It's a really nice hotel in Pullman Washington. If you've ever tried to book a hotel in Pullman you know that the options are pretty limited. This seems like one of the nicer options that's available. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Hampton inn. The rooms are nice. The staff was friendly and professional. There is an indoor pool as well. I didn't use it, but it's there. There is also a gym. The hotel has a restaurant, it's Washington State University themed if that matters to you. They also offer breakfast. They also have the snack pantry at the front of the hotel that offers highly overpriced items, but it's there and it's convenient. They also do something where they have milk and cookies for free in the lobby at night, don't quote me on the exact times. Overall, in Pullman your options are limited, and this is a good option from my perspective. read more

Staff are friendly and pleasant. The free morning breakfast was fine. It was never too crowded in the dining area. Service in the bar/restaurant was very slow. One server for several tables. The flatbread was burnt after waiting for nearly 30 minutes. They seem like young adults in the kitchen so not sure what was happening. read more

Terrible Experience - DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL! I booked Hampton Inn Pullman, WA because my daughter's school jazz band trip was staying here. I wanted to be in the same hotel, so even though I booked through Booking.com, I thought it would be straightforward. Originally, my reservation was from 04/16/25 to 04/19/25. However, the school later informed us we no longer needed the night of 04/16. I called the hotel directly on 04/10/25 to modify the reservation, but they told me I had to contact Booking.com since I booked through them. I immediately called Booking.com and spoke with a representative named Richard. He put me on hold, contacted the hotel, and told me the hotel approved my new dates: 04/17-04/19. I even received a confirmation email confirming this change. Fast forward to today, 04/17/25 -- after driving SIX HOURS from Oregon to Pullman -- I arrived at the hotel around 6 PM, only to be told by the front desk that they couldn't find my reservation! The front desk got a manager named Sarah, who told me my reservation was CANCELLED yesterday because I "no-showed" on 04/16!! Excuse me??? I explained that I had a confirmation that the reservation was modified! Sarah then claimed the hotel never received any notification from Booking.com regarding the date change. According to them, they still had my reservation for 04/16-04/19, and because I didn't show up on 04/16, they canceled it! To make it worse, the hotel was now completely sold out. I was furious. After driving all day, I was stranded with no room because of their poor communication (or lies). Sarah half-heartedly offered to call around for other hotels, but at that point, I told her I didn't need her help -- I couldn't trust anything from this hotel. It didn't stop there -- I then spent over an hour trying to reach Booking.com (which is a nightmare on its own). After waiting forever, I finally spoke to a woman (Fina or Tina?) who said she would contact the hotel. She left me on hold for a long time -- then HUNG UP ON ME! No call back. No nothing. So I called again, waited another 15 minutes, and spoke with a man named Alan. Same thing: Alan tried to contact the hotel. Eventually, Alan told me that Booking.com had proof that they contacted a hotel staff named "Phoebe" on 04/10 regarding my date modification. BUT the hotel still denied ever receiving any information, and even claimed there was no Phoebe working there. Seriously? Someone is lying -- either Booking.com or Hampton Inn Pullman -- but the bottom line is I ended up without a hotel after a 6-hour drive, despite having a confirmed, modified reservation. Hampton Inn Pullman and Booking.com completely failed me. I would NEVER recommend staying here or booking with Booking.com. Neither company took ownership of their mistake, and I was the one left scrambling late at night to find a place to stay. Shame on you, Hampton Inn Pullman and Booking.com! read more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn on a recent weekend and we'll return. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were friendly and on top of everything. I needed a quiet place for a conference call and a staff member let me use a meeting room for an hour which was very gracious. The morning breakfast was good and the staff were working hard. The front desk team were informed about local restaurants and check in and check out was a breeze. We'll be back! read more

Hotel was nicely presented. The room was comfortable. The nightlight in the bathroom is a nice touch for us old men, if you know what I mean. Provided continental breakfast was the usual fare with make your own waffles and smoked sausage. They provided shuttle pick up for our flight that arrived at midnight which was a blessing since the car rental place was already closed. They even gave us ride back to get rental car later that day. Only downside was the overnight crew wasn't the most friendly bunch of guys. But who is friendly after midnight? read more

Looks like they just did a renovation and I liked it! I haven't stayed there in a very long time but my stay was nice. Breakfast was very good considering it was free. More than just a continental. I wish they would change some of the hot items day to day, but again can't complain since it was included. I think the front desk was understaffed at times or they were in the back doing something a lot of the time. Clean, spacious rooms! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Customer service was amazing from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. Brand new workout facility and a full hot breakfast! Very nice outdoor seating area! Additionally, I left my AirPods in the room and when I called the front desk, the housekeeping staff had turned them in and the hotel is mailing them to my house. I can't say enough good stuff about this hotel. This place really is clean and the staff is excellent. The included breakfast is way above average - This morning (a Tuesday) there were two types of omelets, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, assorted carby goodness (bread, bagels, pastries) and coffee, tea and juice. All of it fresh, delicious, and very good quality. The also have some kind of super-futuristic pancake-making device; no idea how it works bet I bet the kids would love it. Most importantly... If you need a pet-friendly hotel in Pullman, this place is tops. They offer a solid discount if you're bringing your pet to the WSU vet school, which is a nice touch and completely unexpected. There's a sizable green space next to the hotel and they placed my crippled pup and me in a room right by the door. Very thoughtful. A great hotel for any purpose, and a real winner if you're bringing your pet to the WSU vet school. read more

Would be 5 Star but the drain in 162 would not stay open for showering and showerhead lame and without handheld option. Just go with Waterpik, they work. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating or welcoming. Breakfast each morning was fully stocked and delicious. The cookies at night are a plus and make the stay even that much more enjoyable. The mattress and bedding were clean and super comfortable. We have a brand new luxury mattress at home and the hotel mattress was superior. Pool and hot tub area was clean and refreshing. Would definitely stay here again. Stayed at a Hyatt in Davis CA a few weeks ago which could take a lesson from this Holiday Inn. read more

Here's my story. I had tried to book a room at the Holiday Inn Express, but they were full. So, I went for the not-as-nice, but equally convenient Quality Inn Paradise Creek. Just to be on the safe side, I called the QIPC the night before I arrived to ask how to request an airport shuttle. "No problem!" they said, "we'll have the shuttle there anyway to pick up some other people who are coming in." Well, I get off the plane and no shuttle. So, I called the Dubious-Quality Inn and the desk clerk said there was no note of anyone needing a shuttle. "Who needs a note?" I said, "here I am -- bring on the shuttle!" That's when the clerk advised that, thinking they wouldn't need to send out the shuttle, they sent everyone but the aforementioned desk clerk home. He said he'd call me a taxi instead. After waiting a while for the taxi, I decided to call the Holiday Inn Express one more time, and -- voila! -- they had a cancellation and now had a room for me. I took it (cancelled the taxi and QIPC reservation) and was picked up in a few minutes by the HIE shuttle. For the rest of my stay, the service was absolutely superb, polite, and friendly. When I needed to be taken somewhere, they cheerfully shuttled me around. When it was time to head to the airport, I called them from the WSU campus to come fetch me. They suggested that they bring up my suitcase -- which I had left at the front desk earlier in the day after checking out. At the appointed hour, I received a call from the front desk telling me that the shuttle was waiting out front to pick me up, and that they had called Horizon Air to let me know I was on my way. Extraordinary! So if you'd like to stay at a hotel where the staff goes well out of its way to take care of you, book a room at the Quality Inn Paradise Creek. And then plan on them screwing up so you can wind up at the Holiday Inn Express instead. read more

A wonderful place to stay! We had to bring my dog to WSU for radiation therapy. Because of the drive, we came up the night before his appointment. Their pet policy allows dogs 60lbs or less to stay in the room with a $20/night pet fee. I haven't brought my dog on trips much, and I was worried that a pet designated room might be less than cleanly. But, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. The pet designated rooms are on the first floor, with close access to the large pet area out back (for walking your pup and letting him 'do his business.' They have milk and cookie hour every night (sweet!), breakfast in the mornings, a pool, fitness room, and free wifi (YES!!). I loved that the breakfast also had hot foods like eggs and bacon, and that they included some lactose-free/gluten-free yogurt! I would definitely stay here again anytime I come to Pullman! read more

The hotel was fine. The staff was more than friendly. The breakfast was meh. Bring your earplugs in case you have the misfortune of getting room #118. It is at the very end of the first floor hall closest to the exit to the back parking lot. The only good thing about it is that you're close to a secondary parking lot. Otherwise you have to deal with the noise from people coming and going at all hours and with the noise from people stomping both up and down the stairs and in the room above. When I brought this to the staff's attention I was told it would be noted in my account and I wouldn't be placed on the first floor again. I may be wrong, but when spending over $200 on a 3 star room I do expect a little more compensation than that when I don't get any sleep. That is the reason we book hotel rooms, right? To get some sleep. I'm not underage looking for a place to party anymore and when I was that definitely would not have been in the budget! So, I will give the Holiday Inn Express another try, only because I have a kid who's about to start school at WSU and will need a place to crash once in awhile but if they screw it up again that will be it. We stayed here about a month ago and HIGHLY recommend. The rooms are decent sized and nice. The kids loved the pool. Yummy free cookies in the lobby in the evenings. Fantastico! When traveling budget-style my standards are low, but this Holiday Inn Express managed to impress. Despite the fact the coffee they serve is an abomination unfit for human consumption everything else was pretty great. We got a pet friendly room (only have the double queens for those, boo) near the parking lot, which was awesome. The room was clean, smelled great, and had fairly new furniture. Also, the shower was nicer than ours at home, so that's cool. The pool, gift shop, and gym are open until 11pm, the only downside being the lack of WSU themed swimwear for me to purchase ironically for my wifey. Breakfast was a sweet spread including biscuits and gravy, eggs, and more (though ended a bit early for me). read more

Two or three times a year I visit pullman for work and enjoy staying here. The front desk, lobby (food worker), shuttle staff and housekeeping are all friendly. I have never had a bad experience here. The last two times, I was upgraded to a fireplace 2-room suite for $20 more. Yeah, it's Pullman, but this is the best property in the area. I lived in Pullman, WA for nearly eight years and except for the first few days after I moved there and before my furniture arrived, I had no reason to stay at this Holiday Inn. I have since moved and returned recently to speak at a conference at Washington State University. What a marvelous hotel with a fabulous staff. We were put up here. Perhaps it is the increased competition from other hotels opening in the area, as some suggested when I told them this Holiday Inn was great, but whatever the reason, our stay was memorable. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the free breakfast even included egg whites (which pleased my wife). Yet, the crowning touch was the staff. They were primarily WSU students, but were very helpful and exceptional. We flew in and decided not to rent a car, and it did not matter. The staff has a shuttle service that took us to our locations and then picked us up afterwards. I have stayed at other hotels in Pullman, and they are suitable and well run, but the Holiday Inn in Pullman was different. The place was welcoming, warm, and friendly. I will always stay there whenever I visit Pullman. read more

The management is exquisite. However the room service is fairly rude. They got offended and didn't respect the do not disturb post on my door. The breakfast was decent except for the eggs. My Dad stayed here for two months while his dog got radiation treatment at the university veterinary clinic. I came up for a week and my sister came out several times to keep the two company. They house a lot of pet owners for treatment at the clinic. They were very nice to my 82 yo Dad and his baby while she got treatment. They have a pretty expansive breakfast spread every morning and the place was fairly quiet and clean. read more

I do also enjoy staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Lewiston, ID because they are more accommodating and have a great breakfast, but what is that odor outside that envelops the city of Lewiston? read more

Couldn't have asked for a friendlier staff, cleaner room or even a better hotel breakfast. Only issue was that motor homes were blocking parking of paying guests.
