My husband and I stopped at Buc-ee's while traveling home from Tennessee. I had my service dog with me, and the night manager, Krysta, repeatedly called out to my husband and then approached me regarding my service animal. While I understand businesses may ask questions about service animals, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. Krysta loudly questioned me in front of other customers and began reading questions from a paper about what tasks my dog performs. When I tried to explain that I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), she was dismissive and laughed, which was humiliating and embarrassing. Not all disabilities are visible. I felt singled out, judged, and treated with a lack of respect simply because I do not "look disabled." My dog was clearly identified as a service animal, and I even offered proof when questioned. What upset me most was not being asked a question, but the rude and public manner in which I was treated. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed because of a disability. I stand by my previous observation on the gas lines, however this time we were starving so we braved the lines for food. Honestly, the line wasn't that long. It's always an adventure coming in here just trying to get through the crowds. Everything's gigantic size a ton of coffee, a ton of soda, a ton of beef jerky pickled items, clothing, barbecue tools and they say their bathrooms are awesome but it's just the bathroom super sized. Why only four stars you say well because there's so many damn people there it's ridiculous. It's like Walmart on Christmas Eve every day. It seems like it's a gathering spot for all the locals and the gas is cheap and that's what I came for and a break from the road. I'm on a road trip to Atlanta so this was a good stopping point for getting gas along the way and people watching you ever in the vicinity of Buc-ee's. If you know you know, on the way home From a week long cruise from Tampa and I had already made the decision that we were going to make a pit stop at my favorite Buc-ee's to use the restroom cause they are known for their clean restrooms or so I thought. On 9/20 @ 3:09pm. I noticed when I walked in that their was about 4 open stalls with ready on them and the attendant was on his telephone just a texting or playing a game but wasn't paying any attention to the cleaning of the restroom. I went into a ready stall to only see that it wasn't clean, I backed up And went to another stall and again toilet tissue on the floor and clearly wasn't clean so I took matters into my own hand cause obviously the attendant wasn't making a move. This was my second stop on my annual spring trek north. This place has about the cheapest fuel one can find along I-75. There are a gazillion pumps and there's a fuel type for every need including (and current prices as of 04.08.2026). Diesel $5.19 Ethanol Free 93 Octane $4.59 Regular 87 Octane $3.59 Plus 89 Octane $3.89 Super 93 Octane $4.19 The biggest gripe I have with this place is that there's no provision to clean your windshield while fueling up. This and the fact that there's always a ton of people inside (like everyone just left the Magic Kingdom and has come here before going home. ‍ ), is why I rarely stop here. Buc-ee's is simultaneously a delight to visit, and a pain in the butt to visit. Getting in and out of that place is quite the chore, but when you weather the storm and get inside, the reward is well worth the risk. There is so much stuff to look at, and the merch changes store to store, season to season. This time I found a nice Ford Bronco ballcap that I now keep inside Rex. There are also more overwhelming things to look at, like the rows and rows of identical looking containers holding various flavors of jerky, beaver nuggets, jellies, etc. If you're in the market for anything like that, shop away, but if you're anywhere near in a hurry to get back on the road, avoid this section. The area I concentrated in this time was the food. We actually stopped here on the way out to Missouri, and on our way back home. Both times, I got the beaver chips, which were extra thin and crispy and foldy little kettle chips. Very delicious, added a lot of texture to the meal. On the way up there, I got the classic brisket sandwich. Very beefy, packed full of meat, and a nice bun. On the way back down, it was breakfast time, so I got a triple meat burrito I think. A nice, thick, warm tortilla, and plenty of filling within. Both meals were very enjoyable for a gas station. Overall, Buc-ee's is always a winner. If you come within 15 miles of one, you gotta come and browse and eat and get lost in time. read more

I was shocked to see the women's room line out into the middle of the store. This was even with an attendant inside barking commands, not a job I'd want! I recently visited the Buc-ee's in Adairsville, Georgia, and I have to give a massive shoutout to Clint in the beef jerky department! He provided some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. Clint offered me samples of the different jerky types and was incredibly patient, guiding me until I found my absolute favorite. Thanks to him, I discovered the Honey and Jalapeño flavor, which is hands down the best jerky I've ever had! What really stood out was Clint's genuine passion for his job. This was the third time I have been to this Buc-ee's. Like always, it's ALWAYS super packed!! We came because a friend was with us, that hasn't been to a Buc-ee's before, so this was her first time. This place is truly MASSIVE. There are about 50+ gas pumps. When you go inside, it's like a Walmart meets Quiktrip meets Cracker Barrel. They have so many different items and so many different Buc-ee's branded items. I got some food, which is honestly quite good. I got the burrito, chicken sandwich, and some glazed pecans...so good. They have a bunch of beef jerky options and brisket as well, as this is what they are famous for. The restrooms are also very clean too. I even got a picture with the Buc-ee's beaver too!
