We loved the relaxed vibe of our 2-night stay at Hotel McCoy and all the art and cool murals. Checking in and out was a breeze. I felt they had ample parking. Our room was clean and didn't have any funky smells. The oatmeal breakfast bar and coffee was a fun idea and tasted delicious. I discovered a new shampoo and conditioner brand that made my hair feel silky called Paya that was in our shower. I ordered it right away for home. I appreciate that hospitality doesn't come in everyday and is by request, which made us feel more relaxed and that we had more privacy. We would stay here again and will recommend Hotel McCoy to others. We felt right at home!

It's move in week for my kiddo and I needed a place to stay close to campus. Hotel McCoy is conveniently located close to the WSU campus and walking distance to Main Street. I really love how modern the hotel is and the rooms have everything you'd need! It reminded me as if I was visiting a friends home, very cozy and comfy. In addition to the awesome vibe of the hotel they have great amenities! Hotel bar with regional wines, beer and food! Art gallery Moon deck and fireplace Coffee available all day for guests Gift shop and snacks available for purchase Free breakfast A gym equipped with a Peleton mirror and bike Free Wi-Fi Friendly and helpful staff Since my kiddo will be at WSU for the next four years, this will be my go-to hotel for the years to come! Loved my stay here and I'm a fan!

Cute updated motel close to Washington State University. Friendly staff. Great oatmeal bar for breakfast and wine and beer for later. They support local businesses and artists. Well definitely stay here again.

Delicious oatmeal bar!

Absolutely loved staying here! It's a cute and unique spot with kind staff, cool common areas where we enjoyed a drink, and clean rooms.

I had misgivings when I drove to this site and it looked very much like an old fashioned motel. However I was very glad to see there was more to this place than it appeared. Inside the lobby is a very friendly attendant who offered us a chip to get a free ale or beer. Lobby had some unique touches like an old fashioned typewriter and lots of artwork. We came to our room and were pleasantly surprised. It was like a small adorable studio. Large bed and leather pull out sofa. A huge TV was in front of the bed and with the Roku they had, there was SO many options to watch- it was amazing! There were also vintage kitchen appliances. How adorable is that. I didn't realize there would be a stove and toaster here. Floor was a nice plank (hate hotel carpet) and everything was clean and new looking. There was a fun chalkboard on the wall where I played tic tac toe and hangman with my son. Tv had every channel you could want. This place was pricier than nearby hotels but to me very much worth it!

Nice vibe. Decent prices except football weekends. Lobby bar is fun. Have stayed there a few times.

We enjoyed breakfast here both mornings, which was much better than anything on the go, and the happy hour bar was nice to unwind in. Check in was fine, although they forgot to acknowledge my Bonvoy rewards. Once I asked if they had bottled water, they remembered my reward snacks. The beds are hard and the pillows are soft, so that was a bummer. They provide soap and shampoo in the shower but no extra amenities/vanity kits. Location is key, right on campus makes it easy to get around for WSU events. Parking is convenient and free.

My sole complaint is that whoever designed the ventilation did a bad job as the attached picture will illustrate. The bathrooms, which are very nice, generate a great deal of moisture and steam. The moisture and steam does not get sucked out of the bathrooms adequately by the ventilation. Consequently there is a great deal of moisture and mold in the walls and, in this case, on the ceiling. Those who have health reactions to such conditions should avoid this property.

The property design seemed to have been a larger brand back in the day, and Choice Hotels purchased it and put a Quality Inn within its place. I was here for only one night while traveling out of Seattle en route to northern Idaho + Montana in July 2021. I think that I paid $98 with tax, which is about right due to high demand with summer travel following Covid times from the year prior. My room on the 2nd floor was fine. A bit larger than expected, with well-maintained furniture that conveys a classic design of hotel furniture from a decade or so ago in the Palouse area. I found my room to be quite cozy and quiet before heading out to my destination the next day. Breakfast was so-so, in that an employee actually makes eggs, sausage, etc. I fully expected nothing but cereal and toast, yet was surprised that there was a little bit more of an offering (yet not a whole lot more). Parking can be confusing, in that there is a dentist's office that shares the parking lot with the hotel (I worried about him getting vehicles towed). The rest of the parking lot seems to be in the front of the building, yet slightly tight. Definitely recommend getting a parking space early, if applicable. I did notice a shuttle van parked next to the hotel, so check that out if you need rides to the airport. There is a pool here, as well as fitness center on the 2nd floor (didn't appear open). There is a walking/running trail across the street, and the Washington State University campus is in reasonable walking distance from this property off of Bishop. Downtown Pullman isn't that far away (just beyond the bridge from WSU) with eateries and other small shopping venues. Overall, I'd say that this particular Quality Inn has an above average value than most of the other Quality Inn properties that represent the brand.

Third, we could not understand the motel's office attendance language. Her English was hideous. We had to ask her to repeat helself several times. The issue was that the reservation wasn't under our name, it was made by our granddaughter. As we showed her the online receipt with my granddaughter's name on it, she kept asking questions without reviewing our printout. After finally getting it all squared out, we had to give her a credit card to hold the room. She said it was in case of damages. We understood but she later returned to the room asking for my granddaughter to fill out the form, she said it had to be filled out by the same person who booked it. We called our granddaughter (luckily she was in the area, as we were in Pullman for her graduation). The woman asked her for her credit card as well. We were outraged. We checked out early in the morning. We will never stay there again! By the way, the woman appeared to be either the owner or the owner's kin of the establishment. I honestly don't think she knew what she was doing.

Not pleasant but very professional and my chicken went relatively smooth. They did put $100 hold on my card HOWEVER, my colleague had to wait to check in because he had to clear something with our employer, and it took him about 15 minutes to get authorization. And she seemed very impatient about that. I don't know how his experience went afterwards. The room was clean had a nice fridge and microwave so I have no complaints about that. The only complaints I do have is that there were no ice machine no Wi-Fi and there were no outlets near the bed. Besides that I give it a thumbs up I was only here one night so I can only judge it on that
