Sun Massage has hands down been my favorite place in Watertown for the past year. Anytime I come in with a sports injury, I don't even have to explain it... they just find it and fix it! I have seriously never had such consistently amazing massages in my life. Worth every penny and more! read more

I came in for a headache and left feeling much better. Snow was kind, asked all the right questions, including how the pressure was, and was responsive to my needs. She adapted beautifully to my request for lighter pressure (medium), and hit all the right spots! Lastly, it couldn't have been easier to book an appointment. I woke up with the headache, went to their site, booked the appointment for one hour later, and when I walked in she knew what to do! I can't wait to come back. read more

This customer service is HORRIBLE. The therapist I was scheduled with today kept pulling at my hair tie. I don't know why- my hair was out of the way. I retied my hair to get it out of the way. The the therapist proceeded to shout at the top of her lungs for someone. When no one answered she opened the door and screamed down the hallway for another person to come in. Mind you, I am in my birthday suit with a tissue paper thin sheet over me. Now there are two people in the room with the door wide open doing who knows what with the clock radio. THEN we get back on to it- the therapist leaves AGAIN!!! Three exits in less than six minutes with ZERO explanations!!! What in the world??? Stay far far away!! Not relaxing or therapeutic! read more

Our go to place for massages and they never disappoint! Everyone we have worked with is kind and friendly- we always leave relaxed. Parking available, rooms simple and relaxing- great experience every time! read more

I came to visit a friend for the weekend and she recommended this place and it was very relaxing. The staff was very nice and very welcoming. We did our booking online but you can also call in. I would disregard any negative comments only because you should come and experience this place yourself. read more

Great massage for a great price. Very clean and welcoming. Felt very relaxed and it was easy to make an appointment. Looking forward to coming back! read more

I highly recommend Sun Massage. The place is super clean and organized. Everyone here is welcoming and greeting with warm tone. Sun massage is the best massage place I've ever been. I've been going there pretty much every week or every other week for the past few months even if it takes me 40 mins if not more to get there. It all worth it！Everytime I came out with a therapeutical and healing experience. She's absolutely experienced，professional and caring. I recommend my friends to go there too. I certainly will keep going back because it's extremely hard to find a good massage place as good as it here. read more

I highly recommend Sun Massage Therapy! I have had a crazy neck/back pain this last week and was desperate to have it worked out . . . I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in for later that afternoon. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back soon! read more

I called a couple hours ahead of time and had a great massage with Mia. She did a great job and queried places that might need extra help as she worked. Whenever I gave feedback, she made the change on the ball and was consistent. They also do guasha and cupping, which I have had a hard time finding around here. Pricing is straightforward, just fyi there is a $3 charge for credit/debit cards, presumably to cover the card fee, nbd. Will definitely be back. read more

I went to this place because of the reviews. I was greeted by Sammy whom seem to be more concerned on the price then the type of massage I wanted. It seemed as though the price depends on your massage pressure. Then she made me pay first which was interesting. I am a massage junkie therefore I've had great and also terrible massages. Finally we get into the room. I think to myself maybe it will be better. Lol it was good for a few minutes until she decides to yell back and forth with a co worker as she was already massaging me. Really! Wait it gets better, the phone rings. She leaves right in the middle of the massage. Phone rings again and she leaves again. I was about to walk out put had already paid $90 for service. Half way through the massage I noticed she was not being consistent with her technique. Massaging my body differently on both sides and elbowing me like her life depended on it. Needless to say I needed and was looking forward to a relaxing massage but didn't get it. Given this experience I was not going to tip her. My option on tips is if you give good service you get awesome tips. since that was not the case and I will not be going back I gave her a $10 tip. Which was more than what I should have given all of this. As I am leaving she says "that's all you giving me? Your supposed to give me more". WTH are you serious I looked at her and left. In conclusion this woman is most likely not a certified massage therapist. Had she been the experience would have been different. I am posting this so other are warned prior to going. I am hoping that the owner reads this and improves in their customer service training. Had she been there I would have spoken to her but when I did ask for her I was told she is off today. Woke up next day with bruises ! Very upset read more

Sun Massage Therapy - Massage Therapy Near Me - Watertown, Massachusetts

Julia is a master therapist. Full knowledge of the body, excellent pressure, stretching, total professional. Rare ability. Top notch. Had only 45 Minutes as I arrived late, Immediately knew this is an exceptional professional. Next time will go the full 90 minutes and make an appointment. read more

Decided to get a massage here on a whim without really knowing what to expect. The office was extremely clean and professional. I received the 60 min healing massage from Emma. Overall a nice experience. Compared to other massages I've received, this one was a very different style - much more focused on deep, sustained pressure and a lot of sharper movements that reminded me of chiropractor adjustments. This made me a bit nervous since it was clear Emma did not understand when I described a pre-existing back problem. Not really my cup of tea tbh. read more

This was my first time working with Julia and from the first touch I already knew she was a true professional. I chose deep tissue massage with a chiropractic element. The room was clean, the foot of the bed was warm, and overall it was a very comfortable experience. read more

What an amazing experience here! My fiancé decided on a couples massage for 90 minutes and were not disappointed. The area was clean and organized. They really hit in areas where I didn't know I needed, such as my knees and neck. Their techniques were strong and truly amazing! Will definitely be going back. read more

We had a great experience with the couples massage! Very professional and they did a thorough job targeting all areas!

I have been here many many times (2 years so far) and have been helped by several different therapists helping with my back, neck or knee pains. They have been really helpful and addressed my issues. Now it has been a habit for me to come here on the regular basis as it truly helps with my body improvement!! I would recommend people who would love a great massage service treatment (They do offer other services as well) consider this place, this is by far the best place among six different places I have been to around this area!! read more

I've had fantastic massage there from Julia. Also, I really got problem areas worked on by Emma with her Tui Na technique. My leg, sides and shoulders are no longer tight and are now pain free. Wonderful experience. Clean, professional space with exceptional people working there. Thank you! read more

Would give this place 10 stars if I could. I never leave reviews but since moving to boston to work as a nurse I've had a lot of back pain and every time I leave I feel SO much better. Julia is truly so gifted! read more

I highly recommend Cici at Sun Massage Therapy in Watertown. She is amazing, and one of the best masseuses I've ever been to! Not only is she professional and friendly, she literally has the strongest hands ever!! Cici is kind, accommodating with her schedule, and great at finding my knots and problem areas. I walk out after massages feeling refreshed, looser, and content. Thank you Cici for all your hard work!! read more

Fantastic place, very professional. Been going to Julia for 3 years. Always feel great when I leave, she knows how to focus on problem areas. Very knowledgeable when it comes to injuries and how to stimulate the area for faster healing. Flexible appointments time. read more

The owner is very nice, soft spoken and professional. Pricing is simple and reasonable. Several parts of my body needed help. Feeling better after the visit. Will go back next month. If you are looking for a massage place, this is where I would recommend :) Oh and they open 7 days a week!! read more

I was referred to Julia by a friend and all the things she said were true. The facility is immaculately clean, appointment times are flexible (she does weekends/evenings), the price is affordable, and Julia is wonderful. She knows which pressure points to hit. My low back and neck pain noticeably improved after 3 visits to Julia, and I plan to continue going. read more

Absolute best therapeutic massage I've ever had. Deep tissue using methods not experienced anywhere in the Boston area or Bay Area. Also, the review written by 'Rita' is factually incorrect. Money is never taken upfront and rarely even discussed. Extremely professional in every way. read more

I went here today for the first time. At other massage places, my back starts spasming painfully immediately after the massage. That didn't happen here. Julia was very professional, and seemed to know exactly what my body needed. I made another appointment immediately. read more

Truly the best massages in the overall boston area. Both massage therapists take the time to ask about your ailments and pain. I have been having alot of knots and sciatic pain and i want to give Julia a special shoutout for alleviating the pain with her customized massage techniques. Both places dont rush you out (even at the fanciest) of places and ensures that you had adequate time to get up from the most wonderful massage. Thank you so so so much! Sun Massage is also very flexible with their appointments which I truly appreciate and make things work. read more

Strongly recommended this place, quite and clean. Cici who works there is very professional, and know exactly what my pain points are. I had a very sever lower back pain which got relieved after three times visits. read more

This is my first time to find a message center for my broken neck. I'm very luck to find this place to heal and relax my neck and back. My therapist is Julia and I highly recommend for her service which is very skilled and professional. This is a right place for other people need to rehab muscular injuries. read more

I was referred to Julia by another therapist who felt she could help my shoulder pain and tightness. I've had adhesive capsulitis for almost 5 years, and have tried several methods of treatment, none of which have had any lasting effect. After a few sessions with Julia my shoulder has noticeably improved. She was able to diagnose my problem immediately and what areas needed treatment. She is very accommodating with her schedule and very friendly and professional. I highly recommend her. read more

As far as a professional massage goes, Sun Massage ranks at the top. All the masseuses are highly trained and skilled. The rooms are clean and fresh, with the proper heat and ambiance. The ease of appointment is smooth as well. But what separates this place from others is that they inquire what might be ailing you prior to your massage so they can concentrate on those specific areas, as well as your preferred level of pressure. The rates are also very reasonable and they take credit cards as well as cash. read more

I had the best massage ever. The 70 min session is so relaxed that I almost fell asleep. I've always had neck/shoulder strains and the massage really soothed it. A big thank you to Feng! (and my husband is pretty happy with Julia) Both ladies are super friendly, polite and professional. Will visit again! read more

Julia is amazing it is very clean and everyone there is professional especially with Covid it is very kept clean and I suffer with migraines and back pain and she has been so helpful between cupping acupuncture and massage. read more

I went in for a half hour massage at 4:00. The massage was finished at 4:27 not to mention she took 2 phone calls while I was on the table. She also asked for tip before the massage even started. She was nice enough but other than that, not a great experience. read more

Once you walk into this establishment their is a list of services and prices on the wall. Whichever service you choose, they ask you to tip first, which is unprofessional. I choose a deep tissue service and the person who works on the first door on the right went through all the motions of a massage...without giving me a massage. She literally was rubbing my skin as if she thought I wasn't going to notice and then carried on like that for the whole session. I got the distinct vibe that she didn't want to be there. I honestly wouldn't recommend going to this place. There goes my overpriced tip that I'll never get back. read more
