I will have to say this is hands down the grossest gas station I have been to. When we first pulled up to BP, there were only 1/2 of the gas pumps even working. There are no other gas station off of this exit, and there is an abandoned one across the street. I went inside to get something to drink, and it was very dirty. The restroom is really unsanitary, and needs a deep clean. I wouldn't recommend coming here at night. read more

Thought I'd grab a quick lunch while driving from Atlanta to Macon. BIG MISTAKE. The girl said "everything's good". Uhm , WRONG. I decided on the $2.89 nachos and $2.89 burrito. She took a cold tortilla and added beef, cheese and liquid beans (I kid you not - liquid, not mashed, not re-fried, liquid). Next, she microwaved it before adding the cheese, tomatoes and sour cream. Sounds decent. Again, wrong! The flour tortilla was microwaved too long and it was hard on the outside and soggy on the inside from the liquid beans. Do NOT ever get a burrito. Oh, forgot to mention she microwaved it on a styrofoam plate. It was all twisted up afterwards. Should be called toxins r us burrito... Next, the nachos. A few chips and a small package of cheese squirted in the package. Really bad. Per the guy at check-out, I could have had some beans added. ROFL. I was not about to let her drip those liquid beans on it. Not worth 50 cents. We live, we learn. Never again. Needless to say, other than a taste of both, neither was eaten. Really bad. read more

Driving down I-75 today on the way home and needed to gas up. There was a BP sign on the Rumble Road/Smarr exit so away we went. Who knew this was one of the non-standard BP stores? It's been my experience that BP stations were rather consistently decent stores. This is not decent. This is one of those small, disgusting stores where you'd almost rather pee in the bushes outside. Gross, nasty, appalling women's restroom. The store itself is your typical over-priced, dust on the shelves kind of place that fits right in the with nasty bathrooms and parking lot so full of holes your car bottoms out. Don't use the squeegee at the gas pumps to clean your windshield, it is full of dirt and just makes the situation worse. I'm only giving them 2 stars because they actually had gas for the car. read more

What this family store did for a girl they never met might restore your faith. Not much hope was left at this point. It had been 4 months since a cat named Pablo escaped his crate while at the rest stop on I-75 South just past the Rumble Rd exit where nothing existed but the lone BP Gas Station. A girl was moving across country with her 10 yr old cat when the unthinkable happened. He broke free from the car in a noisy truck stop. Hours went by and she was unable to find him. She finally had to leave the rest stop and her best friend behind. What a hallow empty crushing emotion I can only imagine. For no particular reason I was reading the Macon lost and found section of craiglist when I saw her post. I pondered how helpless she must have felt. I came to learn she had no children herself and Pablo was her "everything." I began putting up flyers and combing the rest stop for 3 straight nights. Another citizen was a step ahead of me with posters already up in many locations. One of my early stops was the BP gas station on Rumble Rd. Perhaps, Pablo would smell some biscuits or southern boiled peanuts and mozzie on over. The distance from the rest stop to the BP was really just a few miles if one is traveling through the woods. The rest stop offered no access roads beside the interstate itself. Nothing but danger and woods for 1-2 miles in either direction. 4 months went by without a single sighting. Then the 'deli girl" at the BP saw an unfamiliar cat and wondered if it could possibly be Pablo from the picture on the store window? She fed Pablo a few days until she was able to get close to enough to hold him. She and the crew checked his name tag and confirmed his identity. Then the call went out! (Pause) Soak that moment in for just a sec. The inward gasp of breath by Pablo's owner when she heard his name over the telephone. From despair to elation in an instant. Pablo's owner drove up right away and by the early morning hours Pablo was home and reports are, very happy to be reunited. Thanks BP! read more

(Should be a NO STAR but im forced to pick) Most disgusting bathrooms ever! Only 2 worked and one had sh*+ (literally) on the toilet and walls. Not to mention the toilet paper all over the floors. Then when I went to wash my hands (sink closest to the door) - the walls are disgusting. They look like they haven't been washed down in months. As I was drying my hands I could see what looked like mold growth on the walls and streaks of dirt. Husband said the men's was just as bad. Come on folks. Not only do i expect more from BP, but also from a Stuckeys store. It only takes 15 mins to pick them up a few times a day and 1 hr every couple weeks to sanitize the entire bathroom. read more

Convenient to I-75 exit 181, but the selection of drinks was relatively small. (No Snapple? Feh!) Still, I was able to get some Diet Rockstar for $2.19, which doesn't suck too badly. read more

Gas station attendant went into bathroom, emptied the female waste cans by placing them on the sink tops and then emptying with her bare hands.... gross!!!! Then placed them back, LEFT THE BATHROOM WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS... and returned to work the register. Health department please close me said the food area inside the store. Needless to say didn't buy anything other than gas. read more

If I could no stars I would. Pulled up with RV and white pickup was parked at gas pump. Waited 15 mins to see if someone would come out. Eventually went in to look for person, turns out it was the owner. Cashier didn't want to ask him to move. Someone finally did and he asked if we could wait because he was in the phone with tech support...what??? I told him that was fine we would go somewhere else. Some woman told me we could get to another pump. I told them never mind. He came following me out saying " I am on with tech support". As if that mattered... "Then he had the nerve to say, I'm coming to move it". I got in our truck and left. Just wow! BTW...bathrooms smelled like urine and were gross! read more
