This is the second time we've used Relocation Network movers. Both times we were pleased with their service and price. This last move was expertly handled by Kevin McNally and his assistant Stephen. Watching them carefully wrap and protect our furniture and electronics was like watching a choreographed drill. Each worked in sync with the other. No wasted time or motion. The people and equipment were very efficient. The staff did an outstanding job moving, loading, and transporting over 100 boxes of stuff. There were zero issues. They worked fast and gently with all items, including delicate and fragile things. I had retired and everything fit easily into their standard 26-foot truck that carried the load with just one trip from my office to a nearby commercial storage unit (orange signage). Mike, Primo, Edgar, & Joel made our move easier than we could've imagined. Mike introduced each employee and we started with a quick tour of the house to go over the details (what gets moved, what stays, where it will go at the new place, whether it needs additional packing, etc). These guys were positive, fun, and asked clarifying questions throughout the move. They took extra care of our belongings (nothing is broken, nothing is missing). Mike was great about letting me know what would be an extra charge and what would be free. They didn't just plop our stuff down at the new place; they made sure each item was placed in the correct area of each room. A lot of our stuff was going to be stored in the garage and these guys made sure to organize everything so that each box is accessible, and they didn't block in any critical stuff like the washer or the tool box. Very thoughtful, clear communicators, and super respectful. Despite stairs, narrow door frames, and a low entryway ceiling, these guys took the stress out of our move and it was worth every penny. If I could afford to tip them a thousand dollars each, I would have! These guys set the bar super high! read more

William Flowers is a real straight shooter. Although, better if someone looks at your move in person if you need a close quote. We talked to 3 companies, one sent someone to do an on site review and suggested 2 trucks and 5 men. William thought 3 men and one truck would do. We ended up with 2 trucks and 5 men and used every inch of both trucks. We were charged a flat hourly rate. Both of the other companies quoted an hourly rate also but with a "not to exceed". One was $3200 and the other was $2200. Our move with Relocation Network ended up at $3200, so I was not too overwhelmed. Very had workers who put in a very full day. My only concern was at the end of the move, when I paid, in cash, they ASKED for a tip on top of the bill. read more

Horrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I used this company many years ago when they were known as Sunshine Boys Moving and they did two local moves for me. Great job, reasonable price. THAT HAS ALL CHANGED. In August 2017 I had them out for a quote to move my two bedroom house from West Hollywood, CA to Nashville, TN and I asked if they would be the ones moving me from door to door. They assured me yes. I had seen all the horror stories on tv about movers and scams and how they try to get more money from you on delivery and how they often hand your stuff off to other companies you never even spoke to. They assured me they would be the ones moving me the whole way. They lied. First off, they quoted me $3750 which was insanely cheap but I was really happy about that. By the time they got done picking up (it was two different pick ups because I used half of my stuff to stage my house for sale), that move suddenly was $7500. I said ok. It was around what I expected and the idea that they were going to be seeing my move from door to door also made me want to go ahead. Nick specifically is not sincere at all. He assured me all along the way and when it all went to hell he didn't give a damn. They handed my stuff off to an outside company without telling me and when it arrived everthing that i ever owned in my kitchen was missing. Over $1200 in kitchen stuff. Brand new bedding, missing. One of my canvas paintings had a frame cracked all the way through. To make it even worse the outside company had several additional charges they wanted paid: 1- had to use the elevator, they wanted to be paid. 2- parking wasn't waiting on them, they wanted to be paid. After all of this hell, I went to Relocation Network and listed what was missing and damaged and they reminded me that their contract only obligates them to .60 cents per pound and they sent me a check for $250 to make me go away. I had no recourse even though I lost nearly $1500 in stuff because I didn't read that detail in the contract. The one recourse I do have is this review. Be warned. Also I noticed they have TWO profiles on Angie's List probably because of bad reviews like mine. I will alert Angies List to this as well as I think it is a blatant attempt to try and escape their bad reviews. Avoid at all costs. read more

I booked Relocation Network for my small local move after a no show from a moving company the day before. I spoke with Dan Boggs, the sales rep and we agreed to the terms of the move. I sent an email confirming the terms. However, when the crew arrived there were additional charges that were not initially disclosed. I called and spoke to Nick, the GM, and he was willing to work with me to make the terms of my move agreeable to me. The shining stars were George and Enrique, the moving crew. They were EXCELLENT! They worked hard and were careful with my furniture and very efficient. Communication with the company was very good. The only thing I did not like was the change in terms which Nick resolved. While this company offered a good price, they damaged my motorcycle in the move and refuse to return my calls. After unpacking I found some other damage (a few broken boxes/tubs which I would expect in a long distance move) but my bbq and my refrigerator are dented and scratched up similar to my motorcycle. It's sad that a company doesn't even have the integrity to return my call and have a conversation about damages. This move happened August 3rd and still no respponse. Don't use this company!! They talk you in with a low price per truck and say it is a flat rate. Sounded good. The trucks were 2 hrs late the guys were polite and worked hard but things were broken and furniture was scratched. As the the afternoon got to the end I was called over to make choices over what furniture I wanted to have put on the trucks. I said - all of it. They couldn't do it. They told me the guy that does the bidding has no idea how quickly the trucks fill. When they had first arrived and asked me to sign the paperwork the quoted amount that was called a flat rate was now listed a partial prepayment and they want you to sign. I crossed that out and wrote in the words flat rate. I greed to pay extra for the materials used but no driving costs. Later Ayal, the owner called and he was angry. This is not an honorable company. William won't call back even after 4 times saying he would. Won't stick to quoted price. Charge for rolls of tape that have been found and unused. Items are damaged and broken. I called for a moving quote, was asked square footage of the house and number of bedrooms and then given a quote over the phone: "one truck and four guys will do the trick and it will cost X per hour". No one came to see the house in person and they claimed they could pack and move the same day. Instead of showing up at 8am as agreed they showed up at 10am and it was downhill from there. Needless to say it became a shit show real quick. By mid day it was clear we needed a second truck and another four guys, and once help did arrive around 5pm, the quote had already doubled. Some of the guys were great and worked really hard and this review isn't meant to degrade their work, but 1/2 of the crew were taking it real slow all day. One guy spent 7 hours packing my kitchen, and I had packed all the glasses and plates the day before already. Some boxes I opened were filled with paper and had one small item packed in them. Other guys were high. I'm not kidding. And one guy asked me to tell my wife not to stand by the truck to direct where boxes should go and gave me some weird half baked sexist reason I didn't understand. The move lasted 22 hours straight. I'm not kidding. The packing was done mostly correctly however anything requiring screws for assembly (such as bedframes etc) were missing the screws. They couldn't even keep the hardware together. Seriously, go hire a real moving company. These guys are jokers. Again I should point out there were a few good guys in the crew and they worked hard, to be fair to them. They painstakingly packed every item and moved it all with TLC. In fact, they should consider changing their name to The TLC Moving Company, that's how much love they put into it. Once you do your homework you will see that they have a great price, but the thing that you never know until they do the job, is if it's all going to go smoothly. Well, I'm here to tell you, I had a move in North Hollywood a few months ago, and I felt compelled to tell Ayal that I insist on giving a glowing testimonial, and that's because they did exactly what they said they were going to do and left me free of worries. Lastly, Ayal and Relocation Network was recommended to me by the real estate agent that got me my condo...they just moved her daughter into a new apartment and she told me that they have done many of her clients already, and everyone was happy. I was happy that they came from a referral instead just the internet, but I encourage you to take this testimonial as if it's a referral from one friend to another...because I will tell any friend that asks me if I know a mover who they should call. This was the worst experience with a moving company ever! They changed the terms of the contract the day before the move. I received an email when I booked for $95 an hour plus $50 travel and everything included for a professional move. The day before the move they tried to change the price $125 per hour. They agreed to honor the original price, but when the driver showed up they were charging me for supplies. Fortunately I had everything wrapped in advance but they still found additional things to charge me for, including double drive time which they say is California law. If that's the case they should have disclosed that in advance. What should have been a $525 and move for five hours cost me well over $600, which included a surprise 5% credit card fee which they magically decided to add at the end of the job. I've moved several times in my life so I have the experience to know these guys are not the movers you want to use unless you love surprises on moving day. read more
