I have now been going to Thai Villa for two years (twice a month for 1/2 hour, October- May, with Jessy). I honestly think the massages have helped with my arthritis as I rarely have any back pain anymore. I now get the Thai Villa massage which seems to be a combination of Thai and Swedish massage, after starting out with the gentler Aromatherapy massage. I've only had a Thai-style massage once before but the approach and moves seem similar to the Chinese tui-na. The hour I booked flew by - I loved the hot stones and heated bed, especially as it starts getting colder. The peppermint oil head massage was *chef's kiss. This is a very no-frills spot but everything was clean and I walked out of there feeling a whole lot better (plus they offer a cup of hot tea at the end). I appreciated that my masseuse asked at the beginning if I wanted it light, medium, hard. I'm a huge fan of deep-tissue massages but I've also learned the hard way that if you ask for hard, you will get pummeled, and medium ended up being just right. They give a small discount if you pay in cash. I definitely want to try the scalp/head treatment next. You can book online but if you want to make a day-of appointment, you'll need to call ahead. Prices are reasonable. The location is a tad tricky to spot, there's no signage from the street and you have to keep an eye out for the long narrow driveway. The spa is at the end, with free parking. For starters I'm still sitting in the parking lot 15min after my massage trying to regain my energy to drive home. This place is amazing. I booked yesterday and today Jen did a full body 1 hour massage and focused a tad more on my back/shoulders as I had a bunch of knots. Great pressure and the oil was warm. I've had 3 massages here in the past, all very good. However today I was very disappointed. The room I was put in was so cold. I asked twice for it to be made warmer but the space heater didn't do much. I couldn't relax my muscles because I was that cold. When I got dressed I saw that the thermostat was at 60 degrees! No wonder I was cold. No accommodation was made when I told the woman at the front desk that I was too cold to enjoy my hour long freeze session. I won't be back. read more

I went to Thai Villa Spa yesterday to get the Thai villa special massage. The spa was a little difficult to find, but I looked on their website and was able to figure out to go down a driveway and there was parking in front of the spa. When I arrived, I called to let them know I was there, and someone came and took my temperature. My massage was with Jack and he was amazing! He told me to let him know if I wanted more or less pressure, and he asked if there were specific places I wanted him to focus on. Jack wore a mask the entire time, and he told me that everyone who worked at the spa was vaccinated. After the massage, when I went to pay, I was also given tea. I only had a half hour and I wish I was able to do the 90 minutes I usually do. Jack was my therapist and it was probably the best massage I have gotten ever... and I get a lot of massages. He was super friendly, welcoming and professional. The spa was clean, warm and cozy which was nice on a cold winter day. I have been getting massages regularly each month since 2013 as I carry most of my stress in my back and shoulders. This was the BEST massage I have ever had in my life! I appreciated that the massage therapist not only focused on my stated trouble areas, but was able to adjust by applying more pressure when needed. Friendly staff and the ambience is great! The Thai Villa Massage would probably have been 5-stars amazing (Tammy was really wonderful and accommodating) except that it was so cold! The experience itself was 3 stars, but the staff brought it up to 4. Something was up with their heat and electricity so the massage bed was cold when I got on it, and every 15 minutes unfortunately, I had to keep asking for more heat/more blankets/change our massage. I felt like I was going to catch a cold there and my arms and legs were covered with goosebumps and were frozen, even with the hot stones. Tammy was great and brought a heater in, but it was still chilly. I couldn't fully enjoy the massage because half the time, I needed to make a request to be more comfortable. It was my birthday yesterday, so they were sweet enough to give me a little birthday present. I would definitely recommend a massage here and plan on going back... The Thai Herbal hit compress massage... I could honestly just stop here because the massage speaks for itself but for those of you who are just dying for details lol.... I had planned to go back to Main Street Massage (which I also love but they were booked so I went on a quest for a place who could do a same day booking). I found myself at Thai Villa Spa. Tammy was wonderful. I didn't know that I needed to call ahead for the compress massage but they went ahead and were able to accommodate. She took care of all the problem areas even the difficult ones like the pectoral muscles and serr. anterior muscles on my left side. I honestly felt like I was in one of those movies like Wanted or a martial arts movie where after the fight, you get all the special treatment and taken care of so that you are nearly good as new for the next day. Without a doubt, I will be returning probably for the exact same massage because I liked it so much. And to top it off, I got water and tea afterwards and a little mint and a little piece of chocolate. So moral of the day... when you wake up, your car doesn't and you end up having to get a new battery.... don't sweat it... just grab something productive to do at the car shop and then head over to Thai Villa Spa for a massage :) read more

I'll admit, pulling up to it I thought I had made a bit of a mistake since it's literally behind some other building and seems like it could be a little sketchy but once your inside it's very obvious you're in the right place.
