The spa doesn't have separate rooms, rather it's one massive hall, separated by cloth curtains. Which means you can hear EVERYTHING!! You hear the opening of packages, the bathroom, the customer next to you saying "oh my god yea", the staff walking back n forth, the tap running in their kitchen... everything!!! To make this worse, the massage itself was terrible. They placed a towel on my back and massaged me over the towel in an elbow 'poking' manner rather than a normal kneading style. I left the spa feeling rather bruised than relaxed. This was the second time I've had a terrible experience at Nomad - will definitely not be returning.

It included a great combination of stretching, pressure point work, and traditional massage, which left me feeling incredibly relaxed and refreshed. Ana was amazing - so hospitable, kind, and very attentive throughout the session. She gave the perfect amount of pressure and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She asked for permission before standing on me and was great about communicating what areas were tense and where I could benefit from stretching. Overall, such a professional and relaxing experience. 10/10 recommend this place -don't even second guess it, just go!

A friend and I have used this place many times over the years. It's been good in the past but this…read moretime around it was surprisingly and disappointingly terrible. The staff was unprofessional, bathroom needed cleaning, and the massage was mediocre. During our massage, the two masseuses kept talking to each other loudly in Chinese. No idea what was being said but it wasn't relaxing. After the massage, we paid in cash (as they prefer) and the staff promptly and loudly demanded a minimum 20% tip. They were unapologetic about it. Shocking to me - I love this place…read more I walked in and it looked very sketchy. The place was somewhat dingy and outdated. I was greeted at the door by a lady that spoke very few English words. I debating leaving but elected to stay. I pointed at the menu and asked for an hour ($60). She called someone on her cell phone and handed the phone to me...I'm starting to think something bad could happen but he asks what I want and I tell him and hand the phone back. She talks for a minute in what I believe was Korean and walks me back. I got ready and she comes in. She said hello to me several times which was kind of funny. At first I thought I was being tricked as the massage started out not so good. Then out of nowhere it turns into super massage, She's bending my arm to massage pressure points, focusing on areas that she must have know were a bit beaten up, and she used her chin in combination with her hands for a fully head massage (OK that reads bad but its not). I fell asleep a few times and I know I went over the hour. When it was done, I asked if I could charge it. She called the guy and he came over - Guessing he has other businesses. I asked if he could put 20 on the card for a tip. Apparently tipping isn't the norm here as both were shocked. Great massage.
