I highly recommend Best CA Movers - and ask for Volodymyr and Ilgam! They arrived on time, were professional, quick, and made our move a breeze. I couldn't have asked for a better team! I told them we were 'ballin on a budget' and trying to keep costs as low as possible. They moved everything we had in 3hrs (in 106* weather!), and the price we were quoted is what we paid. I cannot recommend these guys enough!! read more

This is only a review of my phone call with them. I never hired them. Best California Movers won't provide a Not-To-Exceed price, only an hourly rate. This is against California law. California law requires a Not-To-Exceed price to be stated clearly. They only provided an "estimated total" when I asked several times about it. I asked them why they won't provide a Not-To-Exceed price, and I received no answer. Shady. Update: After I declined to move forward, the company finally provided the Not-to-Exceed price I had repeatedly requested: $4,278 cash / $4,393 card. For comparison, I received a $3,687 NTE from Man With A Truck and a $2,850 NTE from All Express Moving for my move. My concern is that I had to repeatedly request the maximum price before it was finally provided. This is unethical. read more

Ali and team was amazing taking care of all of our furnitures and electronics with great care. They were very communicative and transparent with every step of the process. We also had to put a lot of our stuff in a storage. And even with a small storage they were able to put in all of our stuff. We will definitely work with them again. Thank you! read more

Nigel and Adam were great! Good company to use and they were efficient. On a tight budget as I'm in school, so I gladly helped to decrease the time. Part of my cat tree broke during the move and they tried fixing it immediately, props to them for going above and beyond for that, can't complain about that. Customer Service is great and cares for you! Will gladly work with them again! read more

Senol and his team did a great job transporting everything to my new address. They arrived and started immediately and worked through their lunch to deliver the best service in a timely manner. Every furniture was wrapped and strapped to truck to assure that no items were damaged in the transport. The price was clearly explained from start to finish. I recommend and will work with them again in the future. Thank you! read more

The guys were extremely professional and guided us with all of our packing and storage needs. They assisted us in clearing out my family home that has been lived in for 4 generations. Very friendly and we will definitely be calling them once our renovation is complete! *Highly recommend* read more

Bob and his team were super efficient on our move, I really appreciated the updates on how much time was left throughout the process. There were a handful of miscommunications that could've been avoided with more follow-up questions on their part, and I need to follow up on some added fees I didn't understand, but I would still recommend them to anyone looking for movers. read more

Adam, Ray and Atem were outstanding every step of the moving process. Friendly, helpful and great problem solvers. Highly recommend. Priced appropriately. read more

I have never had movers take 6 hours to move a 1 bedroom unit to another unit in the same apartment complex. Nicholas was professional, but his helper was not. If I were Nicholas, I'd be taking my time too considering the "help". The other gentleman was close to being asleep the entire move. We are so accustomed to having movers come in, pack things up, and go on to the next location... they even forgot one large closet item of clothes behind but because it was literally 6hrs for just the basics? No thanks. Mind you, we repacked items already to help make the move easier. Never again from this company. At $159 per hour to move? Yeah, not worth the price if you literally only have one guy moving. I wanted to add that the set up leading to the move was great, customer service was on point... the result? Not so much. read more

We had such a great experience with our moving team today! Bob, Sula, and Stas were awesome from arrival to departure. They worked quickly and efficiently, were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire moving process feel seamless and stress-free. Bob, Sula, and Stas were careful and handled our things with care. Moving can be overwhelming, but they handled everything with care and professionalism. We're so grateful for their help and would highly recommend them! Oh - and fairly priced. Thank you, Bob, Sula, and Stas - you guys rock! read more

Bob's crew with Stan and Deema helped me and my family move recently, and honestly, I don't have enough good things I can say about them. Not a single complaint!.....They arrived early and ready to WORK! As fast as they were, they went above and beyond to take care of our belongings which included a lot of antique and fragile furniture that all arrived without damage. They took apart and set up our beds, some furniture, all the TVs and checked everything to make sure it was working. What would have taken me 3 whole days minimum, took them 6 hours! read more

Sean and Alex were very helpful and hospitable. Everything was wrapped and handled with care. We made the trek from West LA to North County, San Diego. As stressful as moving can be, they made it all feel smooth and easy. I am very thankful! The company charges by the hour with a 3-hour minimum, and their pricing is transparent. Everyone worked efficiently and was mindful of the time. Joshua helped me with the scheduling, answered all my questions, and was very professional throughout the process. Their service is absolutely worth every penny. read more

Great guys! Fair price! No nonsense! Sasha and Misha were great. Very kind and got it done. Thanks guys!

I used movers for the first time ever this time and let me tell you I will never move another way again. Firstly, Manu, Aslan and Denis are absolutely amazing! They deserve the biggest shout out for loading and unloading a moving truck in the heat of August with 65% humidity down stairs and all. Each one of them took so much care and caution with my belongings and my furniture I couldn't have asked for better help. They did so without a complaint or scoff which honestly is so refreshing. Plus putting up with my indecisiveness all day is a feat all on its own. Also huge shoutout to the team who answered the phones and got me set up, even were able to last minute push up my move by over a week. The stress of moving and getting it done was completely mitigated by all their help. I hope Manu, Aslan and Denis see this review and know that appreciate them more than I could ever tip. I will definitely be using them if I ever move again, which hopefully is not for a long time. read more

Best California Movers - Movers Near Me - Poway, California

Hired best california movers based on an instagram influencer who used them, and then their amazing reviews on Yelp. I was moving from a 2br/2bath condo in San Diego to a house ~5 miles away. They very kindly walked me through all my pricing options over the phone, I chose a 3 person team. I was originally scheduled to move on a Sunday, but my closing date on my house kept getting pushed back, so I ended up pushing back the moving date by 3 days, which they easily allowed me to do (I did have to tell them by 5 days ahead of time which is in the contract). The team of 3 came on time and were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. I was working from home, so basically just watching them move out, and then back in, and they were hustling! I had packed all my boxes ahead of time, but they took apart a king size bed, a full size bed, and then packed up a bunch of dressers tables chairs etc. They were also super efficient with moving things down the hallway and utilizing the elevator while others were still packing the condo. Same efficiency with the unpacking! I also waited 2 months to write this review until I was completely unpacked, and I can confirm no damages to anything! The whole move cost me $1,029 (plus tip which I tipped in cash). read more

Just via a telephone call for a quote - when I was told a possible estimate that was out of my price range, I stated I wouldn't be able to continue with the quote. Instead of being polite, he just hung up on me. Rude! Glad I won't be doing business with them. read more

Senol and Alex were amazing! Careful, efficient, polite, thorough. They moved my elderly mother from her old home to her new home in 8 hours. Packed and wrapped everything carefully and made sure to check in with my mother constantly about where things should go, were very careful about unwrapping and cutting off the plastic wrap. Senol was so friendly and helped her feel comfortable that everything was well taken care of. My mom said 10 out of 10. Thank you!! read more

Never received my $35 back the cocky, rude, slow oriental guy that moved me ...$600 for two men three hour limit then after that it another high fee ...At almost the end of the my three hours he had the nerve to say to me it's going g to take another two hours...I said no you have thirty minutes to unload everything in my garage.Guess what he replied it is what it is ...that pissed me off your not going to get me for another $300 more on top of the $600 and my husband myself and my daughter helped ... first of all how do you know I have it !!!! Sneaky ass!! Then he didn't like the fact that I told my son to help also with my husband again unload so they can leave!!! This morons reply even though I hired him he tells me calm down every thing is going to be okay!! Really...why are you talking to me one second who the hell do you think you are talking to I hired and paid for you to move me not be my therapist!!! Do your job only and keep quiet!!! It is what it is in my house !!! read more

I had the pleasure of moving with this company recently and I will only be using them in the future. The pricing is competitive, and the service from contract to move date was phenomenal. However what made my experience was having Senol and Uluk as our move team. For a one bedroom apartment, we had it stacked to the brim with stuff. And they came in early, with extra materials ready to make everything fit. We needed help to finish packing and they did so expertly and quickly. They took care to communicate as they moved and in between trips were personable and kind. They respected our things and space keeping the communication level expert. They were an incredible team and they were so kind and accommodating. I wish them the best and hope that you get them for your move! read more
