I love vintage. This place was great - staff were welcoming, funny, and I got a chance to talk to one of the upstairs curators whose room I fell in love with Kiya (sp). So many unique items, some were absolutely amazing - take your time coming here, you need to look at everything since the items are unique! For me the amount of vintage clothing was my favorite. Supporting local... When I walked in seeing items that I grew up with is now vintage does bring back so much memories that are great to see that some items has been saved and preserved yet is now combined with some crafty items in the built in cubbies was such a fun and happy to browse, everything is all so neatly organized and priced The reason for this visit is for the Pokemon Cards & Collectible Show with a dozen vendors and the various items they have totally piqued my curiosity and had a great time shopping knowing that I have friends looking for specific cards it was quite overwhelming just looking around but know that there so many fun and cards that I've never seen was something I'm not sure to start collecting lol! Did you know that they also have small space studios shops upstairs that are home to more local small biz which is a great space to support and shop local for unique find all under one roof. i randomly discovered about Harbors Vintage when someone reposted a story about Peach's first birthday on social media. I was obsessed since she was also a cream doxie so of course i had to meet her! I have heard about them before as i saw they had a pop up with shrimp daddy a while back but i wasn't able to make it, but it seems like they do random pop ups on saturdays with other small businesses which seems pretty cool. They have about 5 designated stalls before their store. dont miss it otherwise you'll need to go around the block. otherwise, there is street parking if it's available. it's shortly after Honolulu burger company and the Mexican grocery store near safeway. The service here is really friendly too and they are also pet friendly which is also super important to us :P read more

Hey Guys and Gals! Speaking to all who grew up in the 80s and 90s, did you move away for college and your parents donated or got rid of all your heavy metal and wrestling tees, those classic Champion branded NBA and NFL jerseys, or those pairs of well-made Levi's jeans? Yeah, I regret ever donating my "old" clothes, or opening my toys and video games lol. If you don't want to rummage through church thrift stores, Goodwill, Savers, Salvation Army, or go to numerous garage sales and hope to get lucky, then Harbor's Vintage is the place to go! I've been to the Waikiki location first, and discovered there was another location with more stuff! Hopefully, Yelp won't delete and move that business page to here again. This location is along the left side of Beretania St, in between Safeway and Times. There's only metered parking. You need to hit the buzzer to be let in, which is good to control the crowd. Once inside, you're immediately taken back to the 90s with a plethora of shirts, hat, toys, shoes, posters, and even a Nintendo 64 with four controllers and Mario Kart displayed. They just need the Sony CRT TV! Everything is very well organized. The shirts are separated by color or by genre, and other clothes are by section. There are toy figures for sale too, but very few. I did find a 1997 Hakeem Olajuwon figure! Hopefully they can expand that. You can't say this is a thrift store since the prices don't reflect being "thrifty," but the prices are fair value and generally what they go for at other stores, unless you do discover them at a thrift store. This is a resale/secondhand store where they buy your vintage clothes and resell them. So if you have cool, vintage clothes and toys stored deep in the attic or closet, you can bring them here and get some cash! Overall, Harbors Vintage is a cool store to check out if don't have a time machine. The items are mostly 90s stuff. So if your favorite shirt back in the day was lost forever, it might be here! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is in excellent condition. Some are almost as if you were buying it in the 90s. I need to check on my clothes now! read more

Happened to spot this store from the Safeway parking lot that's down the street a bit. I just had to walk over. They've got an impressive selection of shoes and clothes. Staff was friendly and explained the layout very clearly bc the store is much bigger than it looks. They have an upstairs that has all local businesses, some new and some vintage. They even have a discount room where everything is under $20. Parking is behind the store. read more

My family always visits Harbors Vintage, but we've only shopped at the Royal Hawaiian location because of its close proximity to our hotel. My daughter also visits them when they sell on campus at UH Manoa. But on this trip, for the first time, we didn't find anything we liked at the RH store, so we drove to this location on Beretania. We are so glad we did. We parked across the street at the Safeway structure. The store is clean and organized very much like the Waikiki location, but with far more items to look through. We were greeted by a super-nice guy who went over the store layout and the collabs they had going on. Then my kids went at it! We spent quite some time there -- they must have looked through every rack and shelf three times as they decided on which items to try on and buy. I got tired of circling the store with them, so I sat on a small bench by the dressing rooms until I was called to help in decision making. :) Everyone bought something that day. I missed taking pictures of the cute 70's Hawaiian polo shirt and 90's Hawaiian t-shirt my son and daughter-in-law bought. Prices are fair and reasonable. Items are always clean and in stellar vintage condition. The guy that worked that day checked on us just enough and was so nice to chat with during checkout. Other than my own closet, Harbors Vintage (or Harbors Vintage 2.0 as I like to say; since they've recently relocated from Kaimuki to a much bigger space on S. Beretania) offers a well curated collection of vintage and modern wear for both men and women. Whether you're an OG Sneakerhead looking for that grail, a style blogger hoping to find that perfect Guns n Roses World Tour concert tee, or a University of Hawaii student who's trynna roll into new semester with that retro UH hoodie; there's a little bit of everything for everyone. Kaws tees, vintage Aloha shirts, Supreme, D.A.R.E tees, 90s Tommy Hilfiger, my favorite Comme des Garcons, denim cutoffs from Bongo for the ladies are just a small sample of what you'll find at HV. They even have accessories! Not only can you buy, but you are more than welcome to sell your clothes for cash or store credit (you get more for store credit) or trade out items as well. The new location is dope! Much bigger than the former Kaimuki location. More space, high ceilings, good lighting, and a fitting room. There's metered street parking out front and along S. Beretania but you could probably also park at Safeway across the street then walk over. Arik's the nicest guy!! The entire crew at Harbors Vintage is just all around good vibes. I always feel welcomed when I walk in. Never any pressure to buy anything. Harbors Vintage fills a much needed void in the local fashion scene here on Oahu and it has been exciting to see its ever-increasing recognition and continued growth. Definitely worth checking out! I found out about them from Instagram and I admire this group of young people and their business. Got to see them in flesh, the store had many options and well organized. Second floor was also cool to explore. Personally I'm not much of a vintage clothes shopper, it overwhelms me to be in this type of store so I didn't get anything. It was my second time in store and the staff there was so friendly and nice. The person who helped me (should have asked for his name) was awesome. The first thing he asked for was my name (referred to me by name for the rest of my time in store) and even set the things aside for me in an empty fitting room so I could shop more comfortably and try things on later. Really great customer service overall. They have a nice selection of vintage T shirts, button ups, and aloha shirts. I ended up walking out with a wrestlemania 21 t shirt (I'm a huge wrestling fan) and the HV branded butterfly shorts, which I can't wait to wear. Originally found them through Asato Family's Instagram and gave them a follow because I was intrigued. I'm pretty new to vintage clothing and only really started getting interested in it through Harbors Vintage. I cannot wait to continue learning and finding dope stuff at this store! I will definitely be stopping by more often and hopefully I can go to one of their market events soon! read more

Located on South Beretania street, Across from the Safeway and next to the Taco Bell, lies a unique store with all of your vintage attire needs. Parking is a little limited but i recommend parking at Safeway and just walking over. From the moment you walk in, it feels like "home". Maybe I've been conditioned by all of horrendous retail customer service experience but i was blown away by the friendliness and courteousness of everyone. It was nice to walk in a store and not get blasted with a promotion or an upsell. Just people trying to have a good genuine conversation with you. Arik, the owner, has done a wonderful job creating a work culture/environment in which people are happy to be there. (that's especially rare in retail). I went in to trade in some clothes for some store credit. It was probably the most enjoyable trade in experience I've had so far. Arik takes the time to learn about you instead of just treating you like any other person. Perhaps that's the veal of why they're so successful and why people keep coming back. I'll definitely be back and i encourage people to come check them out. Even if you don't buy anything, you should come to just find out what it's like to have an owner that truly cares about people and staff that genuinely loves their job. read more

Their buying prices are pretty fair in my opinion, and you can opt for check or PayPal, or a slightly larger amount in store credit. Covid update: Upon arrival, you will wait at the door until someone lets you in. There is also hand sanitizer available at the entrance. I've heard this location being labeled as Harbor's vintage 2.0 since they moved from the other location in Kaimuki. Since their previous location was in a smaller upstairs unit, I am happy to see what they have done with more space at their new location. Ambiance, selection & staff: all amazing. One of the things I really like about this place is the fact that you can find something at different price points. They have casual more affordable streetwear and they also have a few rare items that will cost a little more. I also picked up some classic Hawaii pieces and they offer everything from your old highschool shirts to merrie monarch shirts. Parking: There's street parking available on South Beretania. This vintage shop is definitely a terrific addition to the Kaimuki neighborhood. I have been in several times and find such cool and unique pieces each time I pop by. I bought the coolest vintage jacket for my 19 year old and an aloha shirt for my husband. This is the perfect place to find a unique gift for people that have everything. And they now have gift cards - which is awesome since sometimes vintage sizing is a bit different. The owner is always so friendly and helpful whenever I go in.
