Chicken Margherita Pizza

Solid pizza, great service, good vibes! Nice place to stop in for a quick bite. Pizza was a solid 7.1 - brick oven, lots of flop, good crust.

Chicken Parmigiana with pesto pasta 10/10

I did not know what expect since there was another Italian eatery around the corner. I'm glad that I stopped at Remo's. The service made a visitor like me feel at a familiar spot. I opted for a house salad and chicken parmigiana. I opted to modify my entree with pesto pasta. It was a perfect combination of the tangy tomato and savory pesto with every bite. The entree size was enough to share, so bring a friend.

This is a fantastic Italian restaurant in downtown Stamford. The food is really good, and the service is outstanding. I am a chicken parmigiana guy, and I think it's one of the best in the area! I'm selective and would choose Reno's any day. To be honest, the food tastes great even when ordering for pick up.

Gluten free pepperoni pizza

Excellent pizza in an old-fashioned style restaurant that's been around for nearly 20 years. Pizza can be ordered "traditional" (Italian) or New York style, and they offer gluten-free crust, which is some of the best gluten-free crust I've had! The service was prompt, and it's clearly a local favorite because it was very busy.

Can't believe I've never been here after decades of living nearby and visiting other restaurants on the block. Delicious food and excellent prices, even more excellent made by huge portions. The service is great, we spontaneously walked in from the windy cold and were seated right away. The staff were very efficient and the food came out very quickly. I try to avoid seed oils and the waiter patiently explained that only fried foods were used with vegetable oils and I was safe to order basically anything else. Super accommodating. They give you complimentary bread and oil to start which was tasty. We also shared the meatballs and broccoli rabe. I had the tonno salad and my mom had the pasta fagioli soup. Everything was delicious (I just didn't like the dressing that came with my salad). But the that ricotta with the meatballs was enough to make me return. The broccoli rabe wasn't too bitter and the soup was so flavorful. Will definitely be back to try more. Definitely a nice casual family friendly establishment.

Chicken Parmigiana

Prompt and friendly service at Remo's, and food was good, but truthfully not exceptional. Had the lentil soup as an appetizer (which was lovely), followed by the chicken parm (which fell a bit flat, as it lacked the kind of seasoning and crispiness you'd expect). Portions were great though.

Worth the stop! Driving through Connecticut we're always looking for a place to stop for quick lunch or dinner and this hit the spot right off 95! As a family with teenage children who follow One Bite pizza....we tend to try them out if we don't have other recommendations! This was fantastic NY style pizza but not just the pizza was great! Everything from the bread to the Zeppoles were all delicious! I think we will be replacing our usual Frank Pepe's stop for Remos! We may even have to find a reason to come to Stamford! Affordable, family friendly and great Italian! You won't be disappointed!

Great pizza and decent prices. Their service is pretty solid too. I think Remo's is the best pizza in the Greenwich/Stamford area.

Very good Italian food. We stopped here a couple of years ago and made it a point to stop again while traveling the east coast.

Best Italian in Stamford. Maybe even Fairfield county. This is my go to place. The penne vodka is great and the bread is my favorite.

This is the best option in Stamford! There is a reason why this place is always packed (besides the great location...)

I went last night with a colleague for their "reverse happy hour" (best idea ever!). It was our…read morefirst time coming across this restaurant despite living locally. The low light ambiance and music was definitely giving adults-only vibes. What I really liked was being able to talk and hear because the volume level of the music was just right. Our waiter was attentive and would check-in on us from time to time, ensuring our experience was the best. He had quite a friendly and genuine demeanor about him (sorry, I don't remember his name but he wore glasses and had dark hair). The margarita pizza, wine, and desserts (didn't have lava cake so I tried their chocolate mousse) were delightful to indulge. We also received a complimentary drink of choice on the house just because! I will definitely be coming back again and hope to bring other colleagues along for the Quartiere experience.

We started with some mocktails that were very good and the apple & pear salad that was also good. Our waitress also brought us some complimentary bread and herb butter. All good. But when my entree came it was so disappointing. I ordered the hanger steak cook medium. It was cooked to temp but had to be the chewiest steak Ive ever had. The steak knife wouldnt even cut through it. The knife basically ripped the steak apart. It also came with the largest broccolini I have ever seen. It was basically broccoli but ultimately was under cooked for how large the stalks were. I did try the desserts but they looked good.

White Clam Pizza -- A Must-Try Legend Many reviews…read moreconsistently rave that Frank Pepe's clam pie lives up to its reputation. The white clam pizza delivers a punch of clams, garlic, and cheese on that signature thin, char-charred New Haven-style crust -- garlicky, salty, and utterly memorable. It's the pie people seek out when they make a pilgrimage to Frank Pepe's, and some say it's the best pizza they've had in years. The clams are generous and fresh-tasting, the crust is crisp yet chewy, and every bite feels like a perfect balance of sea and oven fire. For seafood lovers and adventurous eaters, this is the pie to order -- bold, classic, and worth the hype. Margherita Pizza -- Simple, Fresh, and my son loved it. While the clam pizza steals a lot of the spotlight, the margherita and original tomato pies are also beloved. The margherita is beautifully simple: ripe tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil with that same irresistible coal-oven char on the crust. It's not as brash as the clam pie, but it's an excellent showcase of quality ingredients done right. Red-sauce traditionalists especially appreciate how Pepe's tomato-forward pies complement the zingier clam slice, making them great to share with a group

**Mangement should take note**…read more I have been to the New Haven (original) and the Fairfield location many times.... The pizzas that I had in those locations have always been consistently excellent! BUT this Stamford location has never produced a good pizza for me. The tomato sauce is always very tart/bitter and the cook on the pie is not the same. I have never had a tasty pie at this location. Management definitely needs to do some Quality Control at this location!

We also had a house salad with onions, tomatoes, raw mushrooms, olives, shaved parm, and a ton of vinaigrette. For our table of 6, we shared the tomato sauce pie, New Haven original clam, and the garden special. The garden special was my favorite bite that day because of the mushrooms, peppers, onions, and broccolini. The original clam pizza was also good, and I tried it after reading some Yelp reviews, but next time, I'll know to order the garden special and try another specialty flavor. My friend recommended trying their locally made soda, so I got a Foxon Park cream soda. There are a few other flavors. Overall, a very pleasant lunch experience with excellent service!

The staff did offer us free appetizers to make up for the wait, however, and they were delicious--meatballs with red sauce (with red pepper flakes, just in case spice isn't your thing) and whipped ricotta. I ordered the white clam pie and it was very good (and enough fresh chopped garlic to keep the vampires away all night-lol). Everything was good, but the service was super slow, so I'm giving three stars.
