I found a few things that I liked but not enough to buy. There's a lot to look at and also more things upstairs. I can see where you'd want to drop by now and then to see what comes in as I am sure the inventory changes. I didn't realize that I've been in the shop before when it was across from Kahala Mall behind the old Tony Roma's. And I loved going there. It's like finding an old friend rediscovering it again. I decided to test my luck one day and came in to Plato's to sell some clothes. I was pretty…read moreoptimistic and hoped for the best turnout despite hearing from people that they don't really give you anything money wise and turn you away even if you have good brand clothes overall. But i chose to see for myself which i did , the process was pretty straightforward and quick and easy , i filled out the form and the girl said she'd call me when they finished looking through my items. And said they'd be done in 10-15 minutes , no problem I decided to walk around and check out their selections of clothes and items they had. I must say they had cute tops and nice styles that I'd wear or that I normally wear on a daily basis , I'll give them that. So selection wise for clothes , they're doing their big one with that. I noticed for heels when i looked at the shoes ( I would never buy second hand shoes from here or anyone for that matter but it was just there ) , it was a pair of Coach brand heels. Super cute and gave off early 2000s vibes , when i picked up the shoe to see the sizing i noticed the bottom of the heel bursted out with stuffing. And I thought to myself that's odd that they took those heels in despite the condition that it was in. But i did notice as well for regular oversized t shirts , they were a bit worn down. And some were priced at ridiculous prices and stained. 10-15 minutes had passed and i went to check on my bag of clothes , apparently they did go through it quickly , but they didn't even bother to let me know or say anything until i went to check on them. So there's that.. mind you i brought in good brands which were in excellent mint condition ( Adidas , Champion ) and a few other brands. They ended up only taking one of my adidas shirts and a workout sweatshirt from the brand Legend, that still had a tag on. The girl working only offered me $5.. $5 for BOTH OF THEM. . I was like flabbergasted and said to myself "Wtf". Everyone knows Adidas is a good brand and pretty on the pricey side.. to even offer $5 for that is absolutely diabolical. Especially when it was in amazing condition , fairly brand new since I didn't even wear it. And Legend is pricey as well and it was brand new with tags , so that totally caught me off guard. I personally think the girls who work here don't give a sh*t, and are there to take up space or just to pass time. They were all chit chatting and doing their own thing. They even denied four people who came in after me and didn't bother looking at their bag of clothes they bought. I probably never will sell here again especially wasting my time for a petty $5 bill. Yes , it's better than $0 , but I brought in good clothes and that's that. Besides , the champion shirt I brought it in and adidas , looked far more better than the adidas and champion shirts they had hanging up on the racks that were tearing apart and hanging by a thread. The girls here don't know what they're doing with their jobs. I think they just take or don't take anything that you offer to sell and throw you a petty dollar and call it a day. I also noticed now making this review others had similar if not the same experiences as me.. lesson learned though. Fair game. I will only return to possibly shop since they had clothes i wear. Selling wise? Hell to the no. Never again.. if you got this far take it from me .. DON'T BOTHER SELLING HERE. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SELLING TO ANOTHER LOCAL CONSIGNMENT STORE IF NOT FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE!!!!!!!!!

Both of our grandparents were born and raised on Oʻahu, and this vintage store brought back so many memories. The owners were incredibly down-to-earth and fun to talk story with. I scored a green palaka shirt that I plan to rock on the beach for Christmas, plus picked up some screen-printed shirts as gifts. There's also an upstairs room with more premium pieces, including collaborations with Japanese brands. Shout out to the cool mom that was buying gifts up there for her son. I've never really been into vintage shopping, but Single Double completely changed my mind. This place was more than just a store- it was an experience, and one I can't wait to revisit.

A friend recommended this consignment shop to me. I took a bundle of clothes many with new tags to…read morethem. They quickly looked them over and told me which items they would accept for consignment. While there , I noticed a collection of vintage and costume jewelry. Told them I had a collection at home to bring back. They took my jewelry. Explained they'd keep my items for 3 months and return any unsold items at end of period. It hasn't been a full 3 months but I stopped by to check on status of my sales They gave me a nice check for items sold to date. Was pleased with the progress will collect my unsold items in April and supply them with new items to be consigned.

I've walked pass this store several times over the years at Ala Moana and never knew what it was. They do have some really nice high end items that are being sold on eBay. Got to Ala Moana Tuesday morning at 10 am when they opened up. My family and I were buzzed into the store. I said I wanted to sell items to them. We were told only bags, purses, muumuus, aloha shirt ok, but no shoes or toys. The three items I could sell to them was a new with tags Michael kors purse I bought in 2020 that I never used. People online were selling the same purse at $255, a 2013 San Diego comic con original Batman cast swag bag and a new and unused Victoria secret marketing bag. The very sweet clerk put the items into a bin, gave me number and said it would take 30-mins to review the items. We took a few minutes to browse the store and they do have some really nice items. Really good place to come to if you were eying a specific LV purse a few years ago that sold out before you could get to it. It might be here for a few $100 less. Im told that LVs in good condition tend to keep their value. I didn't have breakfast so we headed to the food court. While eating, got a phone call that they were done with evaluating the items. I kind of knew what I was going to be offered for my MK purse and I got a bit more than I expected. For the other two items, I'm surprised I got an offer but they were in really good condition. All in all, I made $51. This was a great learning experience and we will definitely be back to both sell and shop. Next, looking forward to trying a consignment closet.

I never ever considered shopping at a second hand store let alone to sell my items that I no longer need/use that I usually do donate rather than to just toss it away is always a great solution not just to make some extra money but just knowing that it's not the end of the road for many loved items. If Eco-Town Select which is located ocean side in Ala Moana Center is located on the street level which is one level below the mall level sounds familiar they do have Eco Town in Iwilei which does buy more standard item while this Ala Moana location is much more selected. It's understandable and quite refreshing to see their inventory of upscale and brand name items along with more popular trend items as well. While I was browsing around I was more interested in some of their jewelry more costume ones that were holiday themed that I do have an idea for its use is cool to see along with vintage Japan Airline bags, various brand Aloha Shirts, totes, shoes and even Disney ears which I have a similar one that lights up. The staff there is friendly as they greet each guests that walks in the door and even made sure that they're always open to purchase our items. Small business like this that gives items life is great as the price isn't only that's nice but the selection of item that's selected as well. Thank you!

Win/win/win! They're located in the Ala moana Blvd parking lot of the SALT area, next door to Starbucks. The name of this place does not really tell you that it's a clothes store, and it seems tucked away from the main SALT tenants so you can go here and feel like a Yelp insider who knows what's up! They had vintage Levi's shorts by the barrel (note that the older year sizes run SMALL, so try a few different sizes to get an idea of the right fit). Plenty of cool jackets, tees, hats, dresses, etc. cute aloha men's shirts. The vibe is cool, laid back, good music and they have a fitting room so you can try things on. We stumbled across this vintage store after stopping at the Surfer's Coffee Shop that my friend…read morewanted to introduce me to. We hardly ever get to Wahiawa to walk around and this was one of those Saturdays where we wanted to explore, My friend is sooo into vintage Aloha Shirts and they had a good selection at decent prices. He ended up purchasing two at $20 each, both were in great condition and not the "run of the mill" stuff. We did have a great chat wtih the very personable owner who gave us a tour of the building which was purchased by their non-profit. We were very impressed with the apartments behind the store front where many of the volunteers are housed along with their facilities for homeless. They had restrooms and showers that the homeless could use (they were timed entry) along with a pantry where food was distributed. They also had classrooms including an art and dance room to get troubled younger people interested and out of the streets. It's great to know you are helping a good cause when you are shopping!
