He asked us how we were moving and we mentioned we were going to drive 5 hours away to pick up a rental truck in a different state (because online rates quoted over $2000 more to rent from San Diego). Sam said he could rent us the same size truck for only 200 dollars more than the out-of-state rate (200 was the price of gas for us to pick up the truck in another state and drive it back). We've never experienced kindness like this from anyone. Sam is the real deal. If we weren't moving out of state, we'd use this location a million more times. That price matching saved us two days of driving so we could focus on nothing but packing before the move. He saved a new truck for us, which gives serious peace of mind for a move from the South West to the tippy top of the North East. I went to Atlas on a Sunday; they were closed, but the owner opened up for me and let me use the scale, gave me a weight ticket, and was very friendly. I've since heard only good things about this business. Stefan was our estimator; he came out for a second look after we got a markedly different estimate from another mover. Our experience with the actual move (so far we've just done the loading process) was extremely satisfactory. Hector and his crew were courteous, careful, efficient, and responsive to any questions or requests we made. Hector was flexible about scheduling the unloading. It was 95" tall and not very stable…read more They were extremely efficient and capable in taking it apart to get it out the doors of the house. They were quick in getting to the destination. When we arrived, we realized that due to the baseboard at the destination, it wouldn't anchor to the wall without extra supports. They were excellent in problem solving and figuring out how to make it work. They were attentive to detail and ensured the finished product was sturdy. Very friendly and easy to work with.
