding Coram in Norwood MA and go with another company.

We opted to both be in the sauna and cold plunge and then individually go in for massages once our sauna session was up. Sauna and adjoining room were clean upon arrival. Cold plunge tub was filled as we spoke (not ice cold, but cold enough for beginners). He reviewed protocol with us and left the room for us. Massages were individual and allowed us to utilize the sauna while the other was getting a massage. He was professional and it was a great massage. Pricing was extremely reasonable and we will be back. We normally go to Fire and Ice in Dedham, but they lack an in room cold plunge, which we really enjoy in combination with the sauna experience.
