Tried to add a different card cause mine on file was compromised and was told I had to buy something In order to add card. She told me some of her employees don't have that access and that is how some of them were trained will others have the access to put in new cards without buying anything. I was never told that I should wait till the next day and talk to someone that could do it without buying something from the store. Also got charge for a class that was cancelled buy the instructor. not once but twice in two different cards. And was told basically my fault and with an attitude. Will never go back and just check your bank statements.

It is standard in all gyms that people wipe down the machine after use -- and here there is no sign, and way too many people do not wipe the equipment after use.

Towels seem to be the distinguishing factor--a premium club standard--but they were small and threadbare. Now I bring my own towels to Planet Fitness, and for under $20 I'm getting the same workout and a (much) cleaner shower. I too have pics of mold in SSAC showers, which I took to the front desk when they questioned it. In the end, SSAC was able to charge my card for months though I stopped going. It was my fault, because I'm bad about canceling memberships or returning things at stores. But then finally my card expired and when SSAC couldn't get more from it, I received an obnoxious, over-the-top letter from a lawyer. No doubt, they're technically in the right ("per the agreement"), but after years of patronage, legal threats strike me as bad form. It would have been better to ask if there was a reason I left, and whether they might do anything to bring me back.

New England Spas and Hot Tubs…read more NE Spas had an incredibly knowledgeable service department that went over and above to support a buyer who didn't acquire the highest end tub AND lives on a island! This issue arose because I chose to plug in my tub (how hard could it be) because hiring an electrician to come to an island by boat is difficult. Turns out, an electrician would have known to clamp the main power cord. Pulling on it over time ended up shorting out the circuit board. That's when the fun began. NESpas made sure to order the right replacement board, put me on a group chat and walked me through the installation. I clamped the power cord and it's operated flawlessly ever since. Don't go anywhere else!

The quality of service is solid but there were two challenges in their accounting system we had to work out: - one caused by detail missing for a reasonable surcharge which I did not understand - a second caused by set up error where weekly late fees were charged for a task not yet delivered. In hindsight the latter is funny but it took a call by Danielle to calm me down!

I reserved a ride with Boston Limousine to pick me up from the hospital after a medical procedure…read more They offer a "non-emergency medical transport" service which is required for hospital discharge if you can't drive yourself and have no available ride options. (Uber/taxis do not provide this service.) This is my first time using Boston Limousine and I was very concerned that unless everything was well coordinated, I would need to spend the night in the hospital. It would not only have resulted in a huge out-of-pocket expense, but more importantly, it would also mean leaving a family member essentially unattended overnight. Bottom line is that I was more concerned about the hospital discharge process than about the medical procedure itself. I shouldn't have worried. I made a reservation with Rayna at Boston Limousine, and she coordinated the details so expertly that even though the hospital's estimates for my discharge time changed several times, and I was discharged at a different location from that in my original reservation, my ride was available exactly when I was ready to leave. Kamal, my excellent driver, actually came in to get me (per the hospital requirements) at the correct location inside this huge hospital complex, and I was discharged without an issue. I was scheduled to be discharged after normal business hours, and Rayna even provided me with her cell phone number in case there were any changes to the discharge time! In addition to her professionalism and attention to detail, the level of kindness and caring that Rayna showed through the entire process really brought my stress level down, and made a very difficult day so much easier. The ride home was about 50 miles, and Kamal's driving was smooth and efficient, and his manner was friendly and professional. Even though I was a little sore from the procedure, it was a very comfortable, pleasant ride. I will use Boston Limousine whenever I need a car service in future, and recommend them without reservation.
