I've been wanting to try Georgia Potato Factory for a while because I LOVE baked potatoes, and…read moretheir menu and pictures look so appetizing. I finally got a chance to stop by and order 2 potatoes to go one night, and sadly, I was actually pretty disappointed by it. It seems everything is premade and once you order, they just scoop it onto your potato then warm it up before handing it to you. No big deal as I imagine it would be a long wait time if they made some of the ingredients fresh, however, I found both potatoes to be quite dry. We had to use all the sour cream they gave us to help with the dryness and flavor, and I realized once I got home that no butter was included either. Despite the dryness, it was helped by the sour cream and the toppings were plentiful, BUT I found the cheese to be quite lacking. It may be because I'm a huge fan of cheese and I feel a proper potato needs to be covered in cheese, but once you start eating or even mixing the ingredients in, you'll find that there is definitely not enough cheese for the entire potato. I had to add more cheese to my potato once I got home. The pictures make the potatoes look very cheesy so I was disappointed when I saw my potatoes. I wish I would've opened my boxes while I was still there because I likely would've just requested more cheese even for an extra cost. Anyways, despite those flaws, I still did enjoy my potatoes. I've had better though. But the size here is probably the best I can find in Georgia and the toppings are generous. The price is VERY fair for the size. I'm actually shocked it's not more. That being said, I'd likely give it another shot if I'm in the area, but I'd just know to request some extra cheese or sour cream/butter next time.

Truly disappointed with this restaurant. At this point what are they doing instead of actually cook this food. Oh yeah the cake was horrible! I think it was old the color was off for a 7 up cake!

So I took the trip out here with my son & husband... arrived at 11.04pm, walked in and the lady behind the counter said "we're closed even though our Google listing g says 12". I said "dang we drive all the way from Gwinnett for this and she said "did you really- oh man"! Now if the listing is wrong that's one thing but if you know it's wrong and you do nothing about it- that's just wrong. Plus the attitude behind her response I could have done without.

During that time, I watched two customers walk in after me, place their orders, and walk out before me. When I asked what was going on, the cashier blamed it on "a lot of DoorDash orders," but couldn't explain why people standing right in front of her who ordered after me somehow got priority. The excuse made no sense. I spent almost $40, and the service made it feel like my time wasn't valued at all. The staff moved with no urgency, and having one cashier and one cook on a Friday night is just poor planning. After all that waiting, the only thing she offered me was a drink -- which did nothing to make up for the ridiculous delay. This was an awful experience from start to finish. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

They share the space with another business as well. The drink was good but the mango wasn't ripe so it wasn't as good as it could have been. Mango is out of season so I get it. The elote could have been bomb if they wouldnt have used canned corn. Even frozen corn would've been a better option. The flavors were there it just let you wanting more because the corn was too soft. I will go back again if I want a quick snack to take with me. I'm interested in trying more things on the menu.

They offer many sweet treats like milkshakes, chocolate covered bananas, icecream, paletas, and many other items. I tried the mangonada which was very good except they had them sitting in the freezer instead of making them fresh which made it hard to drink because the drink was initially pretty frozen. Other than that I was good. I also had the elote which had a really nice balanced flavor, but they used canned corn instead of fresh which definitely drew away from the flavor experience. Overall everything tasted good. I will definitely bring my kids back for some ice cream and shakes. I want to try some Paletas next!
