From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and everything exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Preston for providing some of the best customer service I've had in a long time. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. It took a while because they were down a sushi chef but it was worth the wait. Service was great. Located in a convenient shopping center with plenty of free parking, this restaurant has a charming interior with festive decorations and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our server was attentive and did a great job keeping our plates cleared and drinks refilled throughout the meal. I ordered sushi, which is a challenge to find decent quality in South Georgia. Unfortunately, the sushi here didn't meet my expectations--I found it didn't seem fresh or to use quality ingredients and I didn't take any home. However, the others in my group ordered hibachi and seemed to enjoy their meals. Went to Sushi Thai after a Graduation for lunch. We get seated, get our drinks, and place our orders. Food arrives for all of us except the 2 people who ordered 3 sushi rolls. We were finished watching when the sushi finally came out. So they wolfed the rolls down instead of getting to enjoy them. Then the worst part of the visit. Time to pay, and I ask for the bill. Was told they couldn't give it to me until after I pay. I pay with my card and leave a generous tip. When I get my receipt I see they had already added a tip to our bill. So I end up double tipping. They don't want to deal with me on that, saying I should have known it was on their. Classless way to handle a customer, and a lousy way to try and get a bigger tip. Since they didn't want to deal with it, and they were being dishonest, I will be going to my bank on Monday and disputing the double tip. Will Never spend another dime in this establishment. And will mOr sure to spread my experience everywhere that I can. Terrible way to do business. read more

I didn't even take photos. Had a date night and this was probably my fourth time here over the course of two years. We always sit at the bar. In order miso soup which tasted like it came from a microwave packet. It was lukewarm and not good. The one sushi roll was ruined with lime zest and ruined the entire roll. We ordered spring rolls and dumplings and they were overcooked. You could taste the burnt oil that they cooked it in. And the water tasted like it was water they used to clean their glasses. I am not prone to giving negative reviews, but this was my worst dining experience in years. It is a place I visited years ago and my granddaughter chose this restaurant for her family dinner after HS Graduation exercises. I flew from Washington State and of course approved her choice because we had a good experience from years before. Unfortunately, this is still advertised as a "Hibachi" restaurant and the menu includes "Hibachi Dinner Choices". The meal was being delivered and there was no Hibachi Chef. It was then indentified (not before) as no longer providing live Hibachi even though we were seated at a Hibachi grill. We were a table of 7 and 4 orders were screwed up. The final screwed up order was served 30 minutes after everyone else. I have had better food at a grocery store deli and from the freezer section of my local grocery store. To add insult to injury, they demanded a 20% gratuity for having a large group (of 7). I complained, my son complained and there was no resitition for the most horrible meal I have had in years. This place is a mixed bag...Sushi, Hibachi, Thai...and American decor...There is an entire couch and dinning room set at the front entrance...fully decked out with place settings and everything. Service: Nice enough, little slow given there weren't too many people in at lunch time. Sushi guys seemed to be the busiest and steadily moving....so maybe sushi is what I should have gotten. *Food* Nam Tok: I got Thai level heat...there wasn't any charred crispy bits to the meat-which was a bummer and the onion/carrot/scallions were kinda soggy. The ground rice was equally as soggy...the flavor was okay, but it didn't have any of the umami, salty citrus elements that are common with this dish. The iceberg lettuce...it's just not my thing. Beef Satay: WAY over cooked and tough..it was kind of like pulling jerky off a stick. The hints of curry and general flavor was okay..I took the pickled veggies and dumped them over my Nam Tok in an attempt to liven that up. Spring Rolls: The guts were good, cabbage/glass noodles/bits of pork/carrots...but as you can tell they were burnt on the ends. The side of sauce saved the burnt ends after soaking them in it for a minute. The fresh Basil Rolls: These were actually the best part of the meal. All the veggies were fresh and crispy...rice paper wasn't rubbery or dried out. The shrimp was a warmed up which was odd, but it had zero fishy smell to it. The sauces....they were okay. The first peanut sauce they brought me was bubbly like they dropped sprite in it before it hit my table. The second one they brought was alright. Tried for over an hour to call in an order. Never rang. Ordered food on line to be picked up. Went inside to pick up order. There was no one at the front to greet guest or serve pickup customers. As someone finally arrived, I gave them the order number and my name. When she went to the serving area and acted confused, I knew there was issues with my order. After another 5 minute wait, she came back and apologized for not having confirmed my order. Her excuse was "we are so busy we FORGOT". Sincerely believe this was the best Valentines surprise ever. We usually have a good experience at Sushi Thai- but NOT TONIGHT. Have you ever wanted to eat tortillas dipped in leftover beef grease? This is your spot! Ordered the Bruce Lee roll which was fantastic as ever- but then also got some Roti with curry...and let's just say it was neither roti NOR curry, but instead half of flat thin tortillas with a singular spoonful of gravy. I'm talking the kind of gravy that you get when you buy a packet from the store and add water. Yum! I requested extra chicken in the "curry" and was rewarded with scraps - no such thing as extra meat here. I opened the container thinking that the styrofoam bowl was full of maybe some sauce for the crab angels but no...it was my entire meal. Papaya salad: fresh lettuce topped with papaya. Spiced perfectly, wish there was a little more papaya on the salad. Other than that, it was good. Beef salad: fresh, crunchy lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, hint of lime and super tender & juicy beef. Perfection! Thai basil duck: crispy skin, delicious and juicy meat...rich brown sauce with big chuncks of crispy vegetables. Loaded with flavor. FANTASTIC! My favorite dish thus far. My sticky rice took a while to come out (the only down side of this dish) Overall impression of this place is excellent. So why ONLY 4 stars instead of 5? Good question. Here we go.... Upon being seated, especially when there are only three people in the restaurant, it would be nice to be greated shortly after being sat. I was not. It took about 10 minutes...and my server didn't know I had been sat. Normally not an issue if it's super busy, but uncool if it's super slow. Additionally, my order of sticky rice disnt come out of the kitchen until I was half way through my spicy duck. Weird... Other than that, I liked this place. I love trying different Asian restaurants, so when I saw this place I knew I had to go. The atmosphere was divine, and very well decorated. The menu has penalty of options and the service was top-notch. The gyoza I ordered as an appetizer was but nothing spectacular. I ordered the Katsu Curry, and it was great. The curry had a nice seasoning and the Katsu had a nice crunch. The katsu also came with a very nice salad with genger dressing. You can adjust the spice levels on some of the dishes as well. My friend ordered the tempura sushi and said it was a tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you want some good Japanese or Thai food. read more

I didn't care for it, unfortunately. I had read the many great reviews and figured I would try it out since the other Thai place I wanted to try was closed that day. I opted for the teriyaki chicken lunch combo that came with the option of miso soup or salad. I selected the salad. I also got the fried ice cream. Order took over 30 minutes to be prepared. The decor of the restaurant is super cute, nice music. I noticed a piano inside as well. Upon getting home and eating the food I was super disappointed. The rice was dry - no flavor. Thankfully, the yum yum sauce helped. I had a headache for the rest of the day. Wasn't told at the time of ordering but the only salad dressing was a type of ginger dressing. Found that out when I received my order and then asked what type of dressing was provided. Luckily it tasted pretty good with the salad. The fried ice cream wasn't like the typical fried ice cream I've had many times before from other places. It only came with chocolate sauce/ syrup. This was one of my favorite places in Warner Robins Georgia. The last few times I wasn't impressed so they have been few and far between. The sushi all tasted slightly fishy which should have stopped me but with the long wait and I was hungry I dove in. The presentation looked yummy and fresh but the fishy aftertaste from the spicy tuna left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I had the bull dog roll which had spicy tuna with a slice of tuna on top and a drop of the devils sauce on top(hot). I also had the Kamikaze salad which tasted fishy as well and used to be my favorite. It was very saucy tonight with to much liquid as if trying to hide something. I also had Tom Kha shrimp soup which was very plain with no flavor other than a light coconut taste. I guess I should have left when the hostess expressed apologies due to short staff, citing employees walked out after being Holland at due to mask wearing policy. As I'm signing the receipt the lowest tip amount was 20% on her phone set up. Sweet girl but was either on the phone or in a hurry to going by as I tried to get her attention for more coke (due to the heat from the spicy sauce) which they ran out of and I am a tea drinker but they were out of it as well. I don't like giving bad reviews but I want people to be aware that not all experiences end in 5 stars. These businesses want us to support them but not take responsibility for bad service or bad food. This place was pretty good. We found it on Yelp and just gave it a try. Was very happy with everything except for the salad that came with the hibachi. The lettuce was wilted like it had sat for a day or two and the tomato slice that was in there looked a little on the old said as well. Switched it for the miso soup which was better. The green curry was amazing. This is one of my favorite curries. I got it at a spice level for and it was not too hot, would try the 5 next time. Flavor was amazing. The ribeye hibachi was great, tender and juicy. All the staff seemed pretty kind and attentive. Only thing I would say I did not like outside of the salad was these big fans they had going inside. One was blowing right at our table when we were seated and we had to ask for it to be turned off if not turned away from us. They were very loud. After it was turned off it was a lot better. They had live plants all around that were nice and a Japanese decor. Nice for a group lunch or chill date. But ask them to sit you away because they kept putting everybody right beside each other when there were plenty open tables to space people out. read more

I really enjoy Hibachi. Usually, it's cooked hot at the table. Unfortunately, my chicken hibachi was not hot. The vegetables were not as crisp and fresh as the tabletop hibachi. Our server, Liv, was very pleasant. We also had Thai beef salad that was not as good as we are used to. The restaurant was very nice. The decor and atmosphere was very, very nice. We eat Thai so often and at many different places. The salad was much smaller and did not come with the customary rice. The spiciness was also not on scale with other restaurants. I'm new to the area and wanted to try something new as I love trying all types of food. I went in yesterday and there were not too many people inside, but they were busy with takeout and online orders. I ordered the Pad See Ew with Tom Yum soup and Sushi Thai egg rolls. The Tom Yum Soup was very good, it was hot and I loved the taste of the lemon in the soup. The Sushi Thai egg rolls were okay, a little too salty for my taste, but I would likely order them again. The dipping sauce for the egg rolls was not my taste it was like a basic sweet and sour sauce. But the waitress brought me another dipping sauce she though would be a good option. My biggest disappointment was the Pad See Ew. It was not at all appetizing to me. I've known the dish to be very flavorful and filling. The noodles were half cooked and just bland. The chicken was what I was expecting, just chucks of chicken that weren't flavorful on the roe own. What saved the dish was the veggies I loved the broccoli and carrots in the sauce. As you can see from the picture below, I didn't eat of the meat, but the veggies I didn't. I had some family try to see if it was jut me and my "big city" taste buds. Overall, I have had better, but I should have done a dine in experience. The inside is beautiful, the decor and ambience gives sophistication and is perfect for a date night. Visited this sushi thai today for lunch with my son and had an unusual experience. On a positive note, the food and service was good. On the flip, we were approached by a complete stranger during our meal who asked if we'd purchase her some food. I apologized and told her I couldn't. She then proceeded to go up to the front and order food and told the lady I was paying. I shook my head no and told the waitress I was not. The lady stayed and was waiting on food I presume that someone offered to pay for. I paid for our meal, which I thought was high, but you don't get an actual ticket as you're paying at the table. Turns out I was charged for 3 items I didn't order nor recieve totaling almost $20. Our waitress had accidentally put another tables order on our ticket. UPDATE: The one star review is for the way this whole situation was handled. When I received a message on Facebook from the restaurant after I reached out to them, I received a short apology accompanied by a lengthy explanation to how Sushi Thai partners up with other organizations to fed the homeless and has been featured on WMAZ etc., etc. While I commend this generous act, it's completley separate from the situation that I, as a paying customer experienced on Sunday. The owner herself was outside enjoying her meal, with I assume family while this transpired inside and I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate being approached by someone asking for their food to be paid for. read more

One of my favorite sushi places in town! I absolutely love their sushi rice and I always ask for extra sides of just the rice because it's just that good! They put orange caviar on a lot of their rolls which makes even the cheaper, more basic ones like a California roll taste amazing. They have some really good specialty drinks like bubble teas as well that you have to get when you go. Their so sweet and good. We stopped in right at 8 yesterday. An employee came to inform us that we couldn't be seated and dine in but they would take an order for take out. Posted closing time was 9 pm. Enough time for us to sit, order, eat and be out. He said the manager told them there was too much work to do to be able to close so they couldn't seat us. It was sad that Stephanie, the manager, sent an employee instead of coming to express this to us herself. It was a quiet atmosphere but we have no idea how the food tastes. We drove down to Mekan, which I highly recommend for great service, excellent food and a good environment, who also closed at 9. They happily took us and we were able to eat and leave with enough time to pass back by Thai Sushi at 9:03 PM. To still see their lot with cars in it. Sad to see business turned away... they could've even offered outdoor seating as an option as it was so nice out... just lazy service in my opinion. read more

This is really quite good. I was in Warner Robins anyway a few days ago and looking for somewhere to eat and decided on Sushi Thai. I ordere a Chicken Pad Thai. The waitress asked if I wanted it spicy, and I said yes, and that I wanted it to have a spiciness of about 4.5/5. Now, normally when I go to restaurants and ask for spicy, it's usually not as hot as it could be. Not so Sushi Thai! If you ask for something hot, you get hot! I am so incredibly delighted to eat at a place that will give me something as hot as a like. Service was also excellent. The waitress was quick to refill my water, the meal arrived quickly, and she was friendly and polite. Seriously awesome stuff. read more
