Saw that there's a Black Friday sale still on so we took the drive over the Pali to check it out! Got there, there's writing on the door that they'll open at 11. By 11am, still no one there. So we decided to go next door to SoHo Keiki. There's plenty of employees who were willing to help and we found what we were looking for. Discount wasn't as good, but hey, they were open and had what we were looking for. I understand it can be harsh giving 1 star to a pace I haven't been inside in, but we drove all the way over here specifically for this place. If they were going to be closed, it would've been acceptable if there was a sign that said it.

Located in Kailua Shopping Center this newbie is a fun place to get that and so more like a water bottle with their shop name, a tote that's says Vacay is my kinda vibe and the cites shell prints on a tee and swim wear really got me smiling, I just love the selections they have here. My only deal is the ladies who could care less as I certainly don't fit into that thong or shopper they probably are targeting for as there was zero peep from them no hi or hello through my browsing experience and I was interested in a few items but have decided not to sadly as it was all lovely and reasonably priced. Left feeing a bit salty and it's not from the beach.

Whenever I'm in Kahala Mall I just can't help myself to peek in to see what they have as I do love their accessories selections I just think their shop is so cute as it gives such a relaxing vibe making browsing here so much fun. The shop is on the smaller size they do pack it all in perfectly along with cute and comfy clothing it's all about the bling, rings and jewelry as I'm always looking for something unique I've found items here that's not just that but affordable as well. The staff here is nice with a simple greet while I browse and if I'm looking for something in particular it's never a problem to have the answer. It was a large size, but not too big! I asked them, "Where did you get your Fanny pack?" Well, here I am! While looking around and taking a picture, I was approached by a sales person who was personable, friendly, accommodating, and smiling. He was ready to call the other stores to transfer items if I should need them! Nice guy!!! But, I wasn't going to wait and made a decision and wanted one now to carry my cards, money, and iPhone. It was black, not the bright orange one, not my color...doesn't match any of my wardrobe. I'm lucky to have this guy come up on me. The other two didn't flinch until I was ready to cash out. My guy looked at the other guy who wanted to take the sale. My guy at roped forward took over the cash register. Some territorial situation going on there! Funny... The store is a surf shop, swim suits, swim shorts, boogie board area with basics, backpacks, t-shirts, and etc. They do wear masks and require customers to wear their masks. I was in Kahala Mall and decided to pick up a gift card for her for her birthday. I was greeted by both clerks. The store is filled with colorful Hawaiian prints. The prints are designed in-house. The jersey fabrics are wonderfully soft and wash easily. Most of the clothes are made locally in Chinatown (Honolulu). The clothes are expensive, but wear well and are timeless. The clerk quickly fulfilled my gift card order and then packaged in a little leather pouch. She gave me information of how to order gift cards from the Mainland. She was super helpful.

I wish they had more sizes of the print I was looking for, but it was an older style print. The price range for clothing is about $80-$100+. Manuheali'i is made well and last long. On a busy Sunday, there were about 4 girls working. We didn't quite get a greeting as we walked in, but i made sure we said hello as we walked in (which they just looked at us). But when we needed to see if the other location had a certain dress, one of the girls were more than willing to call them to check.

Gillia is a cute shop clustered among many others along Hekili Street and was just fascinated with the selection of items that are found here as I love the huge centerpiece table that takes majority of the central space in the shop lays out various accessories from hats to jewelry and even some plates...or perhaps trays or items for display. Their clothing are beautiful though those weren't my vibe the staff there are very nice and helpful while I browse around enjoying it all. Parking is available in the back which is free though is sharing with a few other tenants along with restrooms but I do prefer street parking as it's a quick and short walk to my retail therapy and a joy to support these wonderful small and local biz.
