Sesame chicken and curry chicken

This place is amazing!!! Simple menu, affordable, and awesome flavors! Coming back for sure!!! - update: came back the very next day - just as amazing! Favorite spot in Macon. Host/owner are extremely friendly too!

Shrimp pad thai

Finally got to come back after years. I would recommend placing a reservation, which was easy enough to do via call, since the restaurant is small and popular. I tried the sweet and hot chicken and loved it! Though my BIL got the Bangkok chicken which was also amazing. My mom got the lemon chicken, sister the red curry chicken, and father the shrimp pad thai. The pad Thai is not listed on their menu at the restaurant so you do have to ask for it. We all enjoyed our meals as well as trying each others. For appetizers egg drop soup was provided first. We ordered a serving of gyoza as well as a cheese roll for each of us. Highly recommend the cheese roll. It's delicious! Service was quick and attentive. Seating was also quick since we had placed our reservation. While the restaurant is small it doesn't feel crowded. Can't wait to come back again! Hopefully sooner than last time!

Small menu with delicious options to choose from. Intimate dining space well decorated and well maintained. It was evident how fresh the veggie spring roll was tasting the flavors and texture, yum!! The shrimp rolls were perfectly fried with the most amazing dips included. The orange chicken looked like upscale chicken tenders and VERY good. The orange sauce was on the side. We loved the shrimp roll dip so much we used that instead. Wine (moscato) pour was generous and tasty. The staff was kind, professional, and worked like an amazing team. Look forward to another visit to try the curry.

The food is so good we drove three hours (and escaped a natural disaster) just to eat here! I haven't been back in Macon at a time when they were open for the past two years, so it was a real treat to have their lemon chicken with chilled noodles. Absolutely delicious! My wife really enjoyed the orange chicken. The kitchen was quick and our waitress kept our drinks full. Because we arrived at opening, everything was empty, but a half hour later, as we were finishing up, most of the tables were filled. This looks like it is still quite popular.

Red curry with vegetables

Small difficult to find restaurant with limited hours. We made a reservation and arrived around 5:06 after a local finally helped us locate the place. Then we stood waiting to be greeted and/or seated for another 8 minutes as several workers walked around the back and walked to the two tables that already had patrons. As I was getting ready to leave someone finally decided to greet and seat us. The menu is very limited with very few options. And it's missing many key Thai items. I decided upon the red curry with vegetables, it came with rice and cold noodles. The cold noodles were weird. They were cold spaghetti noodles with a white creamy slightly sweet sauce, they did not compliment the curry at all. The red curry itself was fine. I also ordered a spring roll as an appetizer. I received one under-seasoned roll with hard uncooked rice noodles inside it. Due to the limited options on the menu, the food quality and the service I would not return.

Small local place right next to our hotel. We had quite the wait but it wasn't too bad. The food was good but for the price and the wait.. not sure I'd return.

Pad Thai (chicken), chicken with noodle salad

We stopped by for lunch today as we were in the downtown area of Macon. It's a small restaurant open for lunch Mon-Fri and dinner Fri-Sat. The restaurant looks very nice inside and staff were extremely friendly and helpful! We ordered the pad Thai (chicken), chicken with noodle salad, shiu mai, and crispy shrimp rolls. Everything was very good! The pad Thai was made just the way I like it and my gf especially liked the noodle salad which was light, creamy, and perfect for a hot day. One of the employees (I think the owner) saw that the shiu mai was a little over cooked so she offered to not charge us for that. I would definitely come back, highly recommend!

Came here for Valentine's day with my boyfriend and this place seriously exceeded my expectations. Absolutely incredible food, great pricing and such a cozy and intimate spot!! The owners seem to know everyone and were so friendly. I will absolutely be back here and highly recommend this place if you're ever in the Macon area. **Please note the hours as they arent open too long each day, but you should absolutely make the time to come here! Mon. - Thurs. 11am - 3pm Fri. - Sat. 5pm - 9pm

Sounds like Japanese restaurant but more of teriyaki and Thai. It was good enough but I don't need to go back.

Very subpar hibachi restaurant. The place looks clean but also very outdated and not very elegant…read more Everything looks about 30 years old. Waited about 15 mins to be seated and it seemed there was 2 servers and 1 chef. The menu they give you is outdated and doesn't reflect their website menu, they do have everything on their website but weird they don't show it. Server was all over and not super attentive but got the job done enough. Chef was friendly. The food was average the salad didn't have the classic ginger dressing which was weird and for the classic fried rice everything was uncharged. At the end we ended up having to grab our own boxes and had to ask 4 separate times for to go sauces.

It was one of the 3 days of graduation so it was an understandable wait. My party was of 3 so we did hibachi with 2 more parties and enjoyed it. Server was amazing and the chef was entertaining and I was so thankful he didn't do any tricks with the food. -Hibachi 10/10 everything was seasoned perfectly; the thin noodles were chef's kiss, just wish I got more. -Albany Special Roll 8/10 good just needed another sauce to me; wish the cream cheese was spread instead of one spot -Spider Roll 7/10 fresh & sauces were good - soup & salad 9/10 best soup i ever had Things to Know: -only open for dinner -gratuity included & depends on party number Will definitely return, but would pass on sushi

Churchill's on Cherry is the definition of an elevated experience, tucked away in downtown Macon…read more When we first walked in downstairs, I honestly questioned if we had the right place. It felt understated, almost too quiet. Then we spotted the staircase, and those steps just kept going. Once we reached the top, all doubt disappeared. What awaited us was an elegant, thoughtfully curated cigar lounge that immediately impressed. I don't smoke cigars and typically avoid smoking establishments altogether because the smell lingers in my hair and clothes. To my surprise, Churchill's is extremely well ventilated. When we left, I didn't smell like I'd been in a cigar lounge at all, a huge win in my book. My husband is a bourbon lover and has been searching for a spot worthy of inviting "the fellas" when they're in town. I won't say his friends are pretentious, but they are gentlemen, and this is absolutely a place for men with class and prestige. Churchill's boasts a vast selection of premium liquor, easily the largest and most impressive bourbon and whiskey collection I've personally seen. The photos online truly don't do this place justice. The ambiance has a moody, blues-club vibe, upscale, sexy, and refined. I almost forgot I was in Macon. Smooth jazz instrumentals played in the background, setting the tone perfectly. Every detail was intentional, even down to the restroom, which was immaculate and elegant. Customer service was stellar. Genesis, our bartender, was jovial, attentive, and incredibly skilled. Despite the bar being filled to capacity, she made every guest feel like they had her undivided attention. One of the owners also made a point to greet each guest personally, welcoming us with warmth and genuine hospitality, a touch that never goes unnoticed. Since we had just come from dinner, we stuck to drinks. I ordered my favorite cocktail, a strawberry lemon drop martini, and it was made perfectly. My husband enjoyed an Old Fashioned that was equally well executed. No matter how premium your liquor selection is, it means nothing without quality ingredients and knowledgeable bartenders -- Churchill's has both. I can't wait to return so we can try the food. A few things to note: there is a 20% gratuity automatically added to each bill, which was well deserved in our experience. They are card-only, no cash accepted. And lastly, make sure you're sober enough to make it back down those stairs when you leave. Churchill's on Cherry is a gem for Macon. Classy, refined, and done right. This is how it's supposed to be.
