Today my family and I went to eat at Renae's and the service was excellent as usual. Today, we came with a group of 15, and we were seated quickly. Service was impeccable. Our food was prepared correctly and quickly. Renae and the girls made sure our drinks stayed filled, our condiments were available, and all with smiles on their faces. The ambiance was comfortable. No one made us feel as if we were bothering them. What meant so much to us was that Renae herself came to our table to help out and to socialize. It's always a pleasure to patronize this business. When a big ol' cockroach came out from inside the plate .ie. and my food. I was so disappointed and disgusted I couldn't even take a new breakfast when I told them. Im sorry I dont care how good your food or service is. If it comes with Roaches count me out. And that makes me very sad too. On top of the 18 something I paid for it and didnt get back. Came here for the first time with my family for breakfast. It was tucked in to an industrial complex so I didn't know that this restaurant existed until my family took me here. They serve standard American style breakfast. It was good but nothing really stood out. I'm not sure if they have any specialty because I didn't ask for it. I just ordered basic breakfast food. My company orders from this restaurant twice a week, they never get our order right, then when you call to explain that you're missing food you get attitude, you have to argue to get the food you already payed for , Renee the owner is one of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with, she has no customer service skills at all , instead of giving me a simple orange juice that was missing from my orders she tells me she's going to check the cameras first? Followed the Yelpers to this coffee shop. Located in an industrial area off of Meany near a laundromat. Ordered the Corned Beef Hash with Eggs for myself and the Veggie scramble for my husband. The Veggie Scramble was pretty good. Huge portion. The corned beef hash was a little skimpy. Thin crisp patty. The biscuit and gravy? Dry, dense, huge, crumbly biscuit. The gravy was okay. Maybe a little bland for my palate. We've honestly had a better tasting breakfast elsewhere in the Northwest. Service was good. Attentive. Offered to refill my coffee cup several times during the meal. Checked on us several times too. Noticed that the kitchen staff was very loud. I have nothing against staff having a good time, but their kitchen crew had some pretty rowdy moments that could be heard in the dining area. Ambiance was all-American country-ish, the American flag occupied a whole wall. There was a strong patriotic vibe. Overall experience fell short of the expectation. For the price, the food we ordered was underwhelming. For what seemed to be regular patrons, the place is probably a haven. For outsiders, my sense is that the reviews could possibly be overrated. The breakfast burrito supreme surprised the heck out of me. Normally the egg is overcooked and dried up and there's not much meat. Well that was not the case here. The burrito was huge and cooked to perfection. I swapped out the country potatoes for hash browns and it was killer. I also tried the chili Verde omelet. That I wasn't too crazy about. While the omelet itself was cooked perfectly, the chili lacked flavor and heat. I also felt the pork was overcooked. Maybe don't use pork loin as it's too lean to be simmering all day. Biscuits and gravy was nothing special. It needed to be hotter and more sausage in the gravy. read more

One of my new favorite places in town! I can't believe I lived so close to this place and never knew about it until now! I had the supreme omelette (sausage, ham, bacon, onions, and bell peppers) and it was fantastic! The hash browns were also crispy but not overdone!! However, the pancakes blew me away! OMG!!! They were absolutely incredible! So sweet and light! My friends also had the French Toast and they said it delicious as well! The employees here are very friendly and very helpful! Plus, the restaurant is really nicely decorated and easy on the eyes! I will definitely be coming back here! I highly recommend this place! Update: I just tried their pastrami Swiss burger and it was amazing! Definitely one of the best I've had and up there with the best pastrami in town! I love this place! After reading many reviews I decided to give Renae's a try. I was greeted as I walked in and seated right away. I used the restroom and it was nice to see a clean restroom. The restaurant was also clean looking. The decor was simple, a few pics here and there. Liked the wooden made flag on the wall. I ordered the French Toast Combo. Yum, yum! The eggs were scrambled soft and I asked for the sausage links. Good choice! The FT was perfectly golden and cooked just right. The coffee was freshly made. It seemed the staff personally knew customers as they walked in. That's nice to see. The only problem I had was locating the restaurant. Its in the middle of a business center. I drove by it twice until I saw finally saw the sign. Just keep an eye out for the sign. Anyways, I'll be back to try something else. read more

Was craving a Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and was not let down. We were on this side of town and so glad we were. Called in our order and everything was made fresh and perfectly to our liking. We were looking for a new breakfast spot and I saw this on line so we headed over to give this place a try for breakfast. We were surprised that it was much larger and busier than we thought it would be. We were acknowledge upon entry and they said it would be a few minutes. And it was fairly a quick wait as someone left and they cleared the table. We were seated given menus and she took our drink order. Our waitress took our meal order and food was prepared quickly and delivered to our table in a fair amount of time. It was wonderful and we both were really were pleased on the food and service. I've been coming here for a while now after switching from Pappys. I have a group of coworkers that has regularly met at Pappys every other Friday for years now. I convinced them to give Renae's a try. I was a little nervous because I know people can be hesitant to change. Today we had about 10 people show up. After this morning's breakfast, everyone said they loved their breakfast, the service was great and the place was really clean. The portions are large, prices are comparable to other diners and the service is adequate. But there is one waitress that really hustles. In town with the in laws and they love this place. Went around 1030 on a Sunday and the wait wasn't too long. I will day that the outside seating was properly spaced out but the inside was not. I didn't mind but figured I'd mention it for anyone who is trying to stay spaced out. It took about 35 minutes to get our food. I got the special of the day which was french toast with cream cheese drizzle. It came with eggs and sausage or bacon. The toast was nice and thick with great flavor. First and last time! I got the tri tip and eggs over medium. The eggs had runny whites and the tri tip was gross. It didn't taste good at all after one bite, no seasoning, etc. My son got sausage and eggs, his sausage was raw and had to ask them to cook it longer. It came back browned on one side. His hash browns had no salt. We took it to go, he thought he could just fix it at home. He took one bite of the tri tip I didn't eat and spit it out and said it tasted rotten. I have been sick to my stomach all day. It was all thrown in the trash. Total waste of $50 in the toilet. read more

My husband and I went to Renae's the other day for breakfast. We are both in the restaurant industry, and both left there saying how well everyone worked together as a team. That's huge with us. Food- I had the chicken fried steak, and my husband had the pork chops. Both our meals were delicious, and would order again. Extremely busy, but only a 5-10 minute wait. Quick turn around on getting orders taken, delivered, cleared, and set for the next group of customers. We never felt rushed to eat quickly and leave so another group could be seated. I haven't even got my food yet but i am having a great experience so far! They are very clean here, the seats and tables are actually wiped down really good. They have refilled my coffee and water frequently, i appreciate how much they pay attention to that. Ok before i could post this review our food came and my girlfriend found a hair on her food (brown)....... i look forward to trying this place again but it sucked having a good time spoiled by a hair, every bite we were wondering if we would find another. i hope its super rare that this happened so i am optimistic! read more

We were looking for a new breakfast place on a weekday morning and decided to give this place a try. On walking in, you get that hometown feel that I love and everyone was very welcoming. We were seated right away and ordered. I had pancakes and my husband ordered chicken fried steak. We both had decaf coffee. The food came relatively quickly. The pancakes were very good, and rather sweet. I really enjoyed the bacon as well, thick and hearty. I would definitely order it again. The chicken fried steak wasn't as good; the breading was really thick and seemed undercooked. The hash browns were burnt and dry, my husband left most on the plate. The coffee was okay, but when I got a refill it tasted very bitter. I like black coffee and it was bitter even after I added creamer. For $40 with tip, I'd rather go somewhere else. read more

This place is close to where I work. I have had breakfast here a couple of times, and lunch once. The plates are big for breakfast, I think there are some who could share with a friend or SO. Today I had a patty melt with the clam chowder. The patty melt was very big, and they made it for me on sourdough as I do not enjoy rye bread. It was a very good patty melt, one of the best I have had. The clam chowder was a disappointment for two reasons- the one dollar upcharge, which would not be an issue except for the other thing. That other thing was that it was served lukewarm. The service is very good, they sit you quickly, get your drink and menus, take your order without delay. This is a very clean café. The ladies who are serving the food are very kind and helpful. A great place to eat, but watch that clam chowder-not worth it. Update- I have been eating here too much, I guess. Service can really be slow. I was here last week again. It was twelve minutes to get our order taken. Almost forty five minutes later we were fed. With one hour for lunch, that does not work out.
