Stop by to get this restaurant to try after my friend recommended it. Unfortunately, the menu was short, when we arrived, we were told anything. Anything fried was not available because the fryer was not working. Our name is waitlist to be seated and read approximately 15 minutes, then decided to eat at the bar because it was faster. A solid restaurant! We went there for a family gathering so a larger group. Easy to find. There was plenty of parking and ample seating. Not sure if someone made a reservation. The menu was large and varied. It is always a win when everyone can find something they like on the menu. The servers were efficient and there when you needed them. On 5/17, we planned our day on Oahu, and made reservations at this place. On 19 May, three hours before our reservation time after a long day, I received a text saying our reservation was canceled. No explanation. No nothing. I called. No answer. I called again. No answer. I checked online. Nothing. Pretty irritating. We decided to drive over anyway. After forty-some-odd minutes driving through gridlock afternoon traffic, we pulled into the lot and parked. We got out and started walking toward what we thought was the entrance, when a woman rolled up in a car and told us they were closed. Renovations or something she was told after trying to go in. We drove over to some nearby picnic benches to relax a spell and saw three or four more cars drive up and leave. Another was pulling up as we left. There was no indication online that their restaurant was closed. Fumbling through their automated phone attendant system got us nowhere. They brought all of the food out except for the pregnant lady's food, and made her wait fifteen minutes until they finally brought it out. We rode the rail then looked for someplace eat around the Aloha Stadium station. Restaurant 604 looked interesting, tucked away in Pearl Harbor and within walking distance. It's located right on the waterfront and you wouldn't feel like you're looking into Pearl Harbor. You're overlooking a dock of sailboats and the water, it reminded me of the view of Koko Marina. The open air atmosphere is very casual, not too noisy and comfortable. The menu has a nice selection of sandwiches, appetizers, soups and salads. We ordered the grilled ahi club sandwich and fish tacos. The grilled ahi sandwich was good; moist and tasty. It is Cajun spiced, but not hot, with a garlic aioli sauce. It also comes with skinny fries. The fish tacos were yummy but nothing special. Service was excellent and I would eat here again if I'm in the area. Overall, taking into account the view, atmosphere, food and service its worthy of four stars. read more

We came in on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy. A few tables open here and there, but most taken. I love the atmosphere. Open air. On the water. Amazing view. Breeze blowing. Hawaiian radio music playing. It was lovely. Loud, but lovely. What wasn't, was the service. It's been a long time since I've had service that bad. She straight up forgot we ordered entrees and tried to give us our check after our appetizers. It took over 30 minutes just to get our drink orders. She never checked on us. My cup sat empty for well over 20 minutes and I never saw her to even ask to refill it. She didn't even tell us her name. From sit to leave the whole experience took two and a half hours! The food was hit or miss. Garlic parm fries? HIT! Curry chicken? HIT BUT the chicken was over done and it couldn't even be cut with the provided butter knife. I had to borrow a steak knife. Fish and chips? MISS. They were so dry and over done. I think they bake them? Not good. My friend took one bite and was completely turned off. She would have mentioned something, but again, we never saw the waitress. So it was mentioned when we got the checks, and she was nice enough to take them off the bill and box up something new. My brownie skillet was also burnt and dry. The peanut butter cake was delightful though! I'll be back to give it another chance, but the first impression for anything other than the ambiance was less than stellar. read more

I've eaten here before but never reviewed. The place, as usual, is packed and crowded with loud live music and sports playing on TVs. I was seated at a big table with a large party. They are able to do a single check at a time for big parties or tell the servers to group people so you pay for what you buy. I had the coconut shrimp side and a loco moco with mac salad as a side. This was a classic plate that was not too big or small and just the right portion to finish without feeling overly full. The food is always good here and you know what you're getting. I'll be back again when invited by a large group as that's when I normally eat here. read more

Service also was attentive, polite and quick and the food was way way better than all the other times I've been here over many many years. Which is pretty easy because everyday is almost a nice day, lucky we live Hawaii. All the foods we got were so good. The 604 burger was a regular burger with garlic fries. But satisfied our hunger. Ahi club didn't seem appetizing but that first bite was yum!!! The ahi is seasoned with Cajun so it made a burger stand out. The firecracker chicken was super good! They put a lot of jalapeños which I loved, and it was so good. The soy sauce that compliments the chicken was so yummy. The Pupu steak was also very good, fatty and buttery. We ordered 2. I'll just leave it at that lol The fish and chips was nice and light and crispy. The tartar sauce complimented the fish very well. Ended our meal with a brownie sundae. It's ok. I was on the waitlist, but still yet, the check in hostesses were kind of not so friendly, and it wasn't that busy a time. I got what I thought was a Cubano this last visit. It wasn't toasted so was kind of a bit not fun to eat. I think the always good is the ahi sandwich, but I always have found it rather sinewy. We've been lucky of all times we've been there to be right on the outside of the lanai by the marina which makes it better. Service staff were fine. I can't only imagine if there is no breeze, the tables not by the lanai marina side, it would be pretty hot, but that's speculation read more

Came here after running a half marathon so I'm not sure if my review is skewered by how hungry and hot I was. But the Bloody Mary that everyone else reviews is spot on. Such a nice cool drink thats deserved whenever you need it. The garnishes are plentiful, so you know they don't skim on anything. I got the burger to carb load. And it was nice and juicy. A decent size that I even had leftovers. The garlic Parmesan fries was also a nice upgrade. The ambient was nice. Very social place where you don't have to worry about being loud. It's nice to sit and eat and look out at the boat and harbor. Their bar selection and area is nice too. From the outside, i did not expect such a pretty restaurant! Service here is amazing, fast and personable. Drinks came quick, with an amazing list of beer and liquor to fit all tastes. Started it off with some pupu's, buffalo wings which were fried well, tangy buffalo sauce and the sesame poke nachos, which came with the best tasting freshly fried wonton, tons of jalapeños and avocado added on, unfortunately though the fish was not fresh and smelled bad. Two keiki meals, which were free on Sundays! A loco moco which hit the spot, a meat lovers omelette which was nicely done, a monte christo sandwich that was devoured from a friend, and a vanilla crème pancake, which needed more sauce on top, but was told that it was tasty. Demographic here is mostly tourist, and military due to the location, but welcoming to locals and travelers alike. We were seated at a table with a beautiful view of the harbor, they had great drink specials, and our server Kyle was the best!!! I had the Herb & Curried Chicken and it was excellent. We wanted to try this spot for a while. We enjoy the 604 out in Waianae and the thought of one closer in town overlooking Pearl Harbor was tempting. The view and location is 5star the menu pretty good too. Staff are friendly. They have live music too. The reason I don't give it a 5 star or recommend is I'm honestly not sure if it is a mistake or or purpose. So if it happens again, we will go back to see, and I will update my review but it seems to happen all too often at restaurants here in Honolulu. If anyone can comment or explain that would be helpful to us and others in the future. We came during happy hour. We ordered a pitcher for $18 and a glass of white wine at $7 regularly $11. We also ordered more items after our initial drinks and food. When the bill came, the drinks were not happy hour prices. My husband pointed out the beer price was incorrect but he didn't look and didn't mention my wine was overcharged as well. The bill came back with lower price for beer but then we noticed the wine was not right. I didn't want to ask again and wait some more for $4 so I told my husband to deduct it from the tip. We went home a little deflated over the experience but still thinking it was overall a good experience. Several days later my husband checks his credit card charges it showed the amount was different, more than he had signed for. It is less than $5 in a bill over $120 so we now wonder if the first "mistakes" were deliberate. Alot of tourists and military seem to go here. When we go back, if something happens again with our bill I will update this review with a 1 star. I don't understand how we could get charged wrong in the first place and then again after we've already left. read more

I went here for lunch one day and then went for dinner the next. Service was very good both days. Ambiance is nice since it's by the water. The Mac and cheese was cold and so was the fries. Apparently they make a lot ahead of time when there is an event and Kapema was playing when we went for dinner. I orders fish and chips for lunch. The fish was really greasy, more than what I'm used to when ordering fish and chips. I ordered the miso butterfish for dinner and it was excellent. I highly recommend it. After visiting Pearl Harbor, we were looking for a place to eat nearby. This restaurant has wonderful views, as shown in the pictures, and we were seated right by the water, which was a definite plus. However, the reason for my overall score is that the grilled chicken on our salads did not look very appetizing at all. We couldn't even eat it. While it seemed cooked through, it had artificial grill marks, making it seem like it had been frozen or something similar. It just wasn't good. The salmon was only okay, and my rice was really dry. On the bright side, the pork was actually quite tasty, and we all enjoyed that. Unfortunately, the hamburger was just plain and felt overpriced for the flavor. If you're looking for a place for a small snack and drinks while enjoying the view, this restaurant is a good option, but I'm not sure about their meals. read more
