There are 2 Publix closer to my house, but I travel an extra 5 miles to come to this one. This location has a well-lit parking lot and several designated places to return your cart. Amongst the other Publix in the area this one is the largest and most modern offering self-checkout unlike the others. The produce here is always fresher and they don't burn their Dutch apple pies. The store is always clean and organized and if you need help a friendly associate is always there to assist. Usually, I don't get to the supermarket until late after the seafood department is closed. Sometimes I can find snow crab legs steamed from earlier that day in the refrigerated seafood section. This supermarket chain has always advertised every fish in our fresh seafood case is never frozen. I have personally seen frozen fish in their seafood case and living in Georgia I hope they do freeze whatever they don't sell to keep it fresh. When I come to a Publix, I always take advantage of the Buy one get one free deals, this location is never out of anything. I have never purchased anything from the deli but every time I shop here that area is always busy. This is definitely the best grocery store in the Warner Robins area. I LOVE Publix but very strange I asked about Bogo table and emloyee up front desk seemed to not have any idea about my question?? simple right where did the Boggs go? we'll finally I found out that loc did away with the table and you now find them in the isles okay why change that was sorta an old fashion really exciting table to visit when walking in the store.My main reason for going to the store on (7-22-2025 Watson blvd) was to purchase a sub but no way did I want to wait only third in line but SLOW moving individual making subs I may have been standing there 45 min seriously!! Staying in the area overnight while traveling. Stopped for a sandwich vs. going out since we had our dog with us. Plaza is newer, store and parking lot was clean. Ample parking, safe area. No issues with customer service as previous posted stated. Reason for four stars, is we got a wrap vs. sub, and it truly wasn't very good at all. Don't know if it was fresh, or just a bad choice of ingredients. Too much tortilla in relation to the meat/condiments. Otherwise, everything was ok. Easy road access in/out of plaza. Lastly, having Publix in FL where we live, totally agree they are expensive, and we do not shop there regularly. Makes me wonder how they continue to expand and stay in business. read more

Went into this publix for a quick publix sub and ended up waiting for about 25 minutes. There was one guest in front of me & two employees. They were "arguing" back & forth which caused them to perform extremely slow. When we got on my sub OMG the associate was super sloppy, didn't change his gloves, didn't use a cutting glove etc. I mentioned how hard the bread was he replied "I mean it's publix".. On the day before Thanksgiving this Publix had one employee making sandwiches. this would have been fine, but he moved at a snails pace taking 10 minutes or more on one customer. This customer btw was wanting a hot chicken, then cut in front of me to get a sandwich. The employee should have never allowed that. this store needs to staff better and be prepared. the supervisor at the deli area was doing the best she could working all three stations. Two days in a row I waited over 20 mins for a sub. There weren't a lot of people in front of me either. Only one associate making subs at a gingerly pace as people stacked up down the isle. Publix is expensive but I like their fresh meat. However they have racist people working there. yesterday I dropped me son off daycare, I went to Publix around 8:40am. I went to the baby section reading the labels. so I guess I was in that section too long because they sent a young girl to watch me for 15 minutes.. I continued to read the labels because my son have a lot of allergies.. Then they sent another lady to watch me..I said two people can play this game I read almost every label in the baby section to make her watch me..I stayed in the section another 30 minutes just to make her keep watching me.. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT ON POINT. I came to this location to pick up a cake for a relative. I gave the associate the correct name on the order. She looked 1 time for about 15 seconds and came back and said she couldn't find it. She asked what time it was supposed to be ready, and I told her the time. I made a call to make sure I had all the correct info about the order. During this time, she walked away to help another associate, and when she came back, I told her the name on the order as I had done before. She still insisted that the order was not there. I confirmed that the order was made with this location. She still insisted that it was not there. During this time, another associate had located the cake in the same area within 5 seconds. I looked at the name on the order it it was the exact name that I had told her. She took off the order slip like I didn't see the name, but I saw it. DELI FOOD WAS NOT FRESH Also, while at this location, I did pick up some food from the deli. The sides were not fresh, and there were still some feathers on the chicken. read more

This store is a nice place to shop, they are usually well stocked, very clean, and have great meat and produce departments. My complaint however is with their delivery service, as the covid 19 pandemic has places locked down, I used their service today. They use InstaCart, a sub ofUber Eats. The delivery person delivered my stuff to a different address than mine, and Publix won't make the bill good. 10 years of shopping and today they lost a steady customer, by not caring. read more

I ordered a Instacart pickup for noon -1. I arrived at 12:30 after receiving the order is ready notification. It was 1:30 when I received my order 3 bags. I was told the reasons for the delay was an Instacart code was needed. I finally get home ( a 30 min ride both ways) My sub has turkey all over it. Even though the package stated it was a veggie sub. I was in getting my medication on 4/17/2023 around 6:22pm. I approached the counter and the cashier with a name tag (Erikka) assisted me. She asked my name and birthdate. She gave me my total and I told her I had a good RX coupon. That triggered her for some reason. She stomped off and came back with a serious attitude. She told me to sign the box because she now had to re-ring my meds. I picked up my phone to pull up my coupon and she became angry and blurted out at me "Don't take my picture" I immediately turned my phone to show I had my coupon pulled up. She said Well the way you are holding your phone, it looked like you were taking a picture of me. First, why would I want to take her picture. This is so ridiculous to be treated this way. I get home and tell my son about the incident, and he asked what she looked like because he was in earlier getting his meds first and she gave him an attitude and run around when he said he was using good RX. I'm not sure why she was in a bad mood, I've been using Publix's pharmacy for a long time. But I will refuse to have her help me IF I choose to continue using Publix. Very clean and spacious Publix location. Wide aisles and amazing selection (for example, their yogurt section was huge!). They also have a great selection of daily-made deli items (fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits, sandwiches, etc). Prices are reasonable and the parking lot is gigantic. Cupcakes were not even started on and I was there to pick up 1 1/2 hours after I told them to set the pick up time. The manager rolled her eyes at me when I told her I was going to want a discount after almost 20 minutes of waiting for them to find cupcakes that weren't even made. Manager told me to show her the number in my phone to make sure I was at the right publix even though the lady behind her was saying "I remember taking her order". They did make the cupcakes after they realized no one did the order but the icing wasn't even mixed good so the orange cupcakes where basically white. Going south on highway 41, this shopping center sits atop a hill commanding attention. Publix has a reputation of building great stores and this is no exception. Easy to get in and out as one entrance is not on the main highway. People wanting to turn left don't hold up the main traffic. People wanting to get onto the main road don't wait forever for a chance. Just visited this store for the first time last week. Smaller sized shopping center, some of the stores are still vacant but other smaller stores are filled and I saw one store in the process of moving in. This is in contrast to two shopping centers up the road that are either totally or mainly empty. The problem with many stores is either it's not bright enough and you have to literally bring your own flashlight if you visit in the middle of the day or afternoon, especially during the week, or it's very bright with glaring lights. I am happy to say that this store is very bright, I don't need a flashlight but the light is not a bit harsh. And, guess what, the universal law that people meet coming in and going out, blocking the door must not apply here. There were three people standing and visiting when I went in and were still at it when I left. But, they were in a front area of the store and in no one's way. As with most Publix (is the plural Publix, Publixi or Publixus?), if you're looking for a particular item, they likely have it. However, in my case, they didn't have what I was looking for and specifically came into the store for. I was looking for Kretschmer wheat germ honey crunch style wheat germ. They had the original style but not this other which is a little more nutty in flavor. Great for breakfast as an added topping to oatmeal or cereal. Very healthy, too. As I don't often shop in Warner Robbins, I didn't ask if the store could stock it. I did look it up to find that the product is still produced by the company. I have no doubt that if I'd asked, they would have made every effort to stock for me. Produce is very fresh. Great selection of breads, seemed like a smaller display of seafood, though. Large store and Publix, it's been my experience, keeps their stores well stocked. All this does come at a price. Unfortunately, I've found Publix to be one of the pricier stores in the area. When store A carries the same brand produce for $2.13 for that week and Publix has it for $6.99, I can't justify doing a one-stop, one-shop when I know other items are going to generally be markedly higher, too. That wheat germ is maybe two bucks more than at another store. Couple that with the rest of the shopping and it all adds up very quickly. But, you do get what you pay for. The staff is very friendly, will often greet you if you're walking down the aisle and you don't wait all day in line to check out. While the center is very nice and fairly new, I do see signs of deterioration that in a year or two will need to be addressed. They've used wooden porch type posts that have been made. Nothing wrong with that but they are so poorly put together that the paint couldn't seal the cracks where the different pieces of wood meet. And, it looked like the drain pipes when through these posts. All this can make for rotten wood and deterioration in the overall appearance of the exterior. While I don't always shop Publix, I have to hand it to them for their excellent service, great selection and keeping the lights on during the day, unlike some of their competitors. read more

The Ladies that work in the pharmacy are amazing. You can not find people nicer are more helpful. They have always done an excellent job in helping me with any problem I may have. The bakery makes the best sour dough bread. The store is always nice, clean, well stocked and brightly lit . None of the dark dingy look that is in some stores. The people are always cheerful and ready to help. There is very little waiting to checkout. The shopping carts are well maintained. There are no thumping wheels. I only wish they would get the small carts like Kroger has. read more

The worst Publix customer service experience. After traveling from Tampa, Fl to Knoxville, TN on Thanksgiving weekend, we decided to stop at a Publix on our way home for a Publix sub to have for lunch. Thinking it would be better than fast food. I was wrong! We stopped at store 1291 and I made my way to the deli. I waited patiently for the lady making the sub to clean her station and put some cheese away. When she said next, I asked for a Cuban sandwich with salami, Mayo, mustard, lettuce and pressed. She looked unhappy and annoyed and pointed at the pre-made sub. I told her that I wanted a fresh one and repeated to her with salami, mayo, mustard lettuce and pressed which is not done that way when they are pre made. Normally I would be greeted with a smile and I wouldn't had any problems getting my sandwich done the way I wanted... since I am a paying customer. Instead of her making my sandwich she walked away to call the deli manager. The deli manager gave me trouble as well. She just kept repeating the pre made sandwich were freshly made in the morning. I told her that would be fine but I wanted my sub different and I went over and grabbed a pre made sandwich to give them to modify the sandwich since it seem to be BIG TROUBLE for them to make my sandwich the way I wanted. There wasn't even a line behind me! When I started to repeat what I wanted and I metioned the mayo and mustard she pointed behind me and said, "there are mayo and mustard packages behind you", I said that's fine but I want salami lettuce and pressed. I repeated these so many times!! She then says "we'll it will be an extra $1 for salami". I was dumbfounded! Who cares if is $1 more! Who cares!! I didn't look like I was hurting for a dollar! Common!! Just make the sandwich! Afterwards I got tired and frustrated and told them to forget about it since it was a big deal to them. Of course as I start walking away is when the manager offered to make the sub herself. I was done by then! So disappointed in Publix and frustrated! read more
