    View from the sauna bed

Went here for my birthday on a last minute appointment. I called for any openings that day and they easily fit me into their schedule for a Fire and Float beginner pack that was just $78! They have a parking lot that has reserved spaces just for their business. The inside is really nice, each station has their own private rooms with towels, robes and other necessities you may need. The hot sauna wasn't as hot as i expected as it may have been on a lower heat because i was a first timer for any type of sauna but I definitely sweated. The bed is open around the head so you can stay cool while your body gets to work. The float bed was amazing. It was relaxing and music is able to be played or turned off from within the floating pod as well as a light. It may get hot in their so if you open the pods door to your liking it will let in cool air.

I won a free float therapy from an Instagram contest. When I first walked into the Spa I was very impressed. The place was immaculate. I love the beautiful couches and decor. The business owner was very friendly and helpful with floating tips. When I first saw the pod I was shocked. It looks like something out of this planet. I was very excited to try it out. I went into the pod and turned off the lights and music for complete me time. I felt total relaxation and fell asleep. The water was a perfect temperature for my body. I used ear plugs, they provided by them, to block the water from entering in my ears. They had hair ties too, so I could tie my hair back. I was suffering from some upper back pain from work but after the float it relieved my pain. I liked that there was q-tips to clean the ears for after the float just in case water got into my ears. The room is stocked with many clean towels and a bath robe. The shower is right next to the pod so I could wash off the rest of the salt. They thought of everything because the door next to the room I was in, was a hair dryer room with a big mirror and had some lotion in there too. I will come back again soon to try out the other interesting services they offer. I work with people and I'm going to recommend this spa to everyone. I had posted some snaps and had so many friends asking me about my experience at Frost and Float Spa. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!

Always a great and friendly experience. I usually do the floats there but loved the beginner's package!

Impeccably clean, friendly staff, and the float rooms are beautiful and spacious. Can't ask for more.

Ask the Community - Frost and Float Spa

Is the water filtered between uses?

Very fishy that there's no answers. As a business owner, you would think such important hygienic measures would be disclosed in the description on the website.

I loved the included classes and the variety of classes. I just couldn't make the class times work for my with my work schedule anymore. The space was clean and the front desk staff was helpful. According to the club's website, membership terms, and all publicly available policies, there is absolutely no mention of any additional fee for a child to participate in Family Swim, especially not during the 4-5 PM session. Despite this, today we were denied entry and were told that we must pay an additional fee -- the staff even mentioned $10 for the child, and later $80 -- although none of these fees appear anywhere in the official documentation. When we were stopped at the entrance, we asked the front desk staff to show us exactly where on the website it states that a child requires an additional payment for Family Swim from 4-5 PM. The receptionist looked but could not find any such information. She then sent us to the manager. The manager spoke to us in an extremely rude and dismissive manner. Instead of providing proof or pointing to written policies, he simply said: "If we let everyone in, we will destroy our business." This statement was made sharply, with a clear tone of hostility, and with no attempt to justify or explain the alleged fee. It was obvious that his decision was not based on any written rule but purely on his own judgment at the moment. From a legal perspective: Charging undisclosed, non-transparent fees violates basic consumer protection principles, including unfair or deceptive practices under Massachusetts law. Denying access to a service that is already included in a paid family membership constitutes improper performance of contractual obligations. Introducing new fees "on the spot," without written policy or prior notice, is inconsistent with standards of good faith and fair dealing. We left extremely disappointed. This club demonstrates that it can invent new charges at any moment, deny access to members, and treat customers with open disrespect. We do not recommend Waverly Oak Club to anyone.

This place is affordable for the area, but the fitness area is lacking. They have the basics and some machines, but the area is not maintained, and things often go unfixed for many months at a time. It is clear that the club makes all of its money from the Tennis and Pool centers and caters to those areas. On one occasion, one of the cable machines was broken, and a member took the part home to weld it back together, knowing that management was never going to fix it. On another occasion, the hammstring curl was broken and out of order for more than 8 months. There is a sauna and steamroom in the men's lockerroom that have not been turned back on since the pandemic. Overall, the fitness area is serviceable but dated. The positive is that there is a small group of members, so there is almost always space available. The membership is very nice and welcoming for the most part; there is one unstable person who slams equipment, and management has not held him accountable.
