We have consistently stopped here for a picnic on our regular sojourns to the Mouse House in Orlando. Today we chose a table in a different spot since it was the first one we saw available. Adjacent to that table was a handicap ramp for you to reach the restroom area. Due to settling (I assume) there was a significant inference in height of the end of the ramp and the sidewalk it was connected to. Resulting in my Mother-in-law tripping on the unexpected lip of the sidewalk causing her to fall and nearly hit her head on the nearby concrete bench of the picnic table. While the ramp is much newer than the rest of the sidewalk and concrete picnic tables, it is old enough that there is no excuse that this DANGEROUS HAZARD is not marked to prevent similar and potentially more serious accidents! It was also disappointing that the vending machines were mostly empty of drinks other than sodas and water. On our next trip I might consider bypassing this location and stopping at the next one instead. read more

It's 12/4/22 and we're back for the ample parking and clean bathrooms. We didn't need to use anything else. There are vending machines and places to walk pets and eat at picnic tables. If you have a big rig, there's ample parking for you! But this was a plain and simple pit stop. I'm always amazed at the cleanliness of these rest stops - 95% of the time they are clean. They have toilet paper, soap, and paper towels and/or hot air hand dryers. I've rarely seen the attendants who maintain these areas, but I am grateful for them! read more

About 90 minutes here having a nap was nice - there was one spot all the way at the end where I had some shade on this hot summer day. The restrooms are clean, the vending machines were stocked and there was plenty of parking. [Review 18051 overall - 526 in Georgia - 1572 of 2022.] read more

I stopped here on the way to Savannah and immediate stepped in you know what when I got out of the car. Then looked around and saw it everywhere. This place needs a dog waste station. Would not recommend exploring this rest stop. If you can hold it, hold it until the next gas station or rest stop. read more

Nice clean rest stop to stretch your legs and use the restroom. When I pulled into the parking lot, there were lots of open parking spaces even though there were a lot of cars already parked. I didn't stay very long. There are two buildings, one on either side of the parking lot. Other than restrooms, I don't know what else is in the building on the left side. The building on the right side contains restrooms, with the men's restrooms being on the left side of the building. I say restrooms because there are actually two men's restrooms, probably so that the restrooms can be closed off one at a time whenever it's time for the janitors to clean them. read more

Fortunately I don't need to use the amenities here, I'm one hundred percent self contained in this RV, the rest areas are just downtime for me - rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time. Most stop in and are rushed to leave - I prefer to take it all in and slow the pace, I want to lay across one of these concrete tables and take a nap, paradise may have never been here; but it's certainly here now amid these shady trees. But take these interstate signs literally, it's a rest area so what's your hurry - always respect the "pet relief area signage", the sign maker is without exaggeration or inaccuracy: there's dog crap in the grasses... read more

If you travel a lot- you know how important a rest stop is. I felt very safe as a person who was traveling alone, they had a ton of different snack and drink machines (they have energy drinks and iced coffee too if you need some caffeine), and the best part was how clean the bathrooms were!! I appreciated that there was 2 separate buildings to use the restroom and not only that- it smelled great (shocking!!!). They definitely regularly clean the bathrooms and stock them so there's always soap and toilet paper available. Great rest stop to get out and walk around after a long drive. read more

This rest stop does what it needs. I think the sign which directs cars to go one way and trucks to go the other way should be bigger though. There's a dog walk for those that need to walk their dog. Restrooms are adequate and seem to be lit pretty bright. A bit smelly and not as clean for a morning but hey at least the rest stop is there. read more

Was happy to see a tourist info at this rest stop but extremely disappointed that it was closed. The bathrooms were dirty with debris on the floor and toilet paper running low. All in all, was still able to accomplish my business so as far as rest stops go, I would recommend "going" here. read more

This is by far the best rest stop I've seen in awhile. Smells good on the women's bathroom and clean and whomever takes care of this is doing a great job! Kudos to the person that takes the time to keep it clean and today and the hand soap smells amazing. read more

Absolute dump. One side completely closed. Of two remaining ladies restrooms on the other side one was closed for cleaning leaving 3 (!!!!) stalls because the rest had either red traffic cones in them or a hand-written sign that they are out of order. The men's room was absolutely filthy. Avoid if possible. Any gas station bathroom is a better choice than this rest area. read more

Area is pretty clean and safe. There are two sides with restrooms on both sides. There's even a dog walking area for you to walk your dogs. I don't ask much for rest area as long as it's clean and safe! read more
