Today I had a much needed. I can't take it anymore Massage. I've been here many times before Jessica is my favorite. I remember the first time I had a massage by her, she transported me into a different universe.. Highly recommend! If you pay with cash, save $10 . read more

Came in w tight shoulders and neck pain and Jack did great job w good pressure. Like their signature style of adding few minutes of hot stone, some stretching, and aromatherapy at the end. It's a casual, Asian decor little house at the back of a driveway. Not elegant but clean. Bathroom could use fixing up and place would feel little nicer. Friend went to Gigi and said she was excellent too. We both want to return. read more

I have now been going to Thai Villa for two years (twice a month for 1/2 hour, October- May, with Jessy). I honestly think the massages have helped with my arthritis as I rarely have any back pain anymore. I now get the Thai Villa massage which seems to be a combination of Thai and Swedish massage, after starting out with the gentler Aromatherapy massage. Feels wonderful and has increased my general health. Highly recommended. read more

Amazing experience! Would highly recommend the head massage as well. Definitely a hidden gem.

This is by far the best massage I have had. The massuese put their heart and soul in the massage and you walk away a completely new person.

Amazing! Heavenly! I wanted to try a new massage place in Newton after two back-to-back work trips where my neck, shoulders, and upper back felt really cruddy. I've only had a Thai-style massage once before but the approach and moves seem similar to the Chinese tui-na. The hour I booked flew by - I loved the hot stones and heated bed, especially as it starts getting colder. The peppermint oil head massage was *chef's kiss. This is a very no-frills spot but everything was clean and I walked out of there feeling a whole lot better (plus they offer a cup of hot tea at the end). I appreciated that my masseuse asked at the beginning if I wanted it light, medium, hard. I'm a huge fan of deep-tissue massages but I've also learned the hard way that if you ask for hard, you will get pummeled, and medium ended up being just right. They give a small discount if you pay in cash. I definitely want to try the scalp/head treatment next. You can book online but if you want to make a day-of appointment, you'll need to call ahead. Prices are reasonable. The location is a tad tricky to spot, there's no signage from the street and you have to keep an eye out for the long narrow driveway. The spa is at the end, with free parking. I turned too early and found myself in someone's garage, whoops. read more

My husband and I have had great couple massages here over the years. Very personable and thoughtful staff.

I found this place on yelp yesterday and OH MY GOD! I wish I would have known about this place months ago . For starters I'm still sitting in the parking lot 15min after my massage trying to regain my energy to drive home. This place is amazing. I booked yesterday and today Jen did a full body 1 hour massage and focused a tad more on my back/shoulders as I had a bunch of knots. Great pressure and the oil was warm. Everything felt really good. The place itself is very clean and private rooms. I was in the Lavender room upstairs. The massage bed also has built in heater to keep you warm. Jen thank you! I hate Im moving soon and heard about this place so late! If your looking for a great and professional massage place - COME HERE! Alright... let me drive home now lol . read more

Thai Villa Spa - Wonderful experience. One of the best massages I've ever had and I left feeling relaxed and like my knots had been addressed. - Massage Near Me - Newton, Massachusetts

My husband & I have now been here a few times and we absolutely love it here. The staff is all fantastic and really listen to your needs/amount of pressure you want. Highly recommend to anyone! The only problem you would face, if you are new to this location is where the GPS takes you. The address is 169R. It's the house BEHIND the one your GPS will take you. I have gotten massages here twice so far. Really enjoyed it. It's a no frills place. But the massage was really good and in my opinion at a great price point. The driveway is hard to find since it's not marked on the street. I was able to find it via the gps. They have free parking right in their private lot. read more

One the best massage experiences we have had here in the US. We did a couples thai villa massage, and the pressure was perfect. I felt like my upper back knots were precisely addressed. Great experience. read more

I had a lovely massage. The atmosphere was wonderful and it was very soothing and professional. I felt like a new person! The driveway is hard to spot so be careful! read more

Solid massage. The only negative is the road to get here; it's a bit confusing and narrow. I got an hour of the thai villa massage and it was magical. It was a mix of thai, shiatsu, hot stone, etc... It was great. They offer a cup of hot tea afterwards. Reasonable price as well and seamless online booking. read more

I went to Thai Villa Spa yesterday to get the Thai villa special massage. The spa was a little difficult to find, but I looked on their website and was able to figure out to go down a driveway and there was parking in front of the spa. When I arrived, I called to let them know I was there, and someone came and took my temperature. My massage was with Jack and he was amazing! He told me to let him know if I wanted more or less pressure, and he asked if there were specific places I wanted him to focus on. Jack wore a mask the entire time, and he told me that everyone who worked at the spa was vaccinated. After the massage, when I went to pay, I was also given tea. I'll definitely be scheduling another appointment in the future! read more

So glad I made the appointment at Thai Villa Spa. My neck and upper back were killing me and by the end of the massage I already felt more mobile. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It was my first experience with Thai style massage and loved the assisted stretching that was integrated into the session. I will definitely be back! read more

I've had 3 massages here in the past, all very good. However today I was very disappointed. The room I was put in was so cold. I asked twice for it to be made warmer but the space heater didn't do much. I couldn't relax my muscles because I was that cold. When I got dressed I saw that the thermostat was at 60 degrees! No wonder I was cold. No accommodation was made when I told the woman at the front desk that I was too cold to enjoy my hour long freeze session. I won't be back. read more

I had just a little time before work and my neck and shoulders were really bothering me. I decided to try a new place that was close to work and I am SO glad I did. I only had a half hour and I wish I was able to do the 90 minutes I usually do. Jack was my therapist and it was probably the best massage I have gotten ever... and I get a lot of massages. He was super friendly, welcoming and professional. The spa was clean, warm and cozy which was nice on a cold winter day. I can't wait to go back to see Jack for more than a half hour... he seriously worked absolute magic in 30 min and I can't wait to see what he can do in 90! I feel like I walked out of there 3 inches taller and 10 years younger. read more

I am a fairly new customer during the COVID-19 era. This place is fairly close to my house, so I thought I'd give it a chance... This place is fantastic! Everyone here does a great job, and the staff is friendly, creates a safe environment, and finishes every session with me feeling relaxed and recharged !! I highly recommend. I love going here ! read more

This is my first time writing a review, although I've been using yelp for years. All to say, I was compelled to write this after the Amazing massage that I had. I have been getting massages regularly each month since 2013 as I carry most of my stress in my back and shoulders. This was the BEST massage I have ever had in my life! They were able to book me very last minute (same day) for their signature 90 min Thai Villa Massage. Professional, clean, and clearly incredibly skilled. I appreciated that the massage therapist not only focused on my stated trouble areas, but was able to adjust by applying more pressure when needed. I'll be canceling my membership to my regular spot and coming back for sure. Highly recommend! read more

Friendly staff and the ambience is great! The Thai Villa Massage would probably have been 5-stars amazing (Tammy was really wonderful and accommodating) except that it was so cold! The experience itself was 3 stars, but the staff brought it up to 4. Something was up with their heat and electricity so the massage bed was cold when I got on it, and every 15 minutes unfortunately, I had to keep asking for more heat/more blankets/change our massage. I felt like I was going to catch a cold there and my arms and legs were covered with goosebumps and were frozen, even with the hot stones. Tammy was great and brought a heater in, but it was still chilly. I couldn't fully enjoy the massage because half the time, I needed to make a request to be more comfortable. It was my birthday yesterday, so they were sweet enough to give me a little birthday present. I would definitely recommend a massage here and plan on going back... I hope that next time, I'll be able to fully relax and enjoy the experience read more

As a returning customer here, I can say that it's one of my favorite Thai massage spot around Boston! Mainly because good price+ spacious and clean rooms+ parking! Depending on who you get, the massage seems a little different every time(different style/area of focus). Overall, I really love this place. read more

The Thai Herbal hit compress massage... I could honestly just stop here because the massage speaks for itself but for those of you who are just dying for details lol.... I had planned to go back to Main Street Massage (which I also love but they were booked so I went on a quest for a place who could do a same day booking). I found myself at Thai Villa Spa. Tammy was wonderful. I didn't know that I needed to call ahead for the compress massage but they went ahead and were able to accommodate. She took care of all the problem areas even the difficult ones like the pectoral muscles and serr. anterior muscles on my left side. I honestly felt like I was in one of those movies like Wanted or a martial arts movie where after the fight, you get all the special treatment and taken care of so that you are nearly good as new for the next day. Without a doubt, I will be returning probably for the exact same massage because I liked it so much. And to top it off, I got water and tea afterwards and a little mint and a little piece of chocolate. So moral of the day... when you wake up, your car doesn't and you end up having to get a new battery.... don't sweat it... just grab something productive to do at the car shop and then head over to Thai Villa Spa for a massage :) read more

Have been a frequent visitor at this spa now for the last two years. This place is tucked inside a house that is converted into a spa with no frills but excellent service and experience. They were able to fit me in the same day after I woke up with terrible back pain. I'll admit, pulling up to it I thought I had made a bit of a mistake since it's literally behind some other building and seems like it could be a little sketchy but once your inside it's very obvious you're in the right place. Despite it being the very end of the day (literally the last appointment and have had half asses massages in the past in a similar scenario) the massage I got was amazing- Jack gave me an incredibly massage with great pressure and was super attentive. I can't recommend this place enough read more

I was so excited to book a massage to celebrate being fully vaxxed, and Thai Villa Spa did not disappoint!! Like other reviewers have said, the place is a little hard to find as it is tucked behind 169 Adams (go down the driveway). Customer service is fantastic, everyone I interacted with was very polite and helpful. I had Jessy for my 60min Thai Villa massage and it was FANTASTIC! A relaxing and therapeutic mix of "regular" massage techniques, hot stones and Thai massage. I took advantage of the cash daytime discount, and only paid $65 (not including tip). I also received tea in a paper cup after, which was the perfect thing to wake me up after such a soothing hour. I will be back monthly -- Thai Villa Spa is a hidden gem in Newton and definitely earns all the 5 star reviews! read more
