I moved a 3 bedroom house with a lot in the garage and outdoor furniture. Seth, Alex and Gill made it an easy move- they were helpful, polite and accommodating. The service at the office was very good as well. It was just a good move all and all and I did find them thru all the previous reviews on Yelp. My only very small complaint would be that I moved 2 miles from where I was living and they charged me 50.00 for gas- it wasn't the workers fault, so I still tipped them. read more

Had Reliable Delivery move me recently and was very pleased overall. Daniel the owner was very upfront with the quote of roughly $400, and the two guys who showed up did a good job in spite of our recent spring heatwave. I've moved myself so many times in the past, it was worth the $400 having professionals with all the proper tools do it for me much faster. read more

Reliable Delivery did such a good job six months ago when I moved that I used them again this week. As I previously experienced, they were on time, efficient, fast, and polite. Hopefully I wont be moving again anytime soon but I highly recommend them to those of you that are. read more

I need to moved promptly and decided to go with reliable delivery because of the good reviews on this website. I was moved by them on March 13, 2013. I have no complaints at all. They were prompt, friendly and courteous with my belongings. I also left them alone for a period of time to do paperwork with my new apartment to come back with everything still in progress. Everyone knows how some moving companies will do once you leave them unattended, they'll drag the process to gain more time. But not these guys. I defintely recommend them, Great service. read more

I just have to say that Dan and his team are awesome. They are efficient, professional and never late. We have used Reliable Delivery NUMEROUS times and every experience was just as great as the last. They will always go the extra mile to make sure that customers are happy and their items are safe. With one of our last pick-ups Reliable was delivering a chandelier to a home and before putting it on their truck-- inspected it and saw that it wasn't in any condition to be delivered to someone's home. Dan documented it all and saved us a ton of hassle. Use Reliable Delivery to make sure things are done right! read more

Excellent! I picked Reliable because of the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed! The guys arrived on time - worked incredibly fast and were very careful with all our furniture. I couldn't have been more pleased!!!! read more

We had such a wonderful experience with Reliable Delivery. This was the first time I ever used movers and I was a little nervous for how someone else would handle my things. The guys were great - called on the way, were a few minutes early, got started right away, and were very effiecient! They took great care of our furniture and of the house - no banging around. We had Chris, John, and Nate who I will request by name in the future (but hopefully we're not moving again soon) and will recommend to all of my friends and family! I was so happy with this company! read more

These guys were great before and during the move! The communication by phone and email to set up the move was fast and a snap! My sig-o supervised the move because I was at work that day but he was really impressed with how efficient the movers were. They showed up on time and handled our stuff with great care. I would definitely use them again in the future! read more

I have never posted to Yelp but had to because these guys were great. They moved my studio apartment worth of stuff from a storage unit on Morena up an annoying turning 1890's set of stairs into a second floor apartment in Hillcrest in 90 minutes. They were great: easy-going but fast and efficient, careful with everything and the best rates (less than $150 for the move). read more

Reliable Delivery lives up to their name. They were right on time, extremely efficient and pretty careful with my stuff. Luckily I had a very quick and easy move which I think made things very easy for everyone. They were done within 1 hour which also made things relatively inexpensive. I'd definitely recommend their service. read more

Reliable Delivery is Amazing. I recently moved my mother from a 4 bedroom 2-story house into a 3 bedroom 1-story just a few miles away. The 2 gentlemen that did the move were professional, unbelievably fast, and just plain nice to be around. The job was completed in approx. 8 hours, which is pretty unbelievable considering the amount of furniture/boxes/and random tasks we asked of them. I don't have time to write a review that does them justice, but I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone! read more

Let me start by saying I have never had movers before. I have always done the friend thing, which is great, but takes a lot of time, and you worry about your stuff getting broken. With Reliable, my move was done before noon on a weekday! For the most recent move, we decided to get movers. We just got married and had a bunch of new "adult furniture" that I didn't want to risk getting broken or marred. I got a few quotes and Reliable had the best deal. Also, I moved on a weekday to get the absolute best deal. Leading up to the move, the owner was really up front about what they would move and they wouldn't. He gave me written information. I have read other mover reviews on yelp and it seems that the main reason people have trouble is because they simply are not ready when the movers come. My advice is that once you hire them, start packing your stuff so you know what to tell them to move when they get there. It will save you a lot of headache. On the day of our move we had 3 movers, they were all super nice and courteous. They got straight to work. As mentioned, I worked pretty hard to get everything ready for them, and they had my whole 2 bedroom apartment packed up in one hour. They just kept moving until it was done. The move into the new place was a bit longer as the new place is on the third floor and they had to use the elevators for a lot of stuff, but still we only paid for three hours of work. I am so happy! I would recommend them for anyone. They even asked us before they left if we wanted anything moved within the apartment to make sure it was all where we wanted it! I will definitely use them again for our next move. Do: Call these guys; they will do good work for you. Do: Make sure you read all the paperwork and are ready for them when they arrive. Happy Moving! read more

AAA Service! This was my first time using this company. They quoted me a time, and that's exactly the amount of time the actual job took. They were very careful protecting my wood staircase. Daniel provided great customer service, very good communication and fair prices. I would definitely use them on any move in the future. Thanks guys!!!! read more

I used these guys to unload our stuff from a Penske truck that we drove across country. They did an excellent job. Josh and Gill were super friendly and helpful. They didn't waste a second when moving our stuff into our new home, they were very caring with our items, and most importantly, they were on time. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Perfect! Oh, and the move ended up costing less than we were quoted! read more

I can't say enough good things about Reliable Delivery! My moving experience was so much less stressful thanks to these guys. From my first interaction with Daniel to the day of the move, everything was handled professionally. We were moving from two locations into one, which added some complexity to the timing. Chris and Seth showed up right on time in the morning and were ready to go. You could tell from the start that they knew exactly what they were doing and how to load everything in the truck most efficiently. The were very hard working and kept a steady pace. They wrapped and draped everything so nothing was damaged in the move. Both Chris and Seth were friendly and courteous and made our moving day so much easier. And the rate was very competitive. I strongly recommend Reliable Delivery! read more

Reliable Delivery has the best team of movers out there. I would recommend this moving company to anyone - they are professional, reliable, clean, and trustworthy. I have used Reliable Delivery many times, as they give you the most value for your money. Hiring movers can be stressful and this moving company takes all the stress out of moving. read more

Dan and his crew were great!! They went above and beyond to help us with our move. Any questions I had prior to the move were answered quickly. They provided free wardrobe boxes and they were the only company we talked to that did not charge a minimum amount of hours to move us. Their prices are very solid and they showed up on time and moved our stuff with great care and expertise. We had 3 guys move us and they busted ass to get it down in as short amount of time as possible. They are young, strong, energetic and will not waist time during your move. That being said, they go to great lengths to protect your items and make sure they arrive safely. They even offered to help me mount my flat screen TV on the wall at my new place. Let me tell you, moving is not fun but rest assured these guys will make your move as painless as possible. I highly recommend them. You can't go wrong with reliable. Thanks again Dan read more

I have used Reliable Delivery now 3 times (we move a lot) They are very easy to work with and do an excellent job of making sure that your life gets moved from point a to point b in one piece, safely! I completely trust them and I am so happy I deferred the stress of moving to them instead of doing it myself! read more

When looking for movers Reliable Delivery is definitely the best (and only way to go)! I'm fairly particular on how my stuff looks, how it is packed and these guys were very patient and careful with my stuff. My biggest pet peeve is when people are late or they give you a 3 hour window of time they may be there- these movers were on time (probably even waiting outside until the exact hour hit)!!!! I've referred several friends to Reliable Delivery to be the movers that help them with the daunting task of moving, and every one has come back telling me how awesome they are. Bar none the BEST MOVING COMPANY! The fastest, most efficient and most careful movers around. read more

I just hired Reliable Delivery this weekend for a move from PB to another place in PB. The guys were super nice, on time, called when they were on their way, and packed up my apartment fairly quickly. Overall, they deserve a raise. I knew the costs ahead of time, but I think like most of the other posters, felt it was on the high side. To move a one-bedroom apartment, with a drive time in between places of about 5 minutes, my total bill came to $283. This included the cost per hour, a gas fuel charge, drive time (at double the hourly rate), a 3% card charge, and a stair charge (5 itty bitty steps in the front of my new house for $10). The entire move took 2.25 hours, and that was with a friend of mine and me helping out. Keep in mind that the Yelp discount only applies when you're paying cash... and I didn't take out enough cash to cover quite this much... Maybe I was being unrealistic with the time it would take to move, or maybe the drive time and other charges were unreasonable, but it just didn't quite seem worth it. Probably won't be using them again, just because of the cost. read more

used these guys for a move on May 14th, 2011 based on the reviews I found on Yelp. These guys are top notch, Dan (the owner) contacted me a few minutes after i had requested a quote on their web site. Love the fact that there is no minimum 4 hours like so many other movers charge. Very resonable rates. Dan and his A-team (Seth and Chris) showed up a few minutes earlier than scheduled and got down to business right away. Very fast and professional guys! Moved to a place with brand new wood floors and they got everythigng moved in without as much as a scratch on the floor (or anywhere else). Will use these guys again in the future for sure. Thanks guys, keep up the great work! read more

Reliable Delivery helped us move last week and they exceeded our expectations. They are a professional, efficient and all around a great group to work with. During the move we had a large armoire that needed to be moved to the second floor. Unfortunately, our staircase was too tiny to accomodate the armoire size. Instead, of them giving up...they found a way to back the truck up to the 2nd floor patio and hoist it over the balcony. Needless to say that they went above and beyond on our move. We had a great experience with them and would recommend them to anybody needing help with a move. read more

Great service and they were extremely careful with all of my high end furniture. I would recommend this company to everyone that needs a mover who really cares. They hold true to their quote and showed up on time! read more

I've moved a few times in the past 3 years in San Diego and have used Reliable Delivery every time. Seth and Marlon helped me with my most recent trip and could not have been better. Great experience! I've used them twice and was impressed with how quick and thorough they were. I didn't have much to move, but the furniture I did have was heavy. They were careful to wrap everything and nothing was damaged. Pricing was competitive. read more

My friend referred me to Reliable Delivery and I was extremely pleased from start to finish with this team. I submitted an online request and received a very reasonable quote. They came to my apartment and evaluated to ensure the quote was accurate. On moving day the guys were quick yet careful with all my belongings. I was very impressed with how they packed, moved and unloaded so efficiently. On what is supposed to be one of the most stressful days, they made so stress free! Short and sweet, they are great movers to work with because they're in a great mood and get the job done! I would highly recommend using Reliable Delivery and will be using them again in the future! read more

Moving is really tough. Josh and Daniel made it a breeze. Such a great company and team. Thank you so much for your hard work and making moving effortless. Not to mention storing all of my belongings as well :) read more

Super happy with this moving company. Before moving day, they sent someone out to look at everything we had in order to give us an accurate quote. We had our things in storage for 3 months with them while we lived in a temporary home while construction was finished on our new house. The movers are professional, friendly, and FAST. We moved into a 3 story home and I felt so bad as I watched them bound up the stairs with heavy boxes, but they did it quickly and with a smile. Everything arrived without damage. All of our furniture was wrapped securely in moving blankets while in storage. They took care to protect our floors and walls. I couldn't recommend more highly! Thank you Reliable Delivery! read more

Two bad reviews in a row, might be a trend.... I will say this, the guys (3 total) who came were courteous and quick... maybe too quick. I had packed up my belongings fairly well, but there were certain things that I knew were just going to have to be packed by the movers and I left these for them. While most of my belongings arrived OK at my destination, there were a few things that did take some hits, notably a nightstand that was dropped (3 guys and they dropped something?) that more than likely cannot be fixed and most definitely not replaced. They had told me that the nightstand had been chipped prior to arriving at the destination but I did not get a chance to see how bad it was until we arrived at the destination. I was told by them that Daniel the owner would take care of everything and I would just have to contact him (email preferred) that day. I contacted Daniel soon thereafter to let him know what had happened both via email and on the phone (voicemail msg) He replied back by email asking me some basic questions and was unapologetic for anything that occurred. To be honest I didn't know what was going to happen from there as he did not prep me for anything, but I did feel like SOMETHING was going to happen :-) ........... So it has been over 1 month since I have heard from Daniel and I still have no resolution to my issue. The nightstand is still broken and I have nothing to show for it. I suppose the 2 banger up above is more for the background logistical aspects of this company rather than the movers themselves, but they all represent Reliable and the moving process as a whole. Until this gets resolved, I can't say with good faith that I would recommend these guys to anyone else since if anything occurs during the move, you may never hear from them again... read more

Reliable delivery is the best moving company I have ever worked with. My wife and I have had very bad experiences with movers in the past but this experience with reliable delivery was excellent. They were courteous, professional, and truly reliable. Everything was on time and the customer service was excellent. Entrusting all your life's belongings to strangers can be stressful, but all of our items were expertly packed, carefully moved and delivered on time in perfect condition. We would definitely use reliable delivery again and will recommend them to all our friends. read more

Let me just start this by saying I never write reviews on yelp! I always read reviews but frankly I am too lazy to write them! We moved last Friday from downtown to Hillcrest - 2 bedroom 2 bath 1100 sq ft loft. Moving is lame. No matter how much you prepare it is always a ton of work and sweat. We decided this time, lets pay movers to do the heavy lifting. We boxed and broke down everything before the movers arrived. They arrived at 8AM on the dot ready to work. The 3 guys they sent worked really hard! Chris, Cody & Nate were very polite, very accommodating and professional. We were quoted at 3-4 hours. From start to finish it took them 3 hours and 45 minutes. I paid cash which got us 10% off. Total was $560-10% discount = $504 plus a $120 tip (I wasn't really sure how much to tip). I think overall it was money well spent. They did a great job, no boxes were missing, nothing inside the boxes was broken. Our furniture got pretty dusty in the truck they hauled in....but no biggie. Other than that everything was great. I will definitely recommend and call Reliable next time I need movers. read more

They've done it again! After my first experience with Reliable Delivery I knew that I would never move without hiring professional movers again. These guys are honest, well priced, professional and efficient. This move was even less stressful for me knowing that I had the best of the best helping me out. Hopefully I won't have to move again any time soon but you know I'll call you guys if I do! Thanks so much! read more

I found this moving company on yelp (my go to guide). I had asked around to other friends with a household our size (4 bedrooms) and chose them even though none of my friends had used them before (but all my friends had complaints about the other moving companies they did use!). Reliable won me over with their professionalism (on website and via communications) and pricing, plus they are insured, etc. My communications with them were easy and efficient (mostly spoke to Daniel but also someone else). They gave me an estimate right away and I felt their pricing was about right. I liked that they took credit cards although we ended up paying cash so we could get the offered yelp discount. We have used several different moving companies on the east and west coasts and this is to date my favorite (flatrate is 2nd and the only other worth mentioning). I literally have nothing to gripe about. The guys who moved us were on time in the morning (and they called us before they arrived), clean, not creepy, super nice to us and our small children (no grumps here), they were quick, able, and did not damage any of our furniture or items. They offered us free wardrobe boxes which I did not think I would use, but did, and the boxes were clean. Also, they did not leave dirty smudge finger print marks on any of our furniture especially my white covered dining chairs. They finished the job a little earlier than expected and since we were paying per hour, came in under the estimated price. I would highly recommend them to anyone and although I do not wish to move again for a very long time, I would use them again in a heart beat. I already have a cousin and a friend using them for their upcoming moves. read more

This is a long overdue review. We used Reliable Delivery pre and post-deployment. Only used for moving NOT PACKING, as I prefer to pack my own boxes. Was VERY happy with the job the guys did, with the exception of one new guy dropping a night stand but not a big deal to me. He was very apologetic. These guys were great at communicating, on time and came prepared! read more

I have used two other companies in the past: Global Van Lines - Two guys, good workers (some very minimal damage), but expensive. Very corporate. Bay Park - Slower, somewhat sketchy types. Got the job done, but took too much time. Reliable Delivery was better. They were faster, had a lower hourly rate, took greater care, and had good personalities. This is no slouch crew. Daniel (the owner) was quick to respond to my request for a quote. He and Chris showed up exactly at the planned time. The logistics were well planned, they hustled, and were very conscientious about handling property (no damage). The total time was within that estimated for our move (4-5 hours for a 2 br using 2 guys; and we have a lot of stuff, including a piano). In order to save time, I helped. They were great about involving me, while ensuring that they did all of the heavy lifting. Daniel indicated that after college he started the company as a specialist in moving antiques, then later added common household moves. It shows. The attention to details was there. Daniel really was concerned about customer service and communications. Not only will I use them again, I highly recommend them. read more

I recently purchased a home and was looking for moving people. I spoke with Dan to set up an approximate date to move based upon the close of my house. The close was pushed back several times and Dan was more than helpful to accommodate those changes. My sons surprised me and moved my things so I didn't use Reliable moving for the house move but would say that based upon the customer service I received I would definitely call on them for any delivery needs. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. These guys left me hanging a week before my move and are shady and unprofessional. So, what happened? I booked a move a month ago through a 3rd-party website that helps comparison shop for movers, locks in a price, and handles payment. I've used that site before and it was great. Reliable had the best price this time and great reviews, so I booked with them. Almost immediately the problems started. Even though the other site handles payment, Reliable demanded my credit-card information, even though it was already being handled by the other company. They also required me to re-do all the information I had spent 45 minutes entering into the website (number of boxes, furniture items, etc). When I protested, they were insistent, and it took intervention from the outside company to stop Reliable's unreasonable demands. Today, I emailed Reliable to confirm, since they had been difficult. I found out the earlier disagreement we had meant that Reliable had not guaranteed our move one week from today and had filled up their entire day we were scheduled to move. Basically, they screwed me over. Long story short, I cancelled these guys and am moving with another company that I used on a move last year. They're not as cheap as Reliable, but at this point I'd rather pay extra for the peace of mind that comes with trusting my mover and knowing they won't flake out on me. The kinds of shady tactics Reliable pulled is exactly why I used a 3rd-party company to support my dealings with movers, and I'm grateful I had them there to advocate on my behalf. Maybe Reliable is the cheapest, but they are not worth the money. Move with another company! EDIT: The owner of this company contacted me after I posted this review to explain to me why he left me hanging. He lied in that phone message by saying that they needed certain paperwork to comply with California law. I know he lied because when I contacted my new moving company, I specifically asked them if they needed paperwork and they said no-- they were able to get what they needed from the 3rd-party site I had used. So basically, to add insult to injury, Reliable LIED about the reason why they dropped me. My theory on why they lied? They knew they couldn't upcharge me since I had a locked-in price through the 3rd-party provider, and that the reason they demanded my credit-card information was so they could add additional charges on the day of the move. I've had none of this shady stuff through the other moving company I switched to today. Consider yourself warned-- Reliable is anything but. read more

Great service. Had a simple move of big things from one condo down 4 more. They took extra care at each location from protecting the entry doors to laying mats on the stone and wood floors. Their price was spot on and very reasonable for the work they were doing. On the last item which was a piano (full grand upright) they discovered the two man job could not load it. Twenty minutes later, two helpers arrived and the piano was in my new condo. I'd use again. read more
