I want to start by saying our waitress was very kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire experience. Unfortunately, the issue was with how management handled the situation. We waited over an hour for our food while tables around us that ordered later were served first. I had informed the staff beforehand that I have Celiac Disease and needed my meal prepared carefully to avoid cross-contamination. I ordered the kalua pork with rice and a green salad. When the food finally arrived, I used my Nima Gluten Sensor on a sample that included rice, kalua pork, and a small amount of the honey-ginger vinaigrette served with the meal. The sensor detected gluten/cross-contamination in the sample. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially with gluten-free orders. What was disappointing was the response from management. When I brought up the positive test result and my concerns about cross-contact, the manager simply responded, "It does not contain gluten," without any apology or acknowledgment of the medical concern. Even as we were leaving the restaurant, there was still no apology or attempt to address the situation further. Again, I appreciate our waitress for being kind and trying her best. I just wish management had handled the situation with more empathy and professionalism. read more

Had some good drinks and average food at this bar and grill close to Pearl Harbor. It sounds like a weird location to have fun, but it is. Restaurant 604 is known for having all day happy hours if they can call it that though. Anyway prices still aren't cheap. They're not like totally ripoff though so that's one good thing about it at least. Came in the afternoon because we were thirsty and hungry after walking around. It's just north of Pearl Harbor after walking past the one bridge. This is the closest place to eat so this is where we went. Beers and cocktails are the best things, while food seems to be an afterthought. It's $12 for the Liliko'i Bangah. This is a margarita made with agave, Dobel tequila, Li Hing Mui rum, lime sour, passion fruit puree, and triple sec. It's about $8 for appetizers. We got the Garlic Fries. Basic stuff that has a little garlic flavor but again pretty basic. The rest of the menu includes things like seafood. Great place to go after Pearl Harbor because it's the closest place to go. It's located past the Ford Island Bridge a quick walk from there. There's not a whole lot of stuff for vegetarians. read more

I'm such a huge fan of this amazing restaurant! Such a wonderful, prime location to eat in the area. You've got tons of delicious options on the menu. Many of them Hawaiian and Filipino. I loved the coconut shrimp and marinated beef the most. Your view is the Navy dock with dozens of boats anchored in. There's plenty of greenery and spacious areas to sit or take a walk near by. The staff is really nice and helpful here too. The downstairs bathrooms are incredibly old and almost scary to use but they work and that's a win. read more

This was our first stop getting off the plane, but it's also right next to Pearl Harbor so there's really no inconvenient time to stop in! Their fryer was down when we were there for lunch so the menu was a little limited, but still plenty of great options! So this was my last meal in HI and I picked a good one. I sat at the bar and grabbed a few drinks. The bartender Kesiah was amazing. While sitting there I met to great guys and we had some fun conversations and exchanged info. It was surreal that you can meet ppl at the bar and spark up a good conversation, which I thought died after Covid. Eventually I got an appetizer. The salmon bombs are amazing. I am going to have to find some way to recreate this dish at home. The salmon was delicious and the sauces made it pop even more. I wanted to get a second order, but did not want to over eat knowing I still had to grab dinner. For dinner I got the herb curried chicken. It was not what I was expecting, but the flavors were on point. The chicken was steamed and didn't really have a crust, but the seasoning and sauce definitely got in there. Very simple beach bar with amazing staff and great food. Caught the most stunning sunset here which made it even more magical. When you arrive, the parking is limited to military service members so we parked outside. This was probably the only negative experience given one of the homeowners asked us and not park in the public road because she thought it disturbed her and her dogs. However when you come in it seems like a simple restaurant bar, but you're greeted by friendly staff and that night we were served by Sandra who was not only our waitress but was also running the bar and she was on top of it despite having many roles. We started off with a spinach artichoke dip which was creamy yet light. For dinner I had the miso butter fish, which was the perfect portion size and packed with flavor. I enjoyed a stunning sunset with my endless summer cocktail and got lost in the ambience. This is a great spot to grab a drink and a bite if you're visiting Pearl Harbor. It's popular for a reason, so expect a little bit of a wait. While we were waiting, we checked out the menu online and decided what we wanted, but once we finally got seated and placed our orders, we were told the online menu was outdated. So, we pivoted and were still really pleased with what we got. Everything was fresh and delicious. It just took longer because we had to rethink all of our initial choices. It was so nice sitting down and looking at the water with our giant Bloody Marys!! They were delicious and the perfect appetizer. We got the poke nachos, which were delicious! We also got the kaula pork nachos and were equally delicious. Our waiter was amazing and cracked me up because he told the girls ok no refills on your drinks unless mom and dad say so and my husband and I both looked at each other and said "Yes!" That's our rule at home you have to eat your food before you get a drink refill because our kids are notorious for drinking their meals instead of actually eating their food! After today's experience and because this isn't the first time, I'm done giving this location another chance. Our party of six arrived between 10:30 and 10:42 a.m. We were all there by 10:42, but our order wasn't taken until around 11:15. Our server, Kyle, was friendly enough, but he seemed incredibly disorganized. He skipped one person while taking our order, and we had to call him back to the table to finish it. Throughout the meal he repeatedly forgot things, had to ask the same questions again, and just seemed very spacey. At the beginning, Kyle told us the only thing they were out of was the pupu ribeye. We ordered four chicken fried steaks, a loco moco, a 604 Breakfast, five Bloody Marys, four oyster shooters, a chocolate milk, and a Plantation iced tea. A food runner brought out only four Bloody Marys, and none of them had the shrimp that's listed in the menu description and pictured in the photos. We flagged Kyle down to ask about both the missing Bloody Mary and the missing shrimp. He apologized and said he'd check on it. The fifth Bloody Mary eventually arrived, but the shrimp never did. When we asked again, it was basically brushed off. About 20 minutes later, Kyle came back to tell us they were actually out of chicken fried steak. The restaurant had only been open about an hour and a half, which was surprising. Even more frustrating, this is the second time we've driven across the island specifically for the chicken fried steak only to be told they were out. It's one of the main reasons we come here. While reordering, we also reminded him about the Plantation iced tea, the oyster shooters, and the chocolate milk, none of which had arrived. I changed my order and specifically asked if they could substitute the sausage gravy from the chicken fried steak onto the loco moco. Kyle said yes. When it came out, it had the regular brown gravy instead. The two entrées that weren't affected by the chicken fried steak issue came out almost immediately after our replacement order was taken, making it seem like they had simply been sitting while the missing entrées went unaddressed. Kyle told us he'd send a manager over, but although we saw the manager at the front of the restaurant, he never once came to our table or acknowledged the situation. Near the end of the meal, Kyle finally asked if we had everything. We reminded him--for what felt like the third time--that we were still missing the oyster shooters and the chocolate milk. By then we'd already finished eating. Three of the four shooters eventually showed up, and the chocolate milk arrived another ten minutes later. When it was time to leave, we had to ask for our check three separate times, then waited another 20 minutes for it to arrive. We'd been there for about two and a half hours, far longer than our group has ever spent at brunch. The bill still included the oyster shooter that was never served, but at that point we just wanted to leave. Kyle did eventually bring out a bowl of sausage gravy and discount portions of our bill, but unfortunately it was too little, far too late. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years, from kitchen prep to management, so I know mistakes happen. Running out of an item isn't what bothered me. It was the lack of communication, the repeated forgotten items, the disorganization, the constant need to remind our server about things, and the complete lack of management involvement. After two experiences like this, I won't be returning to this location, and I can't recommend it to others. Just double checked the receipt. Our discount was $5, which is hilarious considering he mentioned twice that he was going to "discount the hell out of it." read more

Only had to wait a couple extra minutes. Very nice atmosphere with a few televisions featuring sports. The server was fast to take our drink and a few minutes later our order. I ordered chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the 604 burger. The food was prepared very quickly and that has been our experience so far visiting the islands. On 5/17, we planned our day on Oahu, and made reservations at this place. On 19 May, three hours before our reservation time after a long day, I received a text saying our reservation was canceled. No explanation. No nothing. I called. No answer. I called again. No answer. I checked online. Nothing. Pretty irritating. We decided to drive over anyway. After forty-some-odd minutes driving through gridlock afternoon traffic, we pulled into the lot and parked. We got out and started walking toward what we thought was the entrance, when a woman rolled up in a car and told us they were closed. Renovations or something she was told after trying to go in. We drove over to some nearby picnic benches to relax a spell and saw three or four more cars drive up and leave. Another was pulling up as we left. There was no indication online that their restaurant was closed. Fumbling through their automated phone attendant system got us nowhere. She straight up forgot we ordered entrees and tried to give us our check after our appetizers. It took over 30 minutes just to get our drink orders. She never checked on us. My cup sat empty for well over 20 minutes and I never saw her to even ask to refill it. She didn't even tell us her name. From sit to leave the whole experience took two and a half hours! The food was hit or miss. Garlic parm fries? HIT! Curry chicken? HIT BUT the chicken was over done and it couldn't even be cut with the provided butter knife. I had to borrow a steak knife. Fish and chips? MISS. They were so dry and over done. I think they bake them? Not good. My friend took one bite and was completely turned off. She would have mentioned something, but again, we never saw the waitress. So it was mentioned when we got the checks, and she was nice enough to take them off the bill and box up something new. My brownie skillet was also burnt and dry. The peanut butter cake was delightful though! I'll be back to give it another chance, but the first impression for anything other than the ambiance was less than stellar. read more
