I have always ordered food from this place but this time we ate at the restaurant for my friend's birthday celebration. The service was super prompt. The restaurant was big and spacious and pretty neat compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the same area. We ordered tons of food to share, on our turning table. Everything was good, my top dishes were shrimp pepper and eggplant general Tao. Definitely recommended.

    Lamb in XO sauce

Traveling from Florida and wanted authentic Chinese food, Had the sliced lamb in XO sauce, Beijing pork chops , Chinese water spinach & steamed scallops in the shell Excellent food and service was quick and friendly!

A nice place to have lunch in between classes. The service is fast, the food is inexpensive (they have lunch specials for 8$ includes soup and meal), and they accept cards. I got the general tao chicken with a won ton soup and Adam got the sesame chicken with the spicy soup. The spicy soup was too spicy! I recommend getting the won ton. Both of our meals were good. The little salad on the side was the only thing that looked a bit bleh. It was just lettuce on a plate so nothing appetizing about that. I'd go back!

Pork belly and Singapore noodles (very bland, no seasonings)

If only I could give this place zero star. I literally just got done eating from here and I have to say, the servers were RUDE! The first server was upset because I said, I wasn't ready to order so she walked off(started speaking Chinese) and have the guy come take our order. Then I asked to substitute shrimp for chicken and he wasn't happy. He looked annoyed even when my boyfriend asked for a brisk tea. Horrible customer service. For food, it was also horrible. The pork belly was very bland and the noodle was also bland. I usually pack leftover but I didn't even bother. The sweet and sour soup also tasted water down. I can understand why they are so slow, bad food and horrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come eat here. We were the only customers(then finally saw two customers walked in). Lastly, when I paid upfront. He had the nerve to tell me that tips wasn't included so I told him tips is on the table. I am not a bad tipper, I usually tip well but sorry, for services that bad, he deserved the tip I left for him. Yes, it was even less than 15%. For someone to provide me this horrible service shouldn't even get anything in the first place.

    Vegetarian Tom Yum.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, the option of having soups in small, medium and large is particularly appealing and the Tom Yum was oh so very good indeed! Dou Miao is one of my favorite Chinese vegtables and PM did it the best so far in my experience, not salty at all with a light garlicky flavor that was simply scrumptious. The egg rolls were a little disappointing, quite bland, so I wouldn't order them again. Table service was very responsive; food arrived quickly from the kitchen and the price point was inexpensive imo. This little resto will stay on the rotation for sure when I am visiting the city again.

Randomly went to this restaurant for lunch and had the Pad Thai and I was amazed by the portions as well as the consistency. It was delicious! Would recommend it to all. Service is very nice and my server asked me for any allergies. It's a hidden gem but the food is good.

I took the menu of the day. Kung Pao Chicken and Won Ton soup. It was cheap and good.

One of the best places to go for authentic Chinese food in Montreal in my opinion! Affordable prices, quick service, and consistent food! Everything is very tasty and I keep coming back for more...PM is where I go when I need comfort food. Their Japanese tofu with eggplant is one of my favourites, along with Buddha's feast!

The hand pulled noodles here are so good. My partner and I got the small bowls (braised beef and lamb noodle soups), but the portions are HUGE. Highly recommend going for noodle style 6 (thickest, more chewy) or 4. We also got the pork and cabbage dumplings, which are super juicy. This meal was very filling; we could've done without the dumplings, but they're too good to pass up. Service was ok since only one person was handling most FOH procedures. Atmosphere was also fine. It was just really warm, even with the multiple fans running (open doors, no AC), but it was to be expected with the pots of noodles cooking in the front. One important thing to note: this place is cash‑only, and there's an ATM right at the entrance. That was literally the first thing the employee told us when we walked in, which felt a bit off‑putting. The dumplings themselves were great, and we ordered beers to go with the meal. However, the payment experience was not good. He quoted the total as 70 CAD and told us that was 62 USD since we said we had USD. When we calculated it ourselves, it came out to 49 USD. After we pointed that out, he claimed the "foreign transaction fees go up and down with inflation," which didn't make sense. It felt like we were almost being overcharged. So we ended up getting CAD from the ATM machine outside and paid him, however, we didn't appreciate his dishonesty and felt like he was trying to scam us.

Very few American-Chinese//Canadian-Chinese dishes on the menu - though they exist. This may be a regional Chinese restaurant but I do not recognize the region. These are the most interesting fried mushrooms you will ever have. They are also the richest fried mushrooms you will ever have. You will adore every single bite - and if you are lucky you can eat 1/3 of a serving before being totally full. I believe the trick here is that the batter is 100 percent egg yolk no white no nothing else. They also do a salt and pepper tofu that is creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. How often do you see that? Braised seafood in ginger and garlic is the same dish you see in many other Chinese establishments but is lovely here. The squid is tough but the ginger is to die for. I was expecting a more flavored experience and maybe that is not what they do or I could have ordered differently. The menu is huge so it is hard to know where to start. We went here because of the good Yelp reviews. Were we arrived in Chinatown there were many other places that looked great, so we loitered at the door for a minute while deciding what to do. As we loitered a family came out and noticed us and asked if were were going to Keung Kee. We said we were thinking about it and they said just go, it is the best restaurant in Chinatown. Sold. We went in, up the stairs, waited a bit, and got a table. This is the kid of place you need to bring a lot of people because that is whet it is built for, the menu is extensive, and the portions are huge. We puzzled over the menu then ordered our food. We wanted a bottle of cold sake and the waiter brought it in an ice bucket. Nice. We started with the pork dumplings. The dumplings were very goof but came in a hot thick sweet peanut sauce. With a lighter sauce these would have been outstanding. The scallop was huge and had a bunch of stuff on it. There was some good scallop flavor but it was masked with all the stuff that tasted like old oil. The noodle dish was good but also had some old oil flavor coming from somewhere. All the meats and vegetables were nice and fresh but the good sauce I think was the source of the oil. We saw a table next to us had the pork chops and was asked, what are those? So we got that too. The chops were thin bone in with a batter fried then soaked in a vinegar sauce. These would have been good as our only item with a bowl of rice. Our co-eaters there had many good looking things. I would give this a try again but would bring a few more people so we could try more stuff. Total for all that including the sake was $100 Canadian. Not bad!
