My son and I came out for a visit to WSU. We were met with a smile and the nicest staff I've ever experienced. They were so accommodating. We had a small technical issue with our television, and it was fixed immediately. If you're visiting campus, I highly recommend this hotel! Tip: call ahead to reserve your shuttle from the airport. I am VERY picky about cleanliness!! VERY!! If at all possible, I check rooms out before I rent them. I want CLEAN, and I do not want to detect any odors when I step inside (I loathe smelling disinfectant spray - or worse!). This Residence Inn meets my standards! I have stayed here twice and have been very satisfied. The rooms are simple but nice. I haven't needed a kitchenette but it would be useful for a long stay. I like that the floors do not have carpeting. As this is a college town I considered that it could be noisy, but both stays were quiet. The employees have all been very nice. A+ read more

This hotel is actually on the WSU campus, although the hotel parking pass won't work on the WSU campus parking lots. It is easy to walk from the hotel to the school buildings. The hotel also provides with free shuttle bus to take us to any spot on the WSU campus. When I booked this hotel online, I wasn't too impressed by the photos. However, when we arrived our studio, we got a big WOW! The hotel studio was very spacious, and the kitchen was a full kitchen with everything equipped. If you are visiting your kids who study at the WSU, you can make them dinner here. Everything was very nice, just like what you would have at home. Although I did not cook during my stay, I did bring some to-go food back to the hotel and used the plates and the utensils provided by the hotel. I felt like I was eating at home. The bathroom was also spacious. There's only a shower, no bath tub, but it's okay for me since I am a shower person anyways. Because it's a studio type of room, the living room area and sleep area were separated, which was good as people who want to watch the TV won't bother people who want to sleep. My son even brought in his electrical keyboard to play in the living room area. Yes, the space was big enough to include a full size keyboard. The breakfast was pre-packaged food such as bagels and sandwiches. They were served warm on the food warmer. While we were a bit disappointed that we couldn't customize as we normally do at most hotels, we did understand that this might be the way to prevent COVID. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I really have nothing to complain about. If you are visiting the WSU, you really should consider this hotel. read more

I never stayed at this hotel, but I am writing a review anyway because of their thoughtful customer service. I booked a one-night stay at this hotel earlier this month, but on the night before the arrival date, I found out there was a wildfire close to the facility, and the air quality forecast painted a horrible future (red alert). As one of my family members has a severe respiratory condition, I had to cancel the trip. I didn't have high hopes, but I called the facility, explained my situation, and tried to see if I could either get a credit for a later date or get a refund. Lyndel was very sweet. He explained to me that he did not have the authority to cancel the reservation but gave me his GM's (Jessica's) contact info. Jessica replied to me with a very kind letter the next day and promptly helped me cancel the stay without any penalty. read more

This place is a great place to stay when in Pullman. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly. They have a nice breakfast, covid style. It's more like a take out but you pre-order. The pool and hot tub area are open, as is the fire pit area. The area is super quiet. We are currently staying here and where do I begin. Check in took over 30 minutes. Not that big of a deal. The kitchen was filthy; dirty utensils, plates, and cookware. The last time we stayed here, the kitchen was much more complete. We stay here to cook meals but there isn't enough cookware and utensils to do it. We were able to have those items brought up. The security door at the bottom of the stairs literally has no lock. Anyone can help themselves. Found a crushed up can of pringles in the couch...crumbs everywhere. read more

Beautiful hotel - my room was huge, spacious and extremely clean. I came graduation weekend and it was a mad house, but the customer service was excellent. The hotel was very quiet and within walking distance of the WSU gym/coliseum (where graduation was). Super convenient! I forgot toothpaste and they brought it up immediately (I was in a rush for graduation). I had to leave at 4am to drive to Spokane, and Matthew was fantastic upon check out. I needed a STRONG coffee for the 1.5 hour drive, and he wheeled out freshly made coffee just at that time, which I was super appreciative of (double fisted). Great hotel - loved it! read more

It could have been better. I requested an accessible room and I asked the female staff member. She looked and confirmed it. I went upstairs and it was not accessible. Obviously, she did not know what she was doing. Then, the room was very dirty. It was not cleaned properly and they did not have another room available. I had to use a towel and clean the bathroom. Also, you could feel the dirt in the carpets, yuck!! The towel was so dirty so that is how I know they don't clean properly. We will never come here again. Nice area close to WSU stadium and Gym if down there for that. I had 3 problems though...1 breakfast was not the best at all and a lot of things were out and they were waiting on the truck 2 hot tub was closed on Sunday night bc chemicals and Saturday night kids were jumping in and out of pool and hot tub so really couldn't enjoy it to relax. 3 on the day of checkout after I got back to the room from breakfast 2 kids say they "found a key and were going around testing all the doors to see what room door it opened" now if that is not a safety concern I don't know what is. I packed our things and left IMMEDIATELY! My gf had literally a panic attack from that. Had to spend about 30 minutes in the parking lot to calm her down so she would be able to drive. Nice looking hotel around great scenery but these last few days reminds me why I go through the troubles of renting a house from bro instead of staying at hotels. read more

In Pullman, Washington, this is THE hotel. Not only is it the only hotel actually on the WSU campus, it's also the newest and cleanest in town. Plus, there's a free shuttle to/from any place on campus or the nearby Pullman airport. The tiny lobby bar is tiny, but the bartender is a total gem with the best pours of drinks I've had ever ... ever. My nightly Gin & Tonic regimen was basically Gin & a splash of tonic. Perfect! It also seems like they have lobby events most evenings. The two coolest were free S'mores one night and the Southfork Public House Food Truck serving up Cougar Gold Mac & Cheese another night. I had the pleasure of staying here for a couple visits to town over a couple weeks and it was a good hotel for anyone doing business at WSU. My room was clean and new with a Kitchen, swivel TV, and large cool glass shower. The only annoyance was both rooms had full size refrigerators that were ridiculously loud ... so, I unplugged them and enjoyed a good nights rest. The on-site Fitness Center is a-ok while the Business Center is just a computer in the lobby next to the bar. Finally, breakfast was fast and free. DIY Waffles, fresh bananas, and scrambled eggs were the highlights. When it came time to book my next trip to Pullman for business, there was no doubt where I'd be staying ... Fresh, crisp and modern! The Marriott bed and pillows are fantastically comfortable, the rooms spacious and modern. My room had a large living room with big TV and a private bedroom with another TV. Posh. The only glitch is I couldn't connect to the internet in my room. When I finally did, I lat found out that I had to pay. Nearly all Marriott' s fit wifi to Elites. So the fact this property isn't that generous should be clearly displayed on the sign-up website. The barroom is very cool, sleek. No bathtubs here. And no shower curtain, just a pane of glass which I like a lot. But new building glitch, the toilet wouldn't flush well and despite the cool factor if the shower, the water pressure was very low which as we all know, is the key to a good shower... Overall a great stay, but not without a few problems . read more

This is my favorite hotel in Pullman! It is typical for a Residence Inn, but that is good. It is clean, quiet and is in the best location as it is on the edge of campus. Though it is close to "Apartmentland", I never hear parties. That is probably because a WSU graduate apartment is next door. They offer a shuttle to the airport, but I have never used it. Pricing gouging at its finest. No amenities, no bar, no dining, no sitting in the lobby, no fire pit, no hot breakfast. Location good and room nice. NOT WORTH almost $300 a night. If you can't offer your amenities then lower your price!! Customer service is very nice. Nothing is even going on this weekend for an excuse to price gouge. Paid $280 with tax. By now ( a year into the pandemic) hotels have worked out still having hot food items for breakfast. At almost $300 a night there should be more than cereal bars, fruit and yogurt for breakfast in the morning. It's not hard to make available something like a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich to warm in your room, hot oatmeal, pancakes and more. Have one person manning the breakfast area to serve. Super disappointed. Plus you could sit nowhere in the lobby or hotel other than your room. Our bedroom for three people came with two pillows total. While the front desk was happy to get more bedding it seems like the bedroom should be ready to have three people sleep there not make us get extra items in order to make that happen. Nice facilities and everything is open -- pool, bar, etc. But if you're expecting even a minimum of people to comply with state law and many, many posted signs look elsewhere. I do feel for any employees who are put in a position where they have to enforce mask-wearing (hence only deducting two stars instead of absolutely flaming this place) but they're not making any effort at all. And Pullman has hit an all-time high in COVID cases. I've seen more mask wearing at hotels in TN and NC. read more

Recently stayed here for a business trip, and thought it was a great hotel (especially since there is not a lot to choose from between Pullman and Moscow). I like that the new Residence Inn's are shooting for a "boutique" feel to their decor, and it's definitely an upgrade from the older Residence Inns. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, which really made my stay more enjoyable. Room was clean and nicely laid out, with a full kitchen and living room area. Bed was really comfy, and shower had good water pressure, which are two things I always look for. Great location to WSU (within walking distance), and they also provide complimentary airport shuttle service, which came in handy since a flight I was on got cancelled, and I had already turned my rental care back in. Great stay and convenient for business on WSU campus. They have a great full breakfast, coffee is always available, rooms are nicely appointed and the bed provides Marriott sleep. A full kitchen in the room includes a dishwasher, which is a rare touch. The room also has a shower-only set-up; the water pressure is a little underwhelming, but it's stylish. The bar pours generously, and the hotel has nightly lobby events. The airport shuttle is convenient and present for all flight arrivals. For departures, the hours listed at the front desk deviate from the actual schedule a bit. All employees save one that I encountered were incredibly helpful and friendly. The girl working the front desk on the morning of 8 October - Shawna, I believe - needs some retraining on customer service. She was surly, rude and her general attitude communicated that everything she did was a very inconvenient favor for the customer. Stayed here for my boyfriends birthday and it was really nice. We weren't able to check on til 5, which is after regular check in because they were short staffed. They were kind enough to give us a complimentary drink. We were really excited about the breakfast in the morning but sadly the waffle machine wasn't out, the rest of the food was good though. The room was really nice with a kitchen, the only downside is that the kitchen didn't have a stove. Overall a great stay. They have high quality shampoo, and conditioner which was a nice change! While the location is a little far from campus, it's a great facility. The breakfast is better than most hotel buffets. I really enjoyed the bar, but was surprised it isn't open on Sunday nights. The staff is very nice and it's very clean. My one negative (besides the bar not open on Sunday) is there is only one ice machine on the ground floor. This place books fast during popular weekends during the school year. The rates climb pretty high, too. But it's one of the best places to stay in Pullman. read more

First thing, Jacob was amazing. They were busy and he was hustling. So, kudos!!! He moved me because the bathroom was dirty and was accommodating regarding the lack of amenities and lowered my room cost. I get that they're understaffed due to Covid 19, but when cleaning, they need to be meticulous. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and some unknown red/rust colored substance on the wall by the door stop in the kitchen. Rates are a little pricy for what you're giving up in amenities. No breakfast, no internet tv, pool, gym, etc. You get the point. I understand all those things. Just please make sure things are cleaned throughly, especially in this uncertain times. read more

A hidden gym in Pullman. I grew up in Pullman way way way before this place was ever built. So close to campus you don't need to rent a car. The hotel van will come pick you up at the airport and whisk you wherever you have to go. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully designed. The breakfasts are incredible. you can get a room that comes with breakfast or are you can go down and order right off the menu. It's the new Marriott design and it's wonderful. The customer service is over the top. And did I mention campus is only a block away. So make your reservations early becauseIt's hard to get one there are two Marriotts right next to each other so look on the web and see which one you want they're both spectacular and very new to Pullman. The property is nice and is obviously the best in Pullman. The problem is they take advantage of their customers during football season. I am perfectly fine with paying a premium for busy weekends but to charge, $375 per night which is 2 1/2 times their normal weekend rate is a rip off. Heck I was in Chicago this week and my rate at the Drake Hotel, a luxury property, was $195 plus taxes per night. As graduate of the Hotel & Restaurant Administration program at WSU I understand making a profit, however,this is pure thievery. Hopefully there will be more Hotel/Motel chains coming to Pullman. Competition is a good thing and I am confident the Residence Inn will be less likely to fleece their incoming visitors. read more

I recently stayed here. I thought the building lobby area was very nice and contemporary. The decor throughout was great. They also have a full hot breakfast that was included with our stay. I was apprehensive to try anything that was not prepared and packagrd offsite. I was concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen after seeing how dirty my room was. The place is brand new so there was no reason for me to smell and see black mold/mildew in the shower area. There were also splatters of different colors on the shower walls. All of the shelves in the bathroom were coated in dust. I will say that the contemporary design looks like a logistical nightmare for the housekeeping staff but it looked like the person assigned to my room took a nap instead of cleaning. It was sad to see a new buisness in my community with so much potential would have such low standards. read more

I recently had my wedding in Pullman, WA with the majority of the whole wedding party and guests being from out of town, we all stayed at the Marriott. I can't think of a negative thing to say. The rooms were very spacious and clean, staff friendly and accommodating, full on continental breakfast every morning that was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Also, we had our rehearsal dinner at the hotel -catered by Banyans -and it was simply amazing. The room it was in was the perfect size, the food was great, had a plug in for our iPod to play music. Stayed here for two weeks and it's probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The hospitality is amazing. Employees are friendly and caring. They make sure you're needs are taking care of and give great recommendations as far as things to do in the area, restaurants, bars, etc. the hotel bar doesn't have a huge selection but it does have a great selection. This was my first time staying at this hotel and let me tell you..... It was amazing! His place is absolutely beautiful! The decor is sleek and modern, and very eco friendly. I absolutely loved the room I stood in! It was very space, huge bed and flat screen TV, cute little kitchen (with pots, pans, plates, silverware, and even a full sized fridge), and very fluffy towels! Lol. There's a 24-hour gym, mini-market, and the continental breakfast is delicious! They even have "social hours" with free food and drinks (I didn't have a chance to see what this was all about). If you're planning on visiting Pullman and need a place to stay, this place is a must! The only negative thing I have to say is, the shuttle service to/from the airport was horrible. A shuttle ride from the airport had been arranged beforehand, and the shuttle was supposed to pick me up at 11:15pm. By 11:35pm, the shuttle had still not arrived. I called the front desk of the hotel and was told that the shuttle had left "2 minutes ago." The shuttle arrived 15-20 minutes later, only it never stopped. The shuttle driver just drove through the parking lot and drove away. I called the Front Desk of the Hotel and let the Front Desk Agent know what happened. He seemed surprised when I told him that the Shuttle driver never stopped and that he would give him a call. 15 minutes later, the shuttle finally comes back to the airport. The shuttle driver seemed really irritated that he had to pick me up, like if I was inconveniencing him. By the time I got to the hotel and to my room, it was after 12:15 in the morning. I was so disappointed in the shuttle service that when I had to go back to the airport, I made sure to arrange for my own transportation. Other than that, everything else was fabulous! read more
