Had the adobo pork belly lunch special for $7.50. It was awesome. Belly was tender and flavorful. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the lumpia were awesome. The lumpia was fresh fried and so hot! Also got a beef empanada which reminded me of a fried Argentinian Empanada, flavorful beef picadillo inside with little or no filler. Took about ten minutes to prepare. I drove 40 min to find this place I was desperate for Filipino food. It was darn out there so weird it's in this little town. The place was easy to find it was in the business area. It's clean it has a small grocery section, can food, dry food and frozen food. Not a lot but you can get your basic Filipino need. I was disappointed it wasn't turo turo food. I wanted to see selection of food made already. You have to go to counter and order what you want and wait for it. I order sinigang, pansit, lumpia, pork kawali. I sat and eat some of each befor I go. It was really good. I bought frozen tocino, biscuit, siopao 4 pc $2.00 each. I bought it for my husband and loved it. I'm glad I got to eat Filipino food but this is a long way so I'm not going to able to come back. read more

I was so disappointed with the food I received this afternoon. It was nothing like my first experience. My chicken adobo was put inside the plate next to the rice instead of in a bowl like the first time shown on the picture below, and it got all over my lumpias, making them soggy and inedible. Then, there was no juice to go over the rice (lumpias absorbed it all). The rice was an overwhelming amount to the portion size of the meat. I scooped some of the rice off to eat with the meat and some of my noodles and trashed the rest with the soggy lumpias. I ordered a side order of lumpias as well, which were good...perfect. I do not know why she just didn't put the lumpias that came with the meal in the same container as the others so they would not get wet. The food was not as good as the last time-no comparison. I've had enough for a while. I won't be returning no time soon. Sorry I did not take pics, but I was so disappointed I went ahead and threw it out. Simply delicious! We discovered this little restaurant/market while searching for something else. Well, thank God for serendipity because we are officially hooked. While the market itself is tiny and the décor trends more toward the utilitarian, the food is amazing. I personally cannot get enough of the garlic rice and pork belly, but as we work our way through the menu, we have yet to hit something that is not extra yummy. Rounding out the experience, the family that operates the market and restaurant are very friendly and happy to answer questions about the products and dishes they offer. My only issue is that this place is so far from where I live! There's not much around middle GA when it comes to Filipino food... as a matter of fact, I think this is one of the only two places in this area. If you've never Filipino food before, this will be the place to go to for your first time. Why? Because Marivic is a great cook! A little bit of everything traditional to the Filipino culture here. There's also some deserts that I would suggest trying! From what I'm aware of, they do an all-you-can-eat during lunch time on the weekends. There's also a little area for asian grocery. Prices are decent. Again, theres not much in the area, but this place is pretty darn good for asian grocery stores. I will continue to come here as long as the food stays delicious and hot! read more

Whenever I don't feel like cooking Filipino food, I always come here. My mom is Filipino, so I do miss her cooking at time and eating food from here reminds me of her cooking. You can never go wrong with the classics: chicken adobo, lumpia and pancit. If you want to try something else, I suggest eating sinigang (sour soup), beef caldereta, and bistek. Of course eat it with rice because everything tastes better with rice!! And if you want something fried, I tend to crave lechon kawali. read more

We just tried this little store and was not disappointed! The owner, Marivic, was very nice. The food is what you would expect of a home cooked meal. The sinigang is my favorite Filipino food and this place reminded me of how it made at home. My boyfriend enjoyed the chicken curry. For a buffet charging $10/ person, you would get your money's worth. They had a lot of options like kare kare, sinigang na baboy, lumpia, longganisa, chicken curry, bistek, pinakbet, adobo, pancit, Leche flan and kutchinta. Went for lunch with a coworker and had the pancit bihon lunch special that comes with lumpia. So good! Great portions for a great price and fast and friendly service. I even ordered some lumpia to go to eat later for dinner. Basically, love their food, especially the lumpia! read more

I dont know how this place has 5 stars. My husband and I went to eat some Filipino food--gross gross gross. I've had this type of food in the past when I lived in CA. This is disgusting!
